I live with my parents in the hometown, which is such a beautiful place for

me. Every day, I go to school with my friends. We talk so happily on the road.

After school, we go to the playground and play funny games. I live the happy

life and my childhood is simple, but it is the best situation for me.

Looking at the Great Wall, it is the brightest star in human history. In the earth, we can see the continuous Great Wall winding in the mountains; In the long history of history, we can see the time of the Great Wall. my father is a nice man. he likes to play computer games. he is

an owner of a factory which produces many things .he is good at designing. he

works very hard. i love him very much because, sometimes, i can help him to do

something in his factory .he is always on business trips because he has his

business everywhere so it takes up too much of his time .therefore, he doesn’t

have any time to play with me but i don’t blame him for that. i often spend a

lot of my time on the computer, so i have something to do. my mother is usually

on the phone and tells my father to get home early but my father doesn’t listen

to her. so my mother and i sometimes are upset and i don’t like my father in a

sense that he always gets home late.i love my father but not his

Last Sunday my classmates and I went to Xiangshan Park.

We met at 7 oclock at the school gate. The weather in Beijing that day was

great. At around 8 oclock, we arrived at Xiangshan Park. There is a high tree

on the bottom of the hill. We had a party and played games under the tree. Then

we climbed to the top of Xiangshan Mountain. It was not very difficult for us to

do it. Next, we had lunch at the top of the hill. It was delicious. After lunch,

we saw some birds. They were friendly. And we saw a whole picture of Beijing.

"What a beautiful city!" I said. At that moment, we all felt so proud. I live in

Beijing now. The 2008 Olympic games was held here.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for a British Council scholarship to study in

Britain. I did my five years basic training in medicine at Shanghai University.

After this I successfully completed a one-year postgraduate course in

Ophthalmology at the Peoples General Hospital, where I am at present serving a

two-year probation in the Eye Clinic.

As a result of the publication in 2003 of my article in New Scientist

entitled "Soft and Rigid Contact Lenses ", which was based on a survey of 37

patients over 6 months, I made contact with Dr. Li Ming of the Capital Hospital

and Dr. Ma Li of the University College Hospital. I have received their help and

advice with my current research project, which is a two-year survey of the

acceptance of various types of contact lenses in 200 patients.

Despite their help, I feel that I cannot make real progress in this field

unless I can actually have day-to-day contact with these specialists. I would

therefore like to continue my research at either the Capital Hospital or the UCH

as soon as my probationary period here is completed, and I would like to study

in Britain for two years.

I enclose a detailed curriculum vitae and an offprint of my article,

together with two letters of recommendation from Dr. Li Ming and Dr. Ma Li.

Your letter and package reached me yesterday. You really give me a great surprise. I was wondering what was in such a nice package until I carefully opened it and found that you sent me an attractive present for my birthday. Thank you very much for your kindness, and I like the present, which will give me pleasure for a long time to come.

Again it is thoughtful of you to send me the present on my birthday. Yesterday evening my colleagues held a birthday party for me, including John Liu---I think you can remember---a nice tall boy, who invited you and I to his birthday last October. Animals are our friends, they live together with us on the same planet, we

should take care and protect them, and they let us know we do not know many of

the knowledge.

When we want to animal fur and all the time, until you want to protect you

when they have been cruel extinction, and animal protection is to protect

My favorite animals are swans.they are white.they can swim very well.I

think they look like a beautiful girl in a white dress.they have a pair of wings

and they can also fly well.I believe they are angles from the sky.they bring us

love and make us happy.they are always friendly to us.We cant hurt them，because

they are our friend.I love them!I like dogs，too.they are not beautiful，but they

are the best friends.they keep the thieves away.Dogs have the best listening and

As a child, when people give me the things to play or eat, I will be very
