In our accommodations, many students have computers. Also we can see in the electronic reading room and the cybercafés, rows of students sit in front of the monitors. Computers play an important role in our everyday life.

We use computers to cope with files and photos etc. And the internet is just a large database and we can get on the internet to search for anything we need through the computers. We can keep in touch with the others with the emails, msn and QQ etc. Enjoying ourselves in music, games and movies can loosen us after nervous classes.

Each coin has two sides. Disadvantages of the computers can also do harm to us. Most of us students use the computers more to play games and chat with strangers than searching for useful information. That’s a waste of time. There is so much rubbish on the net, which are some medium messages about crime or sex. It does harm to our minds.

From all above, we should learn to use computers in our own right ways. The computers doesn’t have no responsibility, it depends on the way we use them.

When I was in high school, one of my classmates sit right beside me. His

name is ChenLiang. He is my unforgettable person in my life.

I remembered my mathematics was just mediocre at that time, but he was

extraordinary and excellent in calculating and solving mathematic questions. He

often received perfect scores. Of course, I wished I could reach at his level.

Since we talked all day long, I asked how he could solve those difficult

questions. He was so patient and polite to answer my sometimes ridiculous

thinking. Gradually, I built my confidence at mathematics and finally passed the

college entrance exam.

Now, we are apart, but I still remember his great attitude and willing in

The public libraries are crowded with people on weekdays as well as Sundays

Last autumn we took a trip to Qianshan by bus. It is about thirty miles from the city. We planned to put up in a hotel there in order to watch the sun rise the next morning.

As soon as we got there, we began to climb up the mountains. How great the sight is! We felt as if we had entered amother world full of beauty, peaeefulness and loveliness. Up, up it rose, adding to itself strength and glory at every step. It dazzled with vigour, driving away darkness, cold, and misery from the earth, and bring light, warmth, and happiness to men.

We were completely amazed at the wonder and the greatness of nature. We jumped and shouted like innocent children and we bathed in the first rays of the sun with the peak till it was time for our return.

However, reading books has always been the major and convenient approach to

knowledge. One may acquire most of his knowledge through reading books, since

equally important means of acquiring knowledge is through practice, especially

My childhood was unforgettable. When I was five years old, I went to the kindergarten every day. I had a lot of good time with my little friends. My parents took good care of me. I was afraid of going home alone, so I started to cry and I was angry with my mother. Although I insisted that she and my father should protect me safely, they still disagreed with me. They thought it was good for me to learn to be independent. The next day after class, I had to take a bus to go back home. I forgot to see the bus route when I got on. Therefore, when the bus was more and more far from my home, I felt anxious. Finally, I got the last stop, and then took the same bus back home. When I told my parents my story, they never thought it is a mistake, on the contrary, they thought it is a useful experience. From then on, I dont let them meet me after school any more.

If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance more often, and never

give up a thing because it was or inconvenient. if we want light, we must

conquer darkness. perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results. “there

if i were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; i

would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. i would remember that

a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once.the habit of

attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. i often hear grown

up people say “ i could not fix my attention on the sermon or book, although I

wished to do so” , and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth.

if I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the
