It was the second day of our summer holiday. I felt good. I felt I am free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Zhongshan. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. Where There is Life, There is Music

What is music, no one can explain.

Just imagine for a moment that you are sitting in a magnificent concert

hall. The conductor waves his shiny baton with a graceful swing through the air.

A beautiful melody floats slowly around you

You sit quietly with your eyes shut, your heart open. The delicate vibratos

of the violins carry you to a mood of heavenly bliss. An airy solo of the flute

draws you to the imagination, the notes flow like some jumping swallows dancing

and singing calling for the coming of Spring.

I like music from my childhood. My father often says when I was a baby I

would never go to sleep without soft, beautiful lullabies crooning around my

ears . Now music is a part of my life. When I feel tired, disappointed or in low

wonderful an effect on my heart, on my pond of feeling.

Music comes with us. Where there is life, there is music. Where there is

history of the country.

Last night, I watched a tennis game, it was the US open, because there was

a Chinese female player came to the semi-final, so I stayed up to watched the

game. Unluckily, she was injured twice, though she still wanted to finish the

game, her body situation did not allow her to do so. Her insistence moved so

many audience, they gave her the biggest applause.

The power of insistence is great, it will help you set free your potential

金宝乐园真漂亮啊，不远处我看见了一个大龙头，栩栩如生，从龙口喷出的水，在阳光下变成了七色彩带。下面的水清澈见底，仿佛一摸就摸到了水底，里面的小鱼忽上忽下，追逐打闹。走到吊床休息区时，我们休息了一下，便又继续出发啦。到了儿童乐园，哇，好可怕，瞧瞧底下，全是水，掉下去可不得了。可我们还是勇敢的过去了里面的猴子在表演“杂技”呢!真不小心，杂技失败了。我还看见了孔雀、山鸡、猫头鹰、老虎、狮子等，我边走边看也想也问了解一些它们的生活习性，学到了保护动物的知识。

其中最吸引我的还是地震科普馆，地震科普馆里有地震仪，说起地震仪，起初，我以为是个炉子，是博学多闻的姐姐告诉我那是防震用的。地震仪上有九条含着珠子的龙，相对着九只张着嘴巴的青蛙，只要哪边龙嘴里的珠子掉进青蛙嘴里，哪边就发生了地震。

地震科普馆里的电子科技还教我怎样建房子，我模拟建的房子还可以抵挡九级地震呢!其中还有一座模拟震后的倾斜的楼房，我进去体验了一下，只感到晕头转向的，好可怕，但我从中学到了很多地震后施救的知识。

中午了，我已饥肠辘辘，我们回到了休息区，吃了午饭，稍作休息，我们又出发啦。

下午就更有趣了，我们玩了“太空漫步”,坐在上面就想要掉下来了一样，让我提心吊胆，汗珠挂满额头，但我还强装笑脸，生怕别人说我胆小，好在时间不长，我便下来了，但我得到了收获:只有站得高，才能看得远。同时也锻炼了我的勇气和胆量。太阳偏西了，我带着满满的收获，踏上了回家的路。

我的学习生活虽然单调乏味，但我每次学习完总有一些成就感，我在想学习的过程能不能也变得更有趣味呢?先说说我刚踏进校园的见闻吧，那时候我学习了第一堂教育课，有校长、老师和学生，场面很大。听校领导讲话我内心无比激动，拿起本子疯狂记笔记，校领导在上面讲得满头大汗，我们也听得满头大汗……

后来，我发现教室是一个充满菜市场味道的地方，又新鲜又很吵……有的同学在学习时很认真，一放松就变得话语连篇，有的同学边照镜子边抚摸头发，而我呢，我习惯摸头听着课，捏着耳朵记着笔记。每次当我学习到灵魂深处的时候，就飘来一股神秘的味道，我摸了摸不争气的肚子，边学边期待着下课。刚来时我都不敢大声说话，自我介绍都结巴，一下课我就飞快地跑出去玩。现在的我好多了，经过各门学科的学习和课堂锻炼，面对老师和同学们，我大概可以侃侃而谈了。

我学的是音乐专业，学校会给我们安排钢琴课程，基本上每个同学能有一个独立的琴房可以练琴。那是一个奇妙的小房间，走进琴房，你会看到一架钢琴在那里安静地休眠。我忍不住触摸它，它发出了动听明亮的声音，刚开始我太兴奋了，恨不得住在琴房……不过后来，像所有人一样，我慢慢厌倦钢琴，烦躁、静不下心来，可是其实我并不想虚度光阴。一年后，我终于沉下心来练琴了，我明白单调乏味是不可避免的常态，而如果我能享受这个过程，学习自然会变得更有趣。于是我每次在练琴的时候，都告诉自己要用心去感受音乐，因为只有这样，将来我才能带着我的学生一起用心体会音乐带给人的美好和快乐。现在我看到那跳动的音符，瞬间就欢快了起来，边弹奏边打着节拍，手舞足蹈，场面一度不受控制，哈哈，琴房里的我就像一个孩子。自由的旋律配上掉落的头发，加上挠到发麻的头，这些都是我学习生活的缩影。

俗话说“上有天堂，下有苏杭”，今年暑假我想去杭州。父母为了丰富我的课余生活，决定今年暑假带我去杭州玩。

我们到西湖的那天还下着小雨，但是在雨中游西湖应该会别有一番风味吧!我们先去了“三潭印月”，我远望着“断桥残雪”和“雷峰塔”。雷峰塔是用来镇压白娘子的，我之前看过《新白娘子传奇》，里面就讲了雷峰塔是怎么镇压白娘子的。说道“断桥残雪”，我还以为是真的桥断了呢，后来听爸爸说是雪落到了桥上，太阳只照到桥的一半，桥这边的雪化了，那边的没化，所以我们看到的桥像断了一样。哦，原来是这样，真有趣。

游船靠岸，我们来到了“三潭印月”，三潭印月又名小瀛洲，与湖心亭，阮公墩称为湖上三岛，所以取名为“三潭印月”。全岛连水面在内，面积约7公顷，南北由桥相通，东西土堤相连，桥堤呈“十字交叉”，将岛上水面一分为四，从空中看就像一个“田”字。

后来我们去了“花港观鱼”，那里的鱼，数不胜数，大的，小的，红的，黑的，花的，小鱼们有的在吃食，有的在戏水，有的在吐泡泡。我边玩边给它们喂食，真是高兴得不亦乐乎。雨丝飘洒，湖面上雾气蒙蒙，水天一色，人在湖中像置身在仙境一般。

在爸爸的引导下，我们又去了灵隐寺和岳庙。古刹气势宏伟，忠烈祠肃穆凝重。

从岳庙出来，不远就是“曲院风荷”，这里连着苏堤。在雨雾的笼罩下，这里的景色十分凄美，让人的心情不知不觉的也沉重下来。正当我们有些伤感准备离开的时候，突然从荷叶里飘出一叶小舟，令人眼前一亮，只见船夫穿着蓑衣，唱着地方方言的歌，眼前的这幅画面，让我想起了我们曾经学过的一首诗：《渔歌子》。

沿着西湖岸，我们继续往前走，眼前出现了一个特大号的“喷泉”，只见一个大水柱一下子冲上了天，又像下雨似的从天空上落下来，真的是大珠小珠落玉盘!最后我们来到了西湖的又一处景点，“苏堤春晓”。站在堤上往回看“曲院风荷”，竟是另一幅景色：水，雾和雨丝的整体画卷。这种朦胧的神秘的美，使我置身与仙境之中，流连忘返。

这就是我的暑假生活，今年的暑假是快乐的是令人难忘的。

Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not

very healthy and I decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will

feel happy and become better. Suddenly, an idea hit me that it’s terrible to

grow old becuase you have to worry about both your health and others’ opinions.

我们走进极地动物馆，首先看到的是非常精彩的《极地雄风》节目，表演的是男女两名战士到一座山中取宝，中途遇到恶人拦路，但他们机智勇敢，奋力拼搏，最后终于取到宝物，当他们离开假山时，假山顿时变成了一片火海，一座钢桥顷刻间倒塌了，吓的我直打哆嗦。再往前走我们又见到了北极熊，它大大的手掌，圆圆的脸，样子非常可爱。它们有的在水中游泳，有的在陆地上玩耍，我兴致勃勃地冲它们挤眉弄眼打招呼，它们却呆呆地看着我，没有任何表示，弄的我哭笑不得。看见北极熊在冰上行走自如，我禁不住问爸爸“为什么北极熊在冰上走不会摔倒?”“因为北极熊脚底有很多毛，有了这些毛北极熊不仅可以在冰上迅速奔跑不会摔倒，而且可以悄无声息的接近猎物，猛扑过去把它吃掉。”爸爸饶有兴趣地讲解道。“那北极熊为什么不怕冷呢?”我穷追不舍的问爸爸，“因为北极熊不光有厚厚的皮毛，还有厚厚的脂肪。有的熊妈妈在短短的一个夏季就可以增加200公斤的脂肪，从前一年的10月底到来年的3月不需进食，直到小熊宝宝出世再出去觅食。”“真是了不起的熊妈妈呀!”我心里暗暗赞叹道。

大连之行虽然短暂，但我的心情却很愉快，因为我不仅领略了大连的美丽，开阔了视野，而且学到了很多知识。这次旅行是我暑假中最快乐的一件事。

In the supermarket, mother first thing is to give my grandmother to buy clothes, buy out again to buy her, I think when I turn? 今天是元旦，我、妈妈和外婆去超市。出门一看天气，就跟放了很多烟雾弹一样，阴森森的。

到了超市，妈妈第一件事就是给外婆买衣服，买完了又给她买，我想什么时候才轮到我?都两个多小时了，终于看到了玩具，我跑过去挑了一盒厨具模型，外婆给我买了一盒，我们高高兴兴地回去了。回到家，外婆切了一点萝卜丁给我，我放在小锅子里，倒点水，放在我家电暖器上，热了以后，放了点芝麻、盐，给我妈妈吃。

开始她不吃，在我的请求下，她才把“饭”吃下去，给她也尝尝非吃不可的感觉!哈哈。

一次新的体验 A new experience

Yesterday I did commonweal in library to earn my public service

scores(which is similar to the compulsory credits).I arrived library at 8’clock

in the morning,a librarian let me to wipe the mirror in every toilet from one to

six floor.Then I started to wipe the mirrors.It was been two hours after I

finished all work.I was very tired,but looking at the shiny and clean mirrors I

had wiped, I felt very happy.To be honest,I had never done the things like it at

home,so it was a new experience to me,and it make me realize the hard work of my

parent.

昨天，我在图书馆做公益去获取公益实数(类似于学分)。我早上8点到达图书馆，一个图书馆管理员让我去擦一楼到六楼的厕所里的镜子。然后

就开始擦镜子了。等我完成了所有的工作，已经过去两个小时了。我非常地累，但是看着被我擦得干净闪亮的镜子，我感到很开心。说实话，我在家里从来没有做过像这样的事情，所以，这对我来说是一次新的体验，这也让我体会到了父母的艰辛。

A book exhibition

Dropped in at National Library to see the National Book Exhibition which will close today. Suprised at the fact that so many kinds of books are published in our country. Thought the childrens books with many pages of colorful illustrations were made very nicely. Bought a copy of the Chinese version of English and American Short Stories at a 20 per cent discount. Am going to read this through in this good season for reading.

信步走到图书馆看即将在今天结束的全国书籍。惊奇的是发现我们国家竟然出版了这么多种的书籍。我觉得富有多页彩色插图的儿童书籍印刷的相当精美。我买了一本打八折的《英美短篇小说》中文版。我要在这读书的好季节里将它读完。

杭州有许多传统节日，其中最热闹的就是春节啦!

春节到了，大家都忙碌起来了，有的人拿来春联，贴在门的两边，祈求吉庆。有的人在拿来精美的红包，准备送出祝福。还有的人正在挑选美丽的衣服，打算在晚上穿得特别精致……我呢?我正在偷吃妈妈烧的菜呢!

期待已久的夜晚终于降临了，妈妈把放了很久的鞭炮拿了出来，开心地说：“今天我们去放鞭炮吧!”我激动的一蹦三尺高，拍着手，连声说：“好!好!”

我飞快的奔向广场，想快点放鞭炮。“哇!”广场上人山人海，可热闹啦!每个人都笑着跑着，看上去都很快乐。妈妈给我一个小鞭炮和一个打火机，让我放，我看了看自己的小鞭炮，嘟起小嘴，说：“为什么我要放小鞭炮?”妈妈笑了笑，说：“你不是怕吗?”我只好放小鞭炮了。我仰起头看，漆黑的天空一下子就变成繁星闪烁了，一束束烟花冲上了天，向人们展示各种各样、奇形怪状的笑脸。

我心想：我在鞭炮声中长了一岁。

Yesterday my classmates and I went to on a picnic. According to our plan we would climb the West Mountain.

昨天我和我的同学去野餐。按计划要爬西山。

Early in the morning all of us gathered at the gate of our school, we started of at seven, soon it began to have a little rain. We kept on riding for an hour till we reached the foot of the mountain.

The little rain stopped then. We began to climb. Soon we reached the top of the mountain. How beautiful it was when we looked at the view from the top. We ran. sang, jump,

After the lunch we went down the mountain. We got home at four, all of us almost gave out.

午饭后，我们下山了。我们四点到家，我们都筋疲力尽了。

暑假到了，我去了外婆家。一进家门，就看见妹妹在跳绳。不过跳得可不怎么好。而她一看见我，就像发现了救星一样，缠着我非得让我教她跳绳不可。我一问，原来是她们班要举行跳绳比赛。

我想，这还不好办!我先让她跳几个给我看，只见绳子还没甩到脚边，她就跳起来了。我看了哈哈大笑：“你急什么嘛!等绳子甩到脚边时再跳。”我边说边给她做示范动作。

她又开始跳了，不过这次不是起跳快了，而是慢了，绳子已经甩到脚边了她还没跳起来。我可急死了，真后悔当初答应教她了。这时，舅舅从楼上下来，对我说：“妹妹还小，许多动作掌握不了，你要耐心地教她。”

听了这话，我忙叫妹妹去邻居小弟弟家借了一根绳子，我便和她一起跳，和她一起练。过了一会儿，妹妹说：“姐姐，我会跳了，不信你看!”我一看，她果然跳得有模有样，“一、二、三……三十九、四十!”“姐姐，我跟你比比吧。”“你?比就比。”我满不在乎地答应了。“一、二、三……”我得意地数着。哎呀，由于太不当回事了，只跳了三十一个就把绳子踩住了。轮到妹妹跳了，只见她两眼注视前方，两脚自然并拢，两手紧抓绳子，很认真地跳了起来。我大声地数着：“一个、二个、三个……五十八、五十九。”哇，妹妹一下就跳了五十九个，我这个做姐姐的只好甘拜下风。

通过今天这件事，我明白了：做任何事情都不能急于求成，一定要耐心、虚心!
