In my spare time, I like to read novels. I think reading could enlarge my knowledge. As for novels, I could imagine whatever I like such as a well-known scientist or a kung-fu master. In addition to reading, I also like to play PC games. A lot of grownups think playing PC games hinders the students from learning. But I think PC games could motivate me to learn something such as English or Japanese.

My favorite course is English because I think it is interesting to say one thing via different sounds. I wish my English could be improved in the next four years and be able to speak fluent English in the future.

不是收到朋友的节日祝福，若不是接到放假一天的通知，我真的没有意识到端午节到了。

儿时的每个节日都是很热闹的，当然包括端午节，那时候也不懂端午节是纪念屈原的，但知道要吃棕子、插艾蒿、叠端午符、戴香包和五色线。往往是在半个月前就张罗这些东西了，母亲忙着打听哪家的棕叶色好味浓，哪家的糯米润滑绵密，我们也忙着到野地里找艾蒿，到商店里买五色线，天天缠着母亲快点包棕子。端午节的前两三天，母亲便开始把棕叶、糯米、小米、红枣泡在水里，作好准备工作，节前一天，便早早起来包棕子了，一个棕子二三根棕叶，先放一点糯米，中间加一到两个红枣，然后再用糯米盖好，既要包得严实紧密，又要透气美观，看着大人们利索地包扎好棕子，忍不住也想试试，于是也张罗起包棕子来，长长的棕叶到了自己手中竟变得调皮起来，这两根拢合了，另一根却横竖合不在一起，糯米从空隙间洒落出来，急得一身汗，让姐姐帮我调整好，绑线的时候又闹了笑话，要么绑得太紧绕成死疙瘩，要么绑得太松散了架，直到她们嚷我填乱子，自己也累得满头大汗才悻悻走开。下午时分母亲便开始生火搭锅煮棕子，没一会整个院里便飘满了浓浓的棕合味，馋嘴的我们急不可耐一会跑去看一遍，恨不得马上吃上棕子。棕子往往要煮上四五个小时才能熟，我们小孩子是没有耐心一直等下去的，便相约了出去玩耍，直到天黑回家时突然想起了棕子，撒欢跑回家，来不及洗手，便将那刚刚煮好的棕子打开来。

端午节的早上，早早起来，我们的衣服里已经缝好了端午符，脖子上挂上了公鸡状的香囊，手腕间戴上了五色线，辫子里也插上了艾蒿，一切都是那么神圣而喜悦。亲朋好友间互相送棕子，小儿伙伴间偷偷比起了谁的香囊好看，谁的五色线鲜艳，一切都是那么的快乐。这种快乐一直延续近一个月，到家里的棕子吃完了，门上的艾蒿枯了，背上的符拆去，手腕上的五色线解下。

又是一年端午节，这种快乐的氛围似乎只能成为一种永久的记忆了，城里人过节很简单，去超市提一袋冷冻好的棕子回家一吃就意味着过了端午。我也从没有象母亲那样去为孩子准备五色线、端午符，感觉过节的气氛越来越淡，是快节奏的生活让我们简化了传统节日那些繁锁却有趣的过程，还是平日里的压力让我们更喜欢上了那些能够尽情狂欢的洋节日?

只想回远方的家乡去看看，乡下的端午是否还象往昔那样热闹?
