esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see

the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I

lay on the beach to see the sky.Dalian is a very nice place to live.

Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The

grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and

sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the graland. I

picked some colourful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small

desert, it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.

These trips helped me open my eyes. I enjoyed my day.

On  5th my parents took me to . We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. good morning, my admirable professors and my dear fellows. it’s my great honor to be here to introduce myself to all of you. my name is xing heng and i’m in my eighteen years old. i come fromxiamen, which is a famous and beautiful city. i strongly suggest you visiting there and i can be your guide if it’s convenient. after three years’ hard work, i am so excited that i am finally enrolled by my dreaming school,sichuanuniversityand be one of you. i am outgoing and i have many interests, such as playing basketball, football, and swimming, but i am only good at basketball.

i hope we can always play together in the next four years. computer science and technology is my favorite subject and i am sure that it’s also a promising area in the future, with the great development of computer science and our society. i am glad to be a classmate of you and i hope we can study and make progress together in the future. i greatly expect my life to be with you in the coming four years.

Sichuan is located in the Upper Yangtze Valley in the southwestern part of the country. The second largest of the Chinese provinces, it covers an area of 220,100 square miles (570,000 square kilometres). Szechwan is bordered by the provinces of Kansu and Shensi to the north, Hupeh and Hunan to the east, and Kweichow and Yunnan to the south and by the Tibet Autonomous Region to the west and the province of Tsinghai to the northwest. It is the most populous province in China. The name Szechwan means “Four Streams” and refers to the four main tributaries of the Yangtze River, which flows through the province. The capital, Cheng-tu, is located in the centre of the province.

From economic, political, geographical, and historical points of view, the heart and nerve centre of Szechwan is in the eastern basin area, commonly known as the Sichuan, or Red, Basin. Its mild and humid climate, fertile soil, and abundant mineral and forestry resources make it one of the most prosperous and economically self-sufficient regions of China. The area has been seen by some as China in a microcosm and is often viewed as a country within a country. The Chinese call the basin Tien Fu Chih Kuo, which literally means “Heaven on Earth”.
