A week before Earth Day, posters were put up around our school, calling upon us to join in the actions for a greener earth.

Our class came up with the idea to make better use of used materials. A recent survey has been conducted on whether parents feel honored about their children in Zhonghua School. What is symbolically depicted in the bar chart above is that 80% parents regard their children as pride, while, to our surprise, only 60 in every hundred students hold the same viewpoint.

Such a striking contrast is there between the two perspectives that it reveals a common phenomenon. Parents and children hold different attitudes towards the issue. From where I am standing, two reasons are responsible for the finding.

First and foremost, with the increasingly fierce competition, teenagers are prone to suffering from the sense of inferiority. What additionally frustrates the children is peer pressure from parents. ４、决定胜负的铜钱

When we read newspapers, we often come across the word pollution. This word was not familiar to the people some decades ago. But now, it is a serious threat to us because.it means the poisoning of the air, seas, rivers and lands, which would do harm to our health.

There are many factories that bring pollution to us. We can not have fresh air in the morning. This is mainly because of the poisonous smoke coming from factories, especially chemical ones. In rivers, seas and oceans, there are industrial wastes. Some factories just throw their wastes into seas or let them flow into rivers. 想起父母家房子拆迁，几次的搬家、租房我们几乎都没出力，后来房子装修也是我爸自己操持的。大表姐有次说：俺舅那么大年纪了，装修的事你们让他自己弄，太操心了……

这是十年前的事了。每每想起，就觉得自己很没用，很不孝顺;每每想到爸妈拒绝我们的帮助，就觉得很“受伤”。后来也是看到一篇文章，就释然了。

台大外文系刘毓秀教授接到小区警卫的数落电话：“教授，你九十岁的爸爸刚刚扛着一包米经过小区大门，外人看了都不忍心，你们是怎么当儿女的?”

刘教授说：“最好的孝顺，就是不孝。”日本作家岸见一郎在他的新书《面对父母老去的勇气》一书中，提到当父母老了，子女应该找机会，换一种方式来爱他。我的方式就是，“有事，弟子不服其劳。”刘教授，现在子女被传统孝道捆绑，眼见父母衰老，为了降低罪恶感，就找外佣来照料，陪着走路、喂食、打理，让老人自理能力越来越差。

我爸妈都没读过这样的文章，却是这种理论的践行者——自立、自理、尊严。

前些日子有个读者在后台发来很长的留言。她公婆家在外地，结婚后自己住得离父母很近，由于父母重男轻女，并不帮自己照顾刚生的小孩。因为父母家的琐事，也导致老公不满，决定回自己家乡，她又要照看刚生下的小孩，又要照顾母亲(父亲在外地打工，她觉得五十多岁的母亲需要照顾)，又焦虑要不要跟老公一起回家乡，半年多瘦了二十多斤……

我当时只是简单地回复了几句话：要跟你老公好好沟通，谈谈自己的感觉;要相信父母有能力照顾好自己……你该过自己的生活。

我有个前同事春节前刚生了二宝。记得当年她辞职时我俩面谈，我问：你爸妈知道你(想)辞职的事吗?

她说：我跟我老公商量好了。辞职的事，不用跟我爸妈说，他们年纪也大了。

我当时就立刻反省了自己的心智模式。觉得她年纪虽然比我轻，但在这方面却成熟的多。是啊，自己已经成年了、成家了，该为自己负责了，辞职这样的事为什么还要报告父母?

李中莹老师曾讲过父母的责任是：帮孩子——自己照顾自己，给世界一份正面影响。

人的一生，从小到大，得到足够成长的标志可不就是“自己照顾自己”?

孩子能够“自己照顾自己”，是做父母的一分欣慰;父母年老之时能够“自己照顾自己”，是做子女的一种福气。

“自己照顾好自己”，才是对家人最好的爱。

直面失败，就是直面我们的思想，我们要在突然来临的失败面前保持清醒的头脑。我们绝不能被失败击倒，丧失了斗志进而自暴自弃。

直面失败，就是我们用笑容来覆盖我们心灵的伤痕。我们微笑，是因为我们斗志不灭；我们微笑，是因为我们的青春激荡着热情；我们微笑，是因为我们懂得人生的道路上除了有鲜花与掌声，也有沼泽和陷阱。

直面失败，你才有悬崖勒马，改变你错误的抉择，重新选择目标，重新调整方位，用我们的坚强与毅力和未来再作一次拼搏。

直面失败，赶走心灵上空弥漫的阴云惨雾，擦去我们写在脸上的忧伤，然后唱着郑智化的歌：他说风雨中／这点痛算什么／擦干泪不要怕／至少我们还有梦，继续赶我们的路。

让我们直面失败，直面坎坷，蔑视这生活中的绊脚石吧!

例2失败

(一)楚汉相争，大小战役数百，刘邦屡战屡败，危急之时以致一骑独遁，然而最后。刘邦逼得项羽自刎乌江。尽管后人对这位帝王颇有微词，但我认为他能在一次次失败中，吸取教训，愈战愈勇，终成帝业，不失为一代人杰。——失败是一种成长。

(二)“苦心人，天不负，卧薪尝胆，三千越甲可吞吴。”越王勾践曾败到何种地步?为夫差驾车，为一马夫!而他却能忍辱负重，回国后卧薪尝胆之外，还令人在宫门外，每日见到他都高唱：“勾践啊!你难道忘了耻辱吗?”

正是这种卧薪尝胆的决心，使他打败了吴国，雄霸一方。——失败是一种决绝。

(三)有一位老人，53岁，政府已嫌他老了，早早送来抚养金。他生意失败，穷困潦倒，妻子离异，苦不堪言。然而，他没有垂下双手，而是握紧拳，举起手，用强而有力的姿势说：“我不甘心!”然后用一笔退休金办起了快餐店，而他，就是今日闻名于世的肯德基连锁店的创始人。——失败是一份创业的宣言。

(四)名落孙山，落寞乘船。想着数年寒窗艰辛，却落得孤寂归乡的下场。行至姑苏，来到寒山寺，领悟了人生，放下了心头阴影，却扬起了蓬勃的诗情——说到这里，大家已经知道，我说的是张继和他的《枫挢夜泊》。——失败是一首千古绝唱。

(五)我又想起了苏东坡，一个曾经风光一时的大名人，才华横溢，身边除了赞誉还是赞誉。

当他从“成功”的顶峰跌落而下，一直摔到了黄州赤壁，稍稍做了调整，就用《念奴娇·赤壁怀古》和前后《赤壁赋》向世人宣告了他的“文化突围”的成功!——失败是从表象成功到实质成功的必由之路。

(六)高耸的珠穆朗玛峰是伟峻的，因为它埋葬了无数前来朝拜者的尸骨；阿姆斯特朗的一小步是意义巨大的，因为有“挑战者”号的陨落；横渡太平洋的航道是威严的，因为它淹没了无数的渡海探险者。——失败是成功的衬托。

(七)废墟也是一种美——一种残缺的美，它昭示着失败，激励着成功。

因而圆明园激励着中华民族的奋斗；耶路撒冷的“哭墙”激励着犹太民族的奋斗。——失败是一种鞭策。

面对着这些失败，这些遗憾而伟大的失败，我们应当静·心思考了：我们的“失败”还能称之为“失败”吗?还应当为它注上“气馁”吗?

例3平静如金

鸟儿的双翼划过了天空，平静的踪迹便留在了天空；

鱼儿的尾巴摇进了水草，平静的踪迹便留在了水底；

我的眼睛映入了三个故事，平静的踪迹便留在了我的心灵：

(一)梵志持花献佛，佛云：“放下。”梵志放下左手之花。佛又道：“放下。”梵志又放下了右手之花。佛还是说：“放下。”梵志道：“我手中之花都已放下了，还有何可放?”佛曰：“放下你的外六尘、内六根、中六识，一直舍去，舍至无可舍处，是汝放生命处。”这是一则禅语。本意是说心灵愈是平静，愈是朴素自然，愈容易修得正果，大彻大悟。

我常想象着如梵志般见佛，只不过右手持“成”，左手持“败”。想我放下成败，放下外六尘、内六根、中六识之时，成功之花必已在心间绽放。

古龙说：“越是怕死的人往往越容易死；越是不怕死的人却往往不会死。”越是害怕失败、渴望成功的人也许越容易与成功擦肩。

(二)1914年冬季的一天，一场大火烧着了爱迪生的实验室，这无疑意味着，他操劳一生才得到的多项研究成果将在无情的大火中化为灰烬。当大火烧得最凶时，爱迪生的儿子发了疯似的在滚滚浓烟中寻找着父亲。他看到了什么呢?67岁的爱迪生正平静地看着大火，任满头的白发在冷风中飞扬。他极其平静地对儿子说：“快!快去叫你妈妈，她恐怕一辈子都见不到这样的场面。”

读着这则故事，我不觉怦然惊动：平静原来是一种勇气。

只有平静的心灵，才有勇气面对挫折，把失望看作是“生活的调味剂”，才能经受住生活的打击，从而尽情地享受生命。

范仲淹说：“不以物喜，不以己悲。”也正因为他有平静的心灵。

平静而生的勇气，如此壮丽。

(三)诸葛孔明被司马仲达追得急了，便打开了城门，还坐在城头上弹琴。谋士劝仲达直捣黄龙，仲达日：“尔听孔明之琴声，悠悠然如高山流水，心定如山，必有依靠。退!”于是，大军如潮，来去匆匆，孔明逃过了一劫。

“心定如山”，换句话说，就是“平静如水”。可见，平静也是一种智慧。

出击时，心灵平静，才能看准时机，一击必中。“小李飞刀”便是理想化的形象。

防守时，心灵平静，才能迷敌心目，捕捉战机。“孔明空城退仲达”是一理想化的例子。而在现实当中，许许多多成功的例子背后，也必有一颗平静的、无牵无挂的心灵以及由平静而生的智慧。

三篇文章均属议论文，但写法又各不相同。例l在提出议论的话题后，开始全方位多角度阐述该如何面对挫折失败。或引用，或比喻，或运用因果句，或运用排比句，从正确的对待挫折失败的方法、作用等方面作了精辟的论述，可谓段段精警，处处深透。

例2采用了“脚注”这一独特的表现形式，全文共由七个事例构成，而七个事例的每一个“脚注”都是一个警句，它们或从失败本身的作用，或从失败与成功的关系上，通过不同角度揭示了“失败”的作用。而这一切又都是为结尾铺垫蓄势，最后由分到总，水到渠成地完成了论证。无论是从结构形式上，还是从警句作结的写法上，都值得我们学习模仿。

例3虽也是议论文，但的则是形象化的叙述，这是一种以具体陈述替代理性观点、化抽象为形象的特殊写法。

三个故事后则是由警句组成的点评，它们与前两篇文章又有所不同。它是结合引用，阐述了平静在胜与败中的作用二写得既形象深刻，又生动具体。
