As for Meggie, I think she was a good girl. She was beautiful and smart, but she it was wrong for her to love Ralph. Meggie was an excellent girl, she was able to find an outstanding boy to love her, but she put all her love on Ralph even she married Luke. She married Luke just because Luke looked like Ralph. In my memory, though my hometown is a small village, it is very beautiful. When I was small, I liked to caught fish in the river, the water was so clean that I could see the fish. As I miss my hometown so much, last week, I went back to my hometown, I found the place in my memory was not like what it was. The trees were not that numerous, the roads became bigger, while there was less place for the river, I saw some dead fish in the river, the water was dirty, the river pollution was so serious! I took a trip to Shanghai with my mother during the seven-day holiday. It

took us more than two hours to drive to Shanghai from my home in Haimen. We

stayed in a large hotel on the eighth floor. On the first day， I just stayed in

the hotel and rested. On the second day， my brother and I went to Nanjing Road.

It’s the busiest street in Shanghai. When we got there， there were lots of

people. We walked from one shop to another. I bought two T-shirts and two pairs

of trousers for the ing summer. The T-shirts and trousers I bought are all white

because white is my favourite colour. My brother also bought some clothes. On

the third day， my mother took me to Jinjiang Entertainment Centre. It was full

of people. I played many kinds of gamesthere. I had a good time. The other days，

I went to some other interesting places， such as the Oriental Bright Pearl TV

Tower， the Huangpu River and Shanghai International Conference Centre. I didn’t

forget to do my homework in the evening. I had a full and happy holiday.

Once I had a very good friend, but since we had different opinions on the

problem, we never talked to each other again and we lost our friendship. So I

was wondering if the long time friendship existed. Later I met a new friend, we

shared the same interest and she showed me the good qualities, such as patience

and kindness. Sometimes when we had argument, she would not angry and left a

while to let me calm down. Now I learn to be considerate. I cherish our

My Computer

When I was in grade four in primary school, my father taught me how to use computer. After that, I was very interested in playing computer. I watched movies, played computer games, searched the Internet and listened to the music on computer. Because my father must work in his computer, so he bought another for me. I was very happy that I had my own computer. It was put in the study. I am always very careful to use my computer, because I am worried I would break. I often chat with my net friends. It was already late when we set out for the next town, fifteen miles away on the other side of the hills. It got dark soon; we drove fast along the narrow winding road that led to the hills. Wecouldntidentify any sign of the town marked on the map. Suddenly the car stopped. We had run out of petrol. Therefore, although we had little food with us, we decided to spend the night in the car.

Our meal finished very soon. I went to sleep at once. But my companion Bill who was a poor sleeper went for a walk up the hills. From the top of the hill he saw the lights of the town we were looking for. We unloaded all our luggage and pushed the car to the top of the hill at once. Then we went back to the luggage, loaded the car again and set off down the hill. We reached the town less than a quarter, and found a hotel quite easily.

How an exhausting day!

多么疲惫的一天啊!

Christmas is the most important festival in the western world. It falls on

December 25th. When my mother and I stayed in America, we were invited by one of

my mothers friends to have Christmas with an American family. We bought some

presents for our American friends on our way to their house.They had prepared

different kinds of gifts for their family and guests when we got to their house,

such as Christmas candles, cakes, cards, little toys, biscuits and so on. A

Christmas tree was placed in the comer of the brilliant hall. How beautiful it

was! We were impressed by these. We had a big meal. After dinner, they told us

some interesting stories about Christmas. We learned that Christmas had

something to do with God. We went to bed at midnight. Though we knew the Santa

Claus was not true, we were still waiting for the Santa Claus with white beard

to bring us presents.And we received many beautiful presents the next

morning.This Christmas was really unforgettable. Not only did I have a good

time, but also I knew something about foreign culture.

“Growing Pains” seems full of knowledge and experience. So it does because

all of us have growing pains and also growing gains in our lives.

Growing up is not a very enjoyable time. It means I have to work hard in

studying and in family. Theres always so much homework given by teachers and so

many arguments between the parents and me. The time is fair, but it seems it

gives pains three quarters and only one quarter to gains.

But gains give me power and confidence. Successes and friendship make me

happy and enjoyable. We played with snow in the winter that seldom snows, we

flew kites in the night that usually belongs to homework, we ate several ice

creams that almost made us cold. We picked up leaven that no longer high up!

Although pains are always more than gains, I believe both of them make my

life more colorful

Echo,my favourite teacher,is a pretty and slim lady.One of the most important reason that I like her is that she is very sincere.When she talks to others,she always has a smile on her face.

I think Echo is a natural teacher beacuse she has a lot of good methods on teaching.She is not only quite friendly ,but also humorous.Her class is full of fun that you have never feel bored.To improve our grades,she usually gives us some advices about how to learn English well.Whats more,she sacrificed her own time to help every student,no thought of gain.Sometimes,she nearly has no time to have lunch.When I ask her questions,she must spare no effort to make me understand,with patience and careness.I have never seen such a good teacher as her before.

A good teacher can point out the direction and give you endless strength when you get into trouble.Im lucky enough to have such a good teacher present to my life. Echo has a great inflence on me.Im thankful her help very much.

Some people say that campus life was boring, but I felt the school life is colorful.

Class, we discuss a fierce, comment on each other. Once, I had a fight with my classmates, for the sake of a problem we all were at sixes and sevens, reach a consensus. Later, we have solved the problem calmly, all made up. 既然我看中了“实”，那就会多了些“敌人”，与实相对的就是“虚”，看中“虚”的人就不乐意我了，因为我常常堵住了他们的嘴，让他们说出些“懒得和你说！”、“和你没有共同语言”之类的触及心灵的话语。他们说多了，也很烦、很累;我听得多了，压力也大。

单说“虚”，在我心中却，没有一个明确的概念可言，若真要强加一个定义，那就用“虚假”来谈吧，说直白点就是耍小聪明、不做好自己事的人;补服从安排不务正业的人，在我心中统统都是虚假的。他们常常有办不完的事，不论是好事，或是坏事。

再者，虚假的人大都是做事前大肆渲染自己的学问有多深、才能有多高，做事时却处处抱怨外部条件，怨天尤人，总之就是做不好事。但是他们也有独特的优点，那就是适时的幼稚：校园走廊上、树荫花园边以至于教室窄窄的巷道里，总少不了有他们的欢声笑语。笑，代表了他们内心的喜悦，时时处在幸福之中，不会顾及到下一步的忧患祸福、多么天真浪漫！我羡慕他们的那种心态，而那种心态，那种感觉在几年前就远离了我。

母亲出门打工也有些岁月了，她叫我放假时去她那儿耍，我和着笑答应了。

看到母亲的那一刻，我心中不禁一颤：眉头上的皱纹增多了，面颊瘦削、泛黄。她叫我时，我分明听见了她沙哑的声音，已不再是我童真时代、教我唱《世上只有妈妈好》的音乐天使般的声音了。

她告诉我她今天只上半天班，下班很早，怕我无聊，叫我和她一块去。怀着对外面精彩世界的憧憬，我欣然去了。

看见同学打成一片、笑成一团，唯独我喜欢特殊，不知自己是否落于人后。背后多有议论我古怪之类的，我也能理解。我很迷茫了：我还要坚守我的“实”吗？“虚”固然浅薄，但不可不有，“虚”人人有之，独我拒之于门外，就会有人看不起我，更不会有人理解我、懂我。若是以“实”为本质，“虚”为表现，那人们会不会透过表现看到本质呢？
