西瓜最常见的吃法就是把它切开当水果吃。除了这种吃法，还可以把瓜瓤切成小块，做成拔丝西瓜，吃起来外焦里嫩，也非常好吃。姥姥还经常把西瓜皮洗干净，切成丝，和青椒丝一起炒，吃起来更是别有一番清爽的味道。另外，西瓜皮还能美白，我妈妈有时还把西瓜皮敷在脸上，还能做美容呢。

西瓜不仅爽甜可口，而且还有很高的营养和医用价值。

西瓜除了不含脂肪外，它的汁液几乎包含了人体所需要的各种营养成分。盛夏酷暑来临的时候，我经常会心烦意乱，急躁不安，有时热得连饭都吃不下去，吃适量的西瓜，还可以使人体所需营养得到补充。
