香格里拉，意为“心中的日月”，是无数人向往的世外桃源。晚上，我们在宾馆里睡了一觉，导游说早上要早起，因为游客很多去迟了要排队很久。第二天一大早，天还没有亮，我们团队就早早的出发了。来到了租东西的地方。几乎人人都租了一件又大又厚的大外套。还有不少人租了氧气瓶。继续前进，来到了景区—普达措国家森林公园。进入景区，坐到一辆大巴士上，前往第一个观景点。途中导游向我们介绍着。景点里有辽阔的高山草原牧场、莽莽的原始森林以及星罗棋布的高山湖泊。我望着窗外，只见一幅美丽的原始森林展开在我的面前，真是与世隔绝，人间仙境。和谐、宁静充斥着整个森林，不愧是人们向往的神秘国度。到了观景点，只见水天一色，山倒影在水上，似乎连成一线。大家都拿出照相机拍着。我们又前往高山牧场。到了那儿，看见连绵不绝的山峰之中有一大块草原，星星点点的牦牛在上面吃草，还有一户藏族人家住在那儿。好一幅人间仙境啊!好像感觉回到了与世隔绝的桃源生活。

最后一个目的地是洱海。其实洱海是一个湖，只是因为它太大了，所以当地人把它当成海，又因为它的形状像只耳朵，所以被称为洱海。我们坐着可以容纳上千人的大游轮在洱海上游玩。在游船上欣赏了具有民族特色的白族三道茶表演。还品尝了三道茶，三道茶的味道是一苦二甜三回味。妈妈说这就像我们的生活一样，只有通过辛苦的劳动才会得到香甜的果实，明白了这个道理才会回味我们的生活。

Many Americans who usually visit family and friends by plane are driving shorter distances instead this week. Some mental health experts say the attacks have frightened people. They say people feel safer and happier close to home. More than any other holiday, Thanksgiving is a celebration of family and home. Many people say that this year they are especially thankful for their families and friends and the good things in their lives. On Thanksgiving, people enjoy a long day of cooking, eating and talking. The traditional meal almost always includes the turkey with a bread mixture cooked inside. Other traditional Thanksgiving food served with turkey are sweet potatoes, cranberries and pumpkin pie. 结束了大理的游玩又开始了丽江之行。

我们的第一个游玩景点是丽江古城。由于丽江古城已被商业过度开发了（妈妈说的），丽江古城已经没有几栋能展现古代小镇风貌的房屋了。唯一能展现的就只有木府。木府在丽江相当于古代的皇宫，是古代丽江最高统治者——土司居住的地方。丽江古城的其他地方已经没什么好讲的了，因为它已经没有古代的那种生活气息了。

下一个目的地是玉龙雪山，在丽江纳西族人把玉龙雪山称为圣山。到现在还没有一个登山队能成功登上玉龙雪山的顶峰。玉龙雪山脚下是一望无际的草原。

我们在丽江的最后一个游览地是束河古镇。束河古镇里有三眼井。在古代的时候人们就已经懂得了环保。第一眼井里的水是用来饮用的，水流到第二眼井用来洗菜，剩下的水流到第三眼井用来洗衣服。真是佩服他们！

Now I’m studying in Hunan First Normal College, which is Chairman Mao’s former school. I major in English, because I find it so fun and interesting. As far as I’m concerned, our English Department is the best department in our college. The teachers in our department are knowledgeable, experienced, and warm-hearted. And my classmates are nice, friendly and helpful. Thus, I have a good atmosphere to study. When I have difficulties in study, I always ask my teachers for help or discuss with my classmates. Through their help, I have made great progress in my English study.

我现在在湖南第一师范学校学习，这是主席之前呆过的学校。我的专业是英语，因为我觉得它很有趣。我觉得我们英语系是我校最好的学部。我们系的老师知识渊博，经验丰富，热心肠。我的同学们也很和蔼，友好，乐于助人。因此，我拥有一个很好的学习氛围。当我在学习上遇到困难时，我总是向我的老师寻求帮助或与同学讨论。在他们的帮助下，我在英语学习上取得了很大的进步。

College life is much different from high school life. In college, we should acquire knowledge as well as improve our integrated abilities. There are a lot of English classes for us to learn, such as Basic English, Oral English, Listening, Reading, Writing, Translation, Grammar, English Literature, and so on. I enjoy these classes very much. Except English, we have many other subjects to learn. Life seems so busy here but it’s so fruitful for me.

大学生活与高中生活有很大的不同。在大学，我们要获取知识也要提高我们的综合能力。我们要上很多的英语课，比如，基础英语，英语口语，听力阅读，写作，翻译，语法，英语文学等。我非常喜欢这些课。除英语外，我们还要学习很多其他科目。在这里生活是如此的忙碌，但这对我来说是如此丰硕的收获。

After class, I usually go to the English Corner. There I can practice my oral English by talking with foreigners or chatting with my schoolmates. Now, I’m able to communicate with foreigners well. Sometimes I also take part in some social activities. For instance, last weekend I attended an interesting play. As it was my first performance, I felt a little nervous at the beginning. But when I appeared on the stage, I made every audience laugh happily. I was so proud of myself at that moment, because this was my first achievement.

下课后，我经常去英语角。在那里我可以通过与外国人或我的同学聊天来练习我的英语口语。现在我可以很好的和外国人交流了。有时候我也可以参加一些社交活动。例如，上周我参加了一个有趣的表演。因为是我第一次表演，所以一开始的时候我觉得有点紧张。但当我出现在舞台上时，我让每一个观众都开心的笑了。在那一刻，我为我自己感到骄傲，因为这是我的第一个收获。

If you want to ask me why we should study English, my answer will be simple and clear. Now let me enumerate the reasons one by one in the following.In the first place, English has become an international language. If you know English, you van make a trip round the world without being misunderstood.In the second place, most valuable books, newspapers and magazines are written in English. If you wish (hope) to get knowledge, you must learn English.

如果你要问我们为什么我们要学英文。我的答复很简单明了。现在让我来把我的理由一一列举在下面：英文已成为一种国际语言。如果你通晓它，你可以环游世界不会被人误解。大多数有价值的书籍，报纸和杂志都是用英文写的。如果你希望获得知识，你必须学习英文。

几年前的一个夜晚，我躺在床上，听妈妈给我讲故事，听着听着，我很向往书中的美景。慢慢地，我进入了甜甜的梦乡。第二天一早，我就去问妈妈：“妈妈，书上这么美丽的地方在哪里?”“在云南!!”妈妈回答道。从此以后，云南成了我心中的天堂。

今天是阳光明媚的一天，也是我盼望已久的一天，应为我要去云南的梦想就要实现了。

我们还在去云南的飞机上，云南就给了我们一个惊喜——天空中漂浮着的白云美极了!有时，云厚极了，像一层厚被似的遮住了太阳，太阳只好给云镶上一条闪闪亮的金边，好像告诉我们他在那儿似的;有时云薄极了，阳光透过云层的缝隙直射下来没，像千万朵闪着金光的长剑，云也应为借了阳光变成了黄色，艳丽极了。

下了飞机，来到大理，我们准备乘船绕湖一圈，欣赏秀丽洱海风光。

我们迫不及待地来到了洱海码头，乘上古色古香的小船，前往小岛。在小船上，我们边前往小岛，边欣赏洱海美丽的风光。洱海的风光要从不同的角度欣赏，因为角度不同，美景也不同。从这个角度看， 明媚的阳光溶入湖面，犹如万点星光，泛起万顷银波，再加上鱼儿的表演——鱼儿不时高高地跃出水面，好像在跳自己的舞蹈。再从哪个角度看，干净透明的湖面与碧蓝的天空融为一体，突然，几声清脆的鸟鸣声打破了宁静，但让这景色更美了

当我如痴如醉的时候，导游说：“我们回宾馆休息吧!!”听了导游的话，我只好依依不舍地离开了洱海。

第二天，我们整装待发，去了玉龙雪山。

乘上索道，前往山顶。到了山顶，我们看到近处遍地都有盛开的黄花，藏族的民居，苍翠欲滴的大树和高大挺拔的竹子，这似乎是一幅美丽的图画;远处群山起伏，就像凝固的波涛，又像一个任重道远的旅人，迈着坚实的脚步，向远处的无际走去;更远处，影影绰绰的群山像一个睡意未醒的仙女，披着蝉翼般的薄纱，脉脉含情，凝眸不语。

很多人都在欣赏雪山的美。老爷爷嘴角微动，好像在与大山窃窃私语;老奶奶边看边点头，好像在赞叹山的秀丽;小伙子双目炯炯有神，好像在与山比英雄气概;姑娘微微含笑，好像在与山比美;小朋友跳起来欢呼，好像在与山嬉戏。阿!这儿真美啊!把魂都要迷住了。

im nickole. im 24. i graduated from hunan normal universaty on shuda campus. my major is english education. after graduation, i have worked for one year in li yang听kids engish. my students are between 5 and 12 years old.

im outgoing and open-minded. in my spare time, i have broad interests. such as reading, surfing the internet, listening to music and even chatting with foreign friends online if possible. i like children very much. i think children are active, innocent and pure. with them, i feel very relaxed, plesant and younger. therefore, i learned a lot from my one year working experence.

teaching children english is very interested but it is also challeging. because children are always active, even sometimes very naughty. so teachers need a lot of patience to deal with children. the most important that i have learned from my one year teacing experence is that a teacher should have the kind of听the mind that always wants to go on learning. teaching is a job at which one will never be perfet. if i have the chance, i will try my best to be a good primary english teacher.
