My Favourite detective

In the world of detective novels, Sherlock Holmes is undoubtedly the most

famous one. But for me, the greatest detective in novels is Hercule Poirot, a

little Belgian who always uses his little grey cells to find the truth.

I really appreciate him for various reasons, such as his having an insight

into other peoples psychology, his understanding on hunman nature and his being

merciful. But most improtant thing is that he looks more like a real human

being, compared with Holmes or other legend detectives. He has such a funny

appearance, an egg-shaped head and exaggerated moustache . He enjoys delicious

cuisine and focuses on his own dressing. He is always humor and likes to mock

himself. he prefers to stay with young peole for being attracted by their vigor

and energy. And there are still so many lovely features of him I can list.

Anyway, I like him and appreciate him. I always get touched by the

我从爸爸身上读到了坚持不懈和永不放弃的精神。

去年暑假，我们一家去了九寨沟。最后一天我们去了黄龙，黄龙以景色优美而着名，其最高处有美丽的五彩池。这是我向往已久要去的地方，可高原反应却是免不了的。从机场下来后，我为自己鼓足了信心，开始行程。刚开始，我心情还不错，空气十分新鲜。可走了一段，我双腿开始发软，头部也有剧烈的疼痛，呼吸相当困难。看看前面原路折回的旅客，我渐渐萌发了退意。父亲看到我的样子，说：“再坚持一下，否则就白来了。”此时，我看到父亲微胖的身子，立即想起父亲做实验时的情景，他的精神，难道不值得我学习吗?我在旁边的小亭子里歇了歇后，又继续上路。在路途中，我由于脑部缺氧而头部剧烈疼痛，双腿像灌了铅似的难以前行，但我还是走几步，停下来歇一歇，再继续向前迈进，山顶似乎在向我招手，最后，我几乎用尽浑身力气，终于登上了最高点，看到了我只有在书本上才看到的美丽的“五彩池”。我的坚持给我带来了胜利的果实。

In the two sides of the road, there are many green trees and beautiful flowers. In the left side of the road, there are two teaching buildings and a meeting Hall. Teachers often get together every Monday afternoon. There are about 24 classrooms in our school, included two computer rooms and an Art room. We like computer studies very much. We can surf the Internet and play computer games, and sometimes we write emails to each other. In front of the teaching building, there is a river. We can see big ships on it, and it always makes noise. Around the rive, there are some flowers and trees. In spring, we can see many butterflies and other insects. We watch they dance in the flowers. They dance so beautifully. In summer, we can catch grasshoppers between the grass. We have great fun there. In the right side of the road ,there is a library and a big playground. There are many kinds of books in the library. After lunch, we often go to the library to find some interesting books. We often read books about animals and interesting stories. We can learn a lot from the books. We do morning exercise everyday, and we like doing exercise. In the free time, we often play football and basketball. Last month, we had a sports meeting, we were all very excided, especially when we saw the teacher"s running race.

Its about one and a half month away from the Chinese New Year, It is a

year.

As of the Chinese traditional customs, our parents and grandparents will

sweep every corner of the house and clean the windows until they gleam, and

washing clothes, buying foods and goods for the new years future use and

presents.

Children will be the most benefited group during this feast period. One

month before that, they are expecting the new clothes, delicious foods. The

firecrackers and the years allowance for their increased ages.

In recent years, with the rising of the standard of life, Chinese tend to

make various holiday plans to spend a different and meaningful new year. Such as

traveling abroad, or be absorbed in their hobbies, and even work.

Why today we try to spend our Chinese new year in such a different way? I

think thats because this is a era of free life and personality high-ranking.

Though there are still something traditional, our young generation is attempting

to make something new and suitable for ourselves. And we would like to take

something really worth to be cherished in our memorable treasures. Thats

amazing and wonderful!

inherited from our ancestors, but if necessary, I would like to enjoy it by some

ways personal.

I learn Chines, math, English, PE, Nature and other subjects in school.

Among them, my favorite subjects are English, PE and Nature. English is an

interesting course that I like it very much. The pronunciation and spell are so

different from Chinese. In PE class, I can play games or doing exercises. After

all, sitting so long in classroom, having a class outside makes me relax. Nature

is really a wonderful subject that I can learn a lot in it. Its knowledge covers

astronomy, geography and biology. It’s helpful to know the world better. With

these subjects I like, I am eager to go to school and pay attention to my

study.

I like Yao Ming very much who is the idol I like most. I like playing

basketball and in my opinion, he is the best basketball player inChina.

When he started to play basketball in NBA, I was so excited that I saw the

news about him everyday. When he performed well, I was really happy for him.

his personalities attract me as well. He is kind-hearted and humorous. He

always smiles and is kind to very body, even his opponents. Although he does not

play basketball anymore, I still like him. I hope he can do well in other fields
