However, many of us fail to realize that forests are the lungs of the

blindly; try to find some clear energy that can replace oil and coal. But these

solutions can be impractical to some degreed.

Why trees can be so important to the whole nature? First of all, trees are

the habitat of many animals. When we cut down trees, we not only destroy

animals’ habitats but also ourselves. We just gradually destroy natural links.

The result is that many spices of animals and plants are dying out. Secondly,

cutting down trees cause global warming, to some degree. Naturalists compare

forest to human’s lungs. The forests absorb the carbon dioxide and other gas

that cause global warming, and then give off the oxygen that good for the human

beings and other living creatures. It’s refreshed the air as well as reduced the

noise. If the air quality is bad, people may die from cancers, or the new

diseases for which they have no immunity. Forests also play an important role in

the prevention of natural disasters. Warmer temperatures cause water to expand

and also create more water by melting polar ice caps. That’s to say, the nations

which near the ocean may have been flooded by the water. But the forests can

prevent water loss and soil erosion, and cool off the global temperatures. It’s

the key to keep the balance of the nature.

Sometimes people only care about money making; they don’t care about the

price we pay for the pollution. When the disaster is around the corner, we may

be afraid and frustrated. The earth, on which our economies have always been

based, is suddenly threatening our existence. All we hope that is this

overpopulated, over industrialized planet can carry on for a longer time. And

maybe, it’s time for us to realize that we should protect the earth, stop

cutting down trees blindly and madly.

明天就是教师节，今天下午，我的脑海里浮现出一个问题："该送老师什么礼物呢?"

In my humble opinion, everybody should join in this campaign. As we all know, the Chinese traditional virtue is to be thrifty even we are live in a better life. According to the latest survey, more than 50 million tons of food is being dumped in China every year. This wasted food can feed about 200 million people for a year. The old generation usually appreciates the leftover, if there is any food in the plate, they will eat them up; while the younger generation will dump the leftovers into the dustbin, they rather spend the money on other food instead of eating leftovers. I think such behavior is not only waste of food and money, but also broadcast the wrong idea that wasting food is acceptable. People should come to realize the importance of saving food. The governments should also take measures to reduce food wastage and encourage people to eat at home. What’s more, people should put an end to the expensive feasts and banquets.

I think this campaign should be moving on. Saving food for our offspring is everybody’s responsibility. Even if you’re a wealthy man, you still need to eat up the food on your plate. Waste is not a good habit.

If an entrance fee must be paid by the visitors for a park, it will be necessary to build a gate and surrounding walls. In the end a city will take on a bad look. 40% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee can be accepted, but it must not be too expensive. computer in every family is more than TV set. Some people think it is so great

correct, but if we can use computer in a proper way, its advantages are superior

to disadvantages. I have several reasons.

On the one hand, computer makes human beings’ life become easier. People

can do many things that they can’t do before. They can read newspaper without

buying it, only sitting in front of their computer, clicking mouse to open

website. Shopping online, watching movies, listening music and play computer

games are the common things that people often do by computer. But without

computer, they can’t do all these easily. In addition, computer is also very

helpful for study and work. People can have classes and work on it.

On the other hand, computer has so many attractive things that some people

will be addicted to it. Some of them may busy finding funs on it, and then

ignore their real duty, such as, study and work. As a result, it will have great

金秋九月，愉快的暑假结束了，我们怀着喜悦的心情回到了美丽的校园。再过几天就是教师节了，大家不约而同地聚在一起商量怎样庆祝教师节，此情此景不禁让我想起了去年教师节的情景……

我们的班主任朱老师循循善诱，教学有方，针对我们班基础差，学习没有自信的情况，朱老师想出了一个妙招。她在班里物色了十名品学兼优的学生。让我们给那些后进生当小老师;我们初为人师，兴奋异常。而且我们的组员都是我们自己选择的好朋友。就这样，我们既学习了知识，又增进了友谊。在第二学期的统考中，我们这个倒数第一的班级一跃成为年级第二名。

转眼间，教师节就要到了。为了庆祝我们取得的好成绩，我们决定好好的庆祝一下，可是怎么庆祝呢?朱老师在前几天就再三警告我们不许花钱，因为我们还都是消费者。正当大家一筹莫展的时候，班长提出了个好的建议：“我们大家自己用丝带和塑料包装纸每人做一束花，再做一个贺卡，上面写上我们对老师的祝福和自己下学期的努力方向。”我们一听都非常高兴，结果全票通过。

期待的日子一转眼就来到了，第一节课就是英语课，朱老师迈着轻快的步伐走进了教室。还没等我们开口，朱老师却笑着说：“今天是教师节，我祝咱们班的小老师节日快乐，祝同学们百尺竿头，更进一步!”“啊!”我们都有些丈二和尚摸不着头脑。老师看我们迷惑的样子连忙解释说：“我们这次统考取得了优异的成绩，我尤其要感谢的是咱们班的十名小老师，这十个小小的作业本就是我送给你们的节日礼物。大家辛苦了。”大家都深受感动，班里响起了热烈的掌声。

在热烈的掌声中。班长手捧着我们精心制作的鲜花和贺卡走上讲台，老师用颤抖的手打开同学们的贺卡，忍不住大声读了起来：“老师，您辛苦了，我下学期争取挤进前十名，敬爱的老师，您就像妈妈一样关心我们，我争取英语成绩考过110，亲爱的老师，我们会更加努力，祝您节日快乐，永葆青春……”老师手捧鲜花，动情地读着，此时，老师的声音渐渐哽咽了，我分明看见了老师眼角的泪光闪动着喜悦的光芒。
