I went to the home for the aged with my friends on July 30th. As soon as

清明节到了，我与其他同学一起在老师的带领下，到烈士陵园去给英雄扫墓。

经过十几分钟的车程，我们到达了陵园大门口，下车后，老师先给我们每人发了一束鲜花，然后给我们讲解了进入陵园后的注意事项，特别强调不能笑，要严肃一点。我忍不住问老师：“为什么要一脸严肃?“老师说：”清明节是祭奠英雄的日子，表达对他们的怀恋和敬重，所以必须严肃!“听完老师的话，我们便自觉排队进入陵园扫墓了。

首先是向英雄献花。同学们双手捧着鲜花，一脸严肃的慢慢绕墓碑一圈，在每一座墓碑前都要深深的鞠一躬，以表达我们对英雄崇高的敬意，最后将鲜花放在烈士们的周围。

献花完毕后，我们又听了守墓人陈伯伯给我们讲了其中一位英雄的事迹。英雄出生在一个贫穷的家庭，为了将他养大，父母可是忍受了种种饥饿。后来英雄长大了，国家却处于危难时刻，他毫不犹豫的报名参军了，在战场上，他总是在最危险的时候冲在前面，很不幸，在后来的一次战斗中被敌人俘掳并残忍杀害了。听完英雄的事迹，我的泪水在眼眶里打转。

活动结束后在回家的车上，我的脑海里不断浮现出在陵园里的每一块墓碑，还有陈伯伯讲的关于英雄的事迹，让我明白了一个道理：我们今天的幸福生活来之不易，是无数个先烈用青春和热血换来的，我们不仅要珍惜，也要铭记历史，以告慰那些在天堂里的英雄。

清明节的前几天，我校组织部分师生代表去芷江烈士陵园扫墓。

阳光明媚，如柳如丝地晒在大地上，我们乘着大巴车来到了庄严肃穆的烈士陵园。剿匪烈士墓周围环境很幽静，小树伸展着枝叶，吮吸着春天的甘露，守护着剿匪烈士。

我们来到剿匪烈士墓前，一边看一边了解这些为了我们今天幸福生活而长眠于地下的剿匪烈士的生前感人事迹，我置身于英雄陵园中，仰望那一排排一列列高耸的烈士墓碑，每座墓碑的碑文上方，都镶砌了一颗见棱见角的红色五角星，远远望去，一座座墓碑就像一个个身穿戒装整装待发的战士，在这里集合待命，等待点名，随时准备出发战场。

思绪的僵绳把我拉回来了，随后，我们又来到“日月同辉”上面自由活动，了解这些可敬可爱的剿匪烈士的一些生前事迹以及为何付出了宝贵生命。这些可爱的烈士用自己的生命换来了我们今天和平、幸福的生活，他们永远活在我们的心里!

从网上了解到的关于阿庆嫂和保安大队长胡传魁的故事仍然历历在目。在轰隆隆的炮声中，胡传魁却和黄春举行着婚礼，百姓是群情激愤，抗日呼声高涨，而阿庆嫂也不失时机地鼓动着胡传魁的抗日热情，他只能迫不得已壮别了婚场，投入到革命中去……

清明节，不单单是扫墓，更应永远地怀念我们崇敬的英雄，他们奋不顾身为了谁?还不是为了我们中国人民的安康幸福。革命英雄的事迹虽然已经过去了，但他们永远活在我们的心中，我们也要沿着他们的步伐创造更多的奇迹。
