Today, my brother went to school in Jinan and my father brought me up. Dad wanted me to feel the life of the University. We came to Shandong Normal University, and that was the fathers alma mater. The entrance is very blocked, because today is the date of new arrival, so there are so many vehicles that we cant go in very easily. Once we enter the mountains, we have many big sisters and big brothers, holding the brands of their colleges to welcome the arrival of new students. The first picture was the statue of Chairman Mao. What factor decides everyone’s opportunity? Some people believe that opportunity is just a matter of coincidence; other people believe that opportunity is around us, it needs people to perceive. In my opinion, besides what mention above, opportunity also needs us to create.

One factor that plays an important role in determining our opportunities is coincidence. For example, some people born in a rich family, they enjoy great chances to be successful, because the fame and the reputation from the family provide them chances. Comparing to those people who born in a poor family, they don’t have such chances, it is hard for them to seize the chances, they need to work for it.

决定我们机遇的一个重要原因是偶然。比如,一些人出生在一个富裕的家庭,他们享受着成功的巨大机遇,因为家庭的名利给他们带来了机遇。和那些出生在贫困家庭的人相比,他们没有这样的机遇,对于他们来说很难抓住机遇,他们需要创造机遇。

The other factor that plays an important role in determining our opportunities are our positive attitude. Opportunity often exists all around us, it is waiting for those people who are brave to grasp it. A person who is positive will perceive the chance, he will not be defeated by fail, still holding the hope that chances comes any minute, so they will grasp the chance as soon as it comes.

决定我们机遇的另一个重要的因素是我们乐观的态度。机遇总是围绕着我们,它等待着那些勇敢的人去发现。一个乐观的人会察觉到机遇,他不会被失败打败,仍然抱着希望,相信机遇随时来,所以当机遇来的时候,他们会立刻抓住。

In conclusion, everyone has the chance to be successful; it contains many factors, such as coincidence, attitude and others. In order to fulfill our lives, we must seize the chance to realize our dreams.

No one can have failed to notice the fact that water shortage is a grave problem with which the whole world is confronted. Actually, it has become so widespread that it has severely affected peoples daily life and hindered the development of the global economy.

A number of factors could account for the problem, but the following might be the critical ones. First, with the development of agriculture and industry, an increasing amount of water is needed. Secondly, the ever-increasing population is another leading cause of water shortage. Besides, the global tendency of warming up also contributes to the problem. Whats worse, pollution and waste of fresh water aggravate the situation.In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. First, it is essential that laws and regulations be worked out and enforced to protect water resources. Secondly, people should enhance their awareness of saving water.
