Important to save water

Water is a kind of liquid. It has no taste or smell. It is transparent, too. Water is useful and is important to us. Why? For example, we use water to water the plants. There are 2.8 hundred millions of steres of water in China, but everyone can only use 2300 steres. It is only twenty–five per sent in the world.

Not too long ago, there was a man called Jacques Cousteau. He loved the beautiful colors, and the beautiful fish in the sea. However, when he returned some years later, the colorful coral reefs were dead and grey because the factory near the sea poured waste water into the sea. Jacques Cousteau decided to tell people how important it was to save the environment under the sea. He started the“ Cousteau Society ” to help protect life in the sea. Now there are over 30000 members all over the world. Since water covers most of the earth, Cousteau knew that we should keep the sea clean. We should not litter the sea, and should clean up the dirty parts. As water is very important to our environment, he encouraged everyone to take part in protecting our lakes, rivers, sea and ocean.

There are still a few people who are not protecting the water now in the world. For example, some factories pour waste things into the rivers, lakes or into the sea near by. The water there has become very dirty and we can’t use them at all. Although there are seventy–five per sent of water in the world, we can only use fresh water, that there is only a little. So we should use little water when we need to use it. For example, I do not use too much water when I am washing my face or having a bath… It is important for us to keep the water clean. You may ask yourself, have I ever poured or thrown dirty things into the water? If your answer is “No”, that means you have already helped to protect the environment. Protection of the Environment Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment. There were few people on the earth, and natural resources seemed to be unlimited. Today things are different. The world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources,and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, human life on earth will not survive. We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products arestill put into rivers. We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems? If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept. Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them. The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control. Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.

木头强一天天地去伐木，树木已被他砍完，土地逐渐沙漠化。一天，刮起了沙尘暴，把木头强和他富裕的生活掩埋了。

只要善待森林，森林也会善待我们。人类对大自然的破坏，终有一天会报复在人类身上，所以不要为了一己私欲，破坏我们生活的环境。

20世纪中期，美国一名帆船运动员，发现有一片垃圾在海上漂流。而经过美国卫星发现这片“垃圾大陆”至少有160万平方千米。有法、英国加上西班牙的大小，至少等于广东省的八倍。而且这片大陆还在不断的增加、扩大。

海不仅是黑的。还是红的？

丹麦有一个地方叫海豚湾，本来这是一个美丽的地方。可是它这里会有一个十七岁成人礼。丹麦当地为证明自己的孩子有能力，就会让他们徒手击杀一只成年海豚。当他们完成了这个残忍的任务，就拍拍屁股走人，留下的只有无数海豚的冤魂和那一片血红腥臭的大海和还有其他海豚的悲鸣。

我们要保护这蔚蓝的大海，不要让废水废物排入大海。一起为保护大海环境而努力。

我的家乡有一条名叫“沙滩河”的小河。记得一年前的夏天，有一次晚饭后我跟爸爸一起去散步，正好走到了小河旁，老远就闻到一股恶臭味，我听爸爸说：“从前，那是他游泳的小河，但现在早已脏乱不堪，河面上漂浮着各种果皮，垃圾袋，塑料盒等生活垃圾和工业垃圾，有些鱼儿正在河面上大口地喘气。造成这些状况的罪魁祸首就是工业废水和生活垃圾的随意排放。走在路上，一团团的汽车尾气排放了出来，再看看天空，灰蒙蒙的一大片。”

我暗暗下定决心，先从自身做起，做好宣传活动，呼吁身边的同学，朋友，家人先行动起来。

今年再沿河边走时，往日脏乱的景象已不再。通过访问，我知道了现在的环卫工人开始了新的打扫任务，每条河设立了河长，专门负责这条河的清洁卫生，每个村的环境卫生普及员随时向大家宣传关于环境卫生的知识。

虽然这都不是一朝一夕能改变的，但是我坚信，只要我们人人都有一颗保护环境的责任心，从自己做起，从小事做起，我想我们的家乡一定会变得更加美好！

这个暑假，我参加了社区组织的保护环境活动，这次活动主要是针对一次性用具展开的。

在社区里，我们经常能看到大家拎着塑料袋，使用一次性的纸杯，在小餐馆里，大多数使用的都是一次性筷子，还有快餐盒等等。因此，社区领导针对此现象，展开了一次环保活动，由小区里居民自愿报名参与。

我们将使用一次性用品对我们人的身体和对社区的环境所产生的影响一一列举出来，然后打印出来。早上我们站在小区的不同入口，将传单分发给居民。假如他们有时间，我们会为他们一一做解答。傍晚，我们在社区的空旷处举办了一次活动，主要是让大家上去讲讲对一次性用品的认识，最后活动的领导对使用一次性用品的弊处进行总结，并告诉大家如何从自己的身边进行环保，呼吁大家不要使用一次性用品，一起保护环境，保护我们的地球。虽然这一天的时间活动让我觉得很累很辛苦，但我从中锻炼了自己，并且学到了很多课堂上学不到的东西。也通过这一天的实践，使我有了些关于保护环境的心得体会。

这次活动让我深刻的体会到，当今社会保护环境的重要性，和如今环境问题的严重程度超乎我们的想象，同时也明白“纸上得来终觉浅，绝知此事要躬行”。社会实践使我们找到了理论与实践的最佳结合点。也知道了保护环境光是口头上说是没用的要靠我们的实践行动来证明，通过实践活动才能更深刻的了解如今环境问题的严重性。

在我们亲自打扫社区街道卫生，分发环保传单时。发现虽然有些人对环保，对低碳并不陌生。可是他们在生活中却往往不知从何入手，因而并未采取什么切实的行动。甚至有些人，在我们上前宣传时，会远远的避开，一脸冷漠、事不关己高高挂起的样子。或许我们的环保意识的确有待加强，我们并不能再停留在口头上，而是加强实践，注重树立精神上的榜样。

“郝康晴，听说你家附近有个猫山？”我问好朋友郝康晴。

“对呀，你想去么？我还看到母猫生了三只小猫呢。”她的脸上露出抑制不住的兴奋

我听了顿时更想去看了。“好呀，下午放学去！”我对郝康晴说。

终于放学了，我和郝康晴骑着车一起前去参观我向往已久的猫山。

一路上我们说说笑笑，不一会儿便到了目的地，多少有些让人失望，原来只是个小土坡。土坡上有一棵枝叶繁茂的大树，旁边还有一个没有人住的旧房子，我们小心翼翼地把车停下，生怕惊着小猫们。“看。那是小猫的爸爸。”她小声的说，我顺着她指的方向，看到了一只黑白相间的猫站在屋顶上，精神抖擞，样子像是在放哨。警惕地盯着我们。显然她是小猫的爸爸。

“怎么没见小猫呢？“你以为小猫天天就能见着吗？今天你能看到了猫爸，已经很幸运了。”

到家之后，我的脑子里突然想出一个办法，再去的时候我们可以给猫咪带点食物。对，就这么干。

第二天，我们又去了猫山，当然还带着食物。我把食物放在木板上，等呀等，终于有一个影子出现在我们眼前，是猫爸！不一会儿，一只体态较肥的猫也出来了，是猫妈！她俩先是闻一闻，小心地舔一舔。最后狼吞虎咽的吃了起来。我们看着猫咪吃的那么香，口水四溢。真是开心极了。

之后，我们只要有空就带着食物来喂它们，可惜我们不能靠近它们，因为它们天生怕人。渐渐地，她们每天都出来。后来我们和猫咪们也亲密起来，我们现在已经可以近距离的看着它们玩儿。

有一次我们又带食物来时，终于看到小猫，黑色的眼睛，橙色的软毛，特别的可爱。

我真希望人类不要去破坏环境，破坏她们的家，如果不去蓄意破害，一定可以创造出令人温馨的信赖！

校园里，本应该是干干净净的，可是同学们下课撕纸玩，把校园弄得灰头土脸，一点儿都不像个学校，倒像一个游乐场，满地的垃圾，吹的哪里都是。校长在每周的升旗仪式上多次强调过，不能在校园里乱扔垃圾，应该扔到垃圾桶里，可有一些同学就是懒惰，觉得走到垃圾桶那儿太远了，就随手一扔，扔到自己座位的旁边，检查卫生的同学来了，一看，你那有纸，肯定减你们班的卫生分，你不仅为班级抹了黑，还为大地母亲的身上增加了一层污泥，把她那美丽的容貌变得更加丑陋。

有一次，老师在课堂上给我们讲了一个关于人们乱砍伐树木，而遭到了兽类们攻击的故事。那时的人们，都靠着砍伐树木为生，可他们并没有想到砍伐树木的严重性。一天一天的过去了，树木也逐渐变少了，忽然有一天，许多动物都跑下了山，兴风作浪，骚扰人们的生活，可人们并不知道这灾祸是他们自己招引来的，他们每天砍树，树木越来越少，动物们都失去了温暖而又舒适的家。慢慢地，人们渐渐意识到了自己的错误，那些农民们又都积极种树，弥补他们的过失，为动物们重新建造了家园，动物们这才又都回到了森林里去，小动物和农民们也都过上了快乐的生活。

Recently we have held a class meeting to discuss what is considered to be honorable behavior and what is shameful.It is really a pity to see all this in our school.Some students don’t respect their teachers or parents. Some don’t take their studies seriously and cheat in exams. Some throw wastes everywhere and pollute the environment . 垃圾是随处可见的，当你走在路上，一块纸片从你的眼前飘过，你是愤怒的还是……当你看到有人倒污水时，你是不是已经想到水源被污染的画面？当你看到这些画面，你会不会有所行动？是垃圾带走了我们地球美丽的面貌，是垃圾把我们的新鲜空气污染，是垃圾污染了我们的生命之源——水，是垃圾的爆炸生生夺走了我们的生命，是垃圾的面积过多让我们没有地方生存，是垃圾让我们染上疾病，可见垃圾的危害有多大。

为了让我们的环境更加干净，我提出以下这些建议：

1、可以做广告牌，告诉人们保护环境的重要性，可以把倡议书做成报纸和书籍等。

2、可以让小伙伴们组织成环保小队，主动捡拾垃圾。

3、不用一次性筷子、纸杯、袋子等用品，也可以在超市门口分发布袋。

4、在网上、微博、QQ、微信上发广告，呼吁人们行动起来，保护环境。

5、节约纸张，就是保护森林，为了让我们的地球更加富有生机，呼吁人们节约用纸。

People plant a great number of young trees in the mountains.When the trees grow big and tall enough,they are cut down by workers and carried out of the mountains to the paper mill where fine paper is made from wood.Then it is taken to every corner of the country and used for different purposes.Some people use paper to copy writing,others use it to write something such as letters,reports and articles.When paper turns out to be of no use,the waste paper is collected and retreated in the recycling factory before being put into use again.

空气污染了森林的小镇，动物学校要举行一个以“绿色环境，人人有责”为主题的活动。让大家从身边做起，捡起身边的每一块垃圾。

星期五，小兔子老师带着小动物们去郊游，小动物们都带着各种好吃的食物，而且每个同学的手里都拿着一个袋子，只有小狐狸只带了一些食物。兔子老师说：“小狐狸同学，没有袋子，你吃剩下的果皮怎么处理呢？小狐狸不高兴的用眼睛瞪了一下小兔子老师不服气的说"哼，用你管？”

小狐狸低下头很愧疚的说：“谢谢老师的批评，以后我一定不乱扔垃圾了，我要保护环境，要给地球一片绿色的外衣。"老师竖起大拇指说到："真棒，说的真好，我们每个人都应该保护我们的环境，也要监督破坏环境的人，叫他们积极改正。”

有了小狐狸的例子，大家都知道保护环境了，给森林一片绿色，给地球一片绿色。
