The first thing we can do is to use cloth bags in stead of plastic bags when we go shopping. It helps to protect the environment. The second thing we can do is to reuse the old textbooks as possible as we can. We should also never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the classrooms in order to save energy. Recently almost all eyes are on one issue,that is,environmental protection.All of us know,man is constantly aware of the influence of the nature in the form of the air he breathes,the water he drinks,and the food he eats.In my opinion,we are connected with nature by”blood”ties and we cannot live outside nature.

However,as society develops,the environment where human beings live has changed a lot.Forests were destroyed and the area of farmland increased.Water was severely polluted.And mass production has resulted in the shortage of irreplaceable natural resources such as coal and oil.So if we take no effective actions to solve these problems,human beings will be the next species to be extinct.

So we should spare no effort to protect our environment,and what can we do?We can plant trees,take care of wildlife,reduce industrial waste and use renewable energy.And our government should make laws to protect our environment.Only in these ways,can we live a healthy life.
