In recent years, a series of food safety incidents, such as melamine-tainted milk, lean meat powder, the dyed steamed buns, etc, have appeared across our country. As is vividly shown in the picture, the young wife is cooking. She is asking her husband whether he has finished checking the vegetables, and her husband answers that he needs one more step. 习惯虽然是个人的事，他人一般是无权干预的——比如你习惯做百灵鸟，早睡早起，我习惯做猫头鹰，昼伏夜出，甚至彻夜不眠，大家互不干预——但是，对习惯的评价，很多情况下还是有客观标准的。个人习惯被容忍的底线，是当你依习惯行事的时候，不影响别人的合法权益。否则你的习惯，便难以被道德甚至法律所许可。再进一步，对个人身体健康或者事业成功有益的习惯，会被认为是好习惯；反之就是坏习惯。坏习惯如果不损害别人的合法权益，也会被容忍，但是很难被认同，比如某人喜欢闭门抽烟写作的习惯等。

有人这样形容习惯：若不是最好的仆人，便是最差的主人。前者显然是指好的习惯，你可以驾驭他，使之为你服务；后者是坏习惯，你被他驾驭，他让你的状况越来越糟糕。

习惯既然是“长期逐渐养成的”，那多半是后天的产物。没有人天生是有条不紊的；也很难有人天生是乱糟糟的。但因为个人诸多的习惯中，很大一部分是社会习俗和风尚熏染的产物，而社会习俗和风尚的形成，必然有其客观性；故这些习惯，便不是你想怎么培养和改变就能怎样培养和改变了的。比如要让一个人养成日暮而作、日出而息的习惯，估计也难，甚至完全做不到。

关于习惯的养成，有一段妙譬：它有如纺纱，一开始只是一条细细的丝线，随着我们不断地重复相同的行为，就好像在原来那条丝线上不断缠上一条又一条丝线，最后它便成了一条粗绳，把我们的思想和行为给缠得死死的。可见习惯一旦养成之后，它就像在模型中硬化了的水泥块——很难打破了。

但俗话所说的“学好三年，学坏三天”，前者毋庸置疑——好的习惯，实难短时间养成；后者倒也未必。比如对一个信仰坚定的成年“好”人（如方志敏烈士），要让他学坏，甚至根本办不到，哪怕给你三年乃至一辈子时间去教养或者怂恿他。可见习惯一旦养成，其顽韧和巨大的力量，不容小觑。这也正是教育存在的必要所在。

恶习并非不能改变，虽然这改变是很难的。因为人毕竟是理性的动物，动之以情，晓之以理，改变之以方法，再假以时日，一个人就有可能成为新人。

China has the history of more than 5,000 years. Many foreign people are

attracted by this big old country. They come here and want to know about the

traditional culture. However, Chinese young people dont show much interest in

the old culture, instead they chase the fashion and some even abandon the

precious culture. For example, paper cutting, one of the excellent arts that is

inherited by our ancestors. Many foreign media speak highly of this great

handicraft and they are astonished by the wisdom of Chinese people. I have seen

this art when I stay in my hometown. Only few old people can do it. They just

take it for killing time. Paper cutting is like the old fashion and is forgotten

by the young generation. The media should report more positive information about

the traditional culture to inspire the young people to learn.

Florence is my favorite city.Its name in Italian means "the city of flowers".And it is located in central Italy.In the north of it are Careggi mountain and Rifredi mountain.Besides,there are always many fine days in Florence.During the 15th century to the 16th century,Florence was the most famous art center in Europe.It is the birthplace of Renaissance,many great artists were born here,like Dante.For me ,Florence has its special meaning.My favorite man who has been living in my heart for two years called Xiang Yutian.Since we first met,his dream is to go to Florence.But his dream failed to be realized until he lost his memory.It is such a great pity.So,if you havent still made up your mind,listen to me,go to Florence and hug the person you love.
