The Father and His Son

Father had a family of sons who were perpetually quarrelling among themselves. When he failed to heal their disputes by his exhortations, he determined to give them a practical illustration of the evils of disunion; and for this purpose he one day told them to bring him a bundle of sticks. When they had done so, he placed the faggot into the hands of each of them in succession, and ordered them to break it in pieces. They each tried with all their strength, and were not able to do it.

my daily life

此词是李清照前期的作品，当作于婚后不久。题名为元人伊世珍作的《琅嬛记》引《外传》云：“易安结缡未久，明诚即负笈远游。易安殊不忍别，觅锦帕书《一剪梅》词以送之。”而现代词学家王仲闻编著的《李清照集校注》卷一提出了不同意见：“清照适赵明诚时，两家俱在东京，明诚正为太学生，无负笈远游事。此则所云，显非事实。而李清照之父称为李翁，一似不知其名者，尤见芜陋。《琅嬛记》乃伪书，不足据。”

根据李清照带有自传性的《金石录后序》所言，宋徽宗建中靖国元年（1101年）李清照嫁与赵明诚，婚后伉俪之情甚笃，有共同的兴趣爱好。而后其父李格非在党争中蒙冤，李清照亦受到株连，被迫还乡，与丈夫时有别离。这不免勾起她的许多思念之情，写下了多首词篇，这首《一剪梅》是其中的代表作。

Some people say yes. The intemet helps students make many friends. Chatting on line, students can express their feelings and opinions more freely, and even get help with their foreign language studies.Others, however, think students should not make friends on line.They say it is a waste of time. besides, some students get cheated on line.

It is my opinion that students should place their study, health and safety before other things. As for friendship, we can readily find it in our classmates and other people around us.

Save the Wild Animals

Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.

Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

保护野生动物

许多野生动物正面临绝种的危险，因为它们生活的环境发生了极大的变化。譬 如，随着城市的发展，杀虫剂的使用和严重的污染，野生动物的生活区域变得越来越狭小。许多野生动物目前正面临着食物方面的危机。同时，为了获取野生动物的毛、皮、角、牙齿和肉，人类正在屠杀野生动物。

为了保护生态资源，人们应当意识到任何物种的缺失，至少意味着知识资源和自然美的缺失。因此，应采取以下措施：制订污染标准以降低有毒物质;严禁杀害某些稀有物种;应建立国家公园作为野生动植物保护区。

我们只有采取一些有力措施，才能保护野生动物。

Environment protection

Today,I went to the park with my mother,when we walking along the lake,I

saw a couple was siting on the bench at the edge of lake, eating snacks and

casting the packaging into the lake.I was so anger to see that!I think their

behavir is very shameful.The park is a place for all citicens to enjoy beautiful

scenery ，not a place for them to cast rubbish casually.All of us should take

actions to protect our environment,only in this way can we have a clean and

beautiful world.

《破窑赋》是北宋大臣吕蒙正的作品。相传此赋是作者为了劝诫太子而创作的。作者以自己从贫苦到富贵的经历，并列举了历史上诸多名人的起伏命运，来说明一种自然循环的人生思想。

吕蒙正(944或946—1011)，北宋大臣。字圣功，洛阳(今属河南省)人。公元977年(宋太宗太平兴国二年)丁丑科状元。授将作监丞，通判升州。再著作郎，入值史馆。公元980年(太平兴国五年)，拜左补阙，知制诰。后任参知政事。公元988年(端拱元年)，拜为宰相。为人质厚宽简，素有重望，以正道自持，遇事敢言。每论时政，有不允者，必不强力推行。与开国元老赵普同在相位，关系极为融洽。公元991年(淳化二年)，贬为吏部尚书。两年后复以本官入相。公元995年(至道元年)，再度罢相。真宗即位，任命吕蒙正为左仆射。公元1001年(咸平四年)，第三次登上相位。后封莱国公，授太子太师。不久，因病辞官，回归故里。卒谥文穆，赠中书令。

创作背景

吕蒙正出身贫寒，深刻体会穷人的苦难，所以读书勤奋、工作勤奋、爱民勤奋。他年轻的时候，曾经和寇准一起在破窑读书，体会了人间冷暖，后来，做了宰相，更体会到人心的宠辱。所以他写了一段《破窑赋》。

《破窑赋》系吕蒙正之《劝世章》，又称《寒窑赋》。由于受传统观影响太深，有人认为吕蒙正的思想过于保守消极，因此吕蒙正的许多文章典籍都已失落，而在《吕文穆公传》中这首破窑赋被看作是吕蒙正的经典之作。相传当初是为教化太子而作此文的。吕蒙正曾三次入相，兼任太子的老师。当时太子(后来的宋真宗)青春年少，目中无人，没有哪个太师敢当面教训太子。吕蒙正决定写一篇文章，来告诫太子。于是写了这篇《破窑赋》。这篇文章，虽然内容短小，但是却包含了无穷智慧，聪明的太子一下子就懂得其中的道理。据说太子读过此文后，一改常态，常虚心向他人请教。
