锤炼淡泊名利的心性。“非淡泊无以明志，非宁静无以致远”，文艺工作者不能简单地把文艺创作视为赖以谋生的手段，更不能作为沽名钓誉的工具。当前我国的文艺创作可以说进入了一个前所未有的丰沛期，但量的增长并不代表质的提高，真正有情怀、打动人心的作品还不多。文艺评论家毛时安感慨：“在相当多的剧作中，我们看不到艺术家的个人冲动，却可以一眼看出遵命之作、受命之作的明显痕迹，看到赚钱捞钱的强烈欲望和非审美的功利欲望冲动。”这种现象值得我们深思。在市场经济的大潮中，文艺工作者不能随波逐流，而应志存高远、淡泊名利，把浮躁的心静下来，认真严肃考虑作品的社会效果，这才是一名文艺工作者应该有的使命和担当。
