The Hunger Games, is written by Suzanne Collins. The central ruling city, named the capitol, holds the hunger games. Every year, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games are just a nationally televised event in which Tributes must fight with one another until one survivor remains.

To my surprise, Katniss involved in the hunger games, replaces her sister to play. She moves forward with faith, and finally wins both love and the hunger games. By the way, Katniss and Peeta are the tributes from district 12. Finally, they survive to the end and return home.

In my opinion, the Hunger Games is written mainly against domination. In another word, the hunger games are the product of domination. From the growth of Katniss, I deeply impressed that she is not only minute but also representative and aspirant, for the Hunger Game is not only a game itself as a show, but also the game between the Capitol and other 12 districts. This is a game about domination and revolution. In the Hunger Games, there are many moving scenes. While peeta joins the tributes from the richer districts. However, when he has the opportunity to kill Katniss, he instead saves her from the others. But Rue skilled by another tribute, whom Katniss then kills, Katniss sings to Rue until she dies, which encourages the watching people to chase for freedom and be against domination.

Besides this, I also learn something about hope from the story. Katniss moves all the way forward with hope. She tells peeta in the arena,If we win, we will each get a house in the part of town reserved for Hunger Games’ victors。 She does not give up but does everything she can to increase the possibility of survival. As young adults, we should also have faith in our future. Ups and downs as we may face, none of them is challenging enough compared with the death threat Katniss encounters. Katniss never losed hope. Neither should we.

At the end of Hunger Games, when the couple remain last, the rule changes back. One must kill the other to win. Knowing that the gamemakers would rather have to victors than none, Katniss offer some highly poisonous berries to peeta. Realizing that Katniss and Peeta instead to commit suicide, the gamemakers announce that they both will be victors of the 74th Hunger Games. Katniss is very mature, brave and wise. She is a b role model for young girls with her character"s sacrifice, courage, moral grounding in a world that"s lost its own, and will to fight for what"s right, even if it means sacrificing her own life or sparking a revolution.

Although the reality is cruel for almost every character in the fiction, the positive side of humanity and love is always bright.

The first impression that the boy Tom gave me was a naughty, mischievous boy, just as what Aunt Polly said. He never lacked the curiosity to explore new places, sometimes even risking his life, which I did not dare to! There were some great adventures of him with Huck or Joe. Huck was an orphan, and Joe was Tom’s classmate. Everybody in the small village knew Tom, mainly for Tom’s—you know kind of gallantry!

I should tell you the adventures. The origin of the attempt was that Tom and Huck was getting curious to the world of outside, and they made an effort to run-away. However, when they were in the graveyard, some people appeared. They were Injun Joe, Huck’s father, named Potter, and a doctor. Tom and Huck quickly hid behind the bush, and they saw them digging the coffins out, probably finding something valuable. They did not realize that what they witnessed was a murder! Tom and Huck were extremely afraid, and they ran away rapidly. On the court, Potter was being accused of the murderer; however, Tom declared that it was Injun Joe who used Potter’s knife to kill the young doctor. On hearing this, Injun Joe broke the glass and ran away! This scared everybody, and Tom’s brother, Sid, said that he always heard Tom mumbling something when he was asleep, and sometimes even shouting. Indeed, the accident was fluttering everybody in the town with fear.

Before, Tom once fell in love with a girl called Lawrence. And he showed off in front of the girl, trying to win the girl’s heart, but Lawrence ignored Tom’s appearance, and it made Tom sad. At present, Tom went for another girl for Becky. Yet, when Becky knew that Tom once loved Lawrence (it was probably childish thoughts), she refused Tom. Tom got so depressed that he resolutely committed the second escape.

He made contact with Huck and Joe that afternoon, about where to meet, the code words of meeting, and the route, and so on and so forth. Each of them brought some food, and Huck brought some pipes (remind that Huck had no real home, and I had no ideas where he got the things). At midnight, they met at the place, and they took a raft down the river. After drifting for about several hours, they finally reached the destiny. There they lived for about several weeks, and while everybody thought they were drowned, they had a great time. They were no problems of food or water shortages. They promised to be a pirate, and would live there forever.

If you were out from your relatives for a long time, wouldn’t you miss home? It was the same for those children. After several weeks, Joe felt that he missed home very much, and Tom could not seem to stop him. On this, Tom brought Joe and Huck his secret—

On one night, when the rest of the boys fell asleep (of course they slept outside), Tom crept from the camp, and headed toward the town. He sneaked to his aunt’s room, and hid under the bed, while everybody- Mary (Tom’s sister), Sid, Aunt Polly and Joe Harper’s mother were having a meeting. There were a lot of tears, about how the boys were killed, and how they would treat the boys if they ever lived again, such things. Tom almost wanted to get out of the bed and hug Aunt Polly, but he couldn’t. At last, everybody went to sleep. Tom went out from the bed, and flew to the camp. That was the secret— that the boys will go to their own funeral!

While the boys were outside, all of the people in the town were discussing about the accidents. The town was immediately covered with a sense of doom. So the funeral was raised. Everybody wore a black suit, and they prayed something along with the priest. Just then, they saw somebody entering the gate, and what they saw was unbelievable. Three young souls came out from their coffins and showed up in front of everybody! The change of the atmosphere was imaginable. Aunt Polly, Joe Harper’s mother, Mary and Sid were astounded to find that Tom came so vivid in front of them, and so Tom and Joe became a hero in the school, even in the town.

The real adventures of Tom were finding the treasures. However, I felt that I had no energy to write more…

"The adventures of Tom Sawyer" is the masterpiece of the famous American novelist Mark Twain, the novel the hero Tom Sawyer innocent and lively, dare to adventure, the pursuit of freedom, unbearable bound individual character, the boring life, fantasy do a hero career.

Tom childhood parents died, adopted by aunt polly. Smart naughty Tom cant stand aunt polly and school teacher, often play truant. Late one night, he and his good friend huckleberry Finn to the cemetery to try courage, but accidentally witnessed a murder happened. At another time, Tom and huck together with Joe Harper, fled to a desert island as a "pirates", make thought they had died in the home, the results but they appear in his "funeral". From their show integrity and bravery in the difficult, in the usual life smart and lively, naive and earnest words and deeds, left a deep impression on me.

After reading this novel, I think the person should be honest, honest, difficult to calm, calm analysis, and try to solve the problem, after we failed in the exam, we should also take more diligent, dont discouragement, strive for better results, if able to overcome difficulties, on the road to success, it is a matter of epic. Tom is in a world full of sunshine, tell us as long as there is joy, have a dream, a dream can come true. One day, our nature can play freely, to create a piece of heaven and earth belongs to our own dream.

So special precious childhood, but people always look forward, I believe that the next few days will be more fulfilling, more vibrant.

Published in 1847, Wuthering Heights was not well received by the reading public, many of whom condemned it as sordid, vulgar, and unnatural--and author Emily Bronte went to her grave in 1848 believing that her only novel was a failure. It was not until 1850, when Wuthering Heights received a second printing with an introduction by Emilys sister Charlotte, that it attracted a wide readership. And from that point the reputation of the book has never looked back. Today it is widely recognized as one of the GREat novels of English literature.

Even so, Wuthering Heights continues to divide readers. It is not a pretty love story; rather, it is swirling tale of largely unlikeable people caught up in obsessive love that turns to dark madness. It is cruel, violent, dark and brooding, and many people find it extremely unpleasant. And yet--it possesses a grandeur of language and design, a sense of tremendous pity and GREat loss that sets it apart from virtually every other novel written.

The novel is told in the form of an extended FLASHback. After a visit to his strange landlord, a newcomer to the area desires to know the history of the family--which he receives from Nelly Deans, a servant who introduces us to the Earnshaw family who once resided in the house known as Wuthering Heights. It was once a cheerful place, but Old Earnshaw adopted a "Gipsy" child who he named Heathcliff. And Catherine, daughter of the house, found in him the perfect companion: wild, rude, and as proud and cruel as she. But although Catherine loves him, even recognizes him as her soulmate, she cannot lower herself to marry so far below her social station. She instead marries another, and in so doing sets in motion an obsession that will destroy them all.

Wuthering Heights is a bit difficult to "get into;" the opening chapters are so dark in their portrait of the end result of this obsessive love that they are somewhat off-putting. But they feed into the flow of the work in a remarkable way, setting the stage for one of the most remarkable structures in all of literature, a story that circles upon itself in a series of repetitions as it plays out across two generations. Catherine and Heathcliff are equally remarkable, both vicious and cruel, and yet never able to shed their impossible love no matter how brutally one may wound the other.

As the novel coils further into alcoholism, seduction, and one of the most elaborately imagined plans of revenge it gathers into a ghostly tone: Heathcliff, driven to madness by a woman who is not there but who seems reflected in every part of his world--dragging her corpse from the grave, hearing her calling to him from the moors, escalating his brutality not for the sake of brutality but so that her memory will never fade, so that she may never leave his mind until death itself. Yes, this is madness, insanity, and there is no peace this side of the grave or even beyond.

It is a stunning novel, frightening, inexorable, unsettling, filled with unbridled passion that makes one cringe. Even if you do not like it, you should read it at least once--and those who do like it will return to it again and again.

When I first saw one of the works of Jonathan swift, gullivers travels, I thought it was like "lubin sun Crusoe adventure novels, but when I opened the book and read the preface of the book part just know, originally this is a full of fairy tale satire novel. But the novels fairy tale color only on the surface of the local characteristics, sharp deep irony is its soul.

After watching the gullivers travels, we have to look at yourself, see if our body is the worst ills of shadow, and see if we like the authors describe the hu.

Although our society dont like the British decline, but were not much better. Petty theft, throw litter and vandalism, are everywhere around us. Murder and arson drug smuggling, brutal crazy. We often see on TV, are not surprising. So a muddy society, to clarify what we make. Now although we may not do anything with a bang, but at least we can do what we can do it. Even picked up a piece of trash, head down and lifted the old man across the road, on the bus seat... This is all we lift a finger.

After I read this book, I sighed deeply. I hope we can in our society, be like hui from country society. I would like to pay, starts from me, starts from the minor matter, starts from now, make the society a little more sunshine, a little less dark.

"In order to property, money and position and the marriage is wrong; the marriage does not consider the above factors also stupid." This sentence can come to this book.

One distinctive characters in "her" lifelike; Clever sensible Elizabeth, sincerity, persistence, darcy, gentle tolerant Jane, frivolous superficial Lydia, no mind, Mrs Bennett relatively ineffective Mr Bennett, selfish snobbish miss bingley, mighty lady Catherine, boring Collins, and so on. Among them, admirable, sympathetic, or a smile. In addition, the dialogue between the characters in the novel is also a feature of the novel. Elizabeth witty words, Mr Bennett its sarcasm to him, for the khans rhetoric, Collins rap wording, which make readers view. Do you know of who "she" is? "She" is the author -- Jane Austen.

The book was welcomed by generations of readers, and love. "Pride and prejudice", published in 1813, a love story is novel, the novel of the communist party of China involves four marriage, but each have each characteristic.

In a word, no matter from content and Austins novel narrative techniques, "pride and prejudice" is a classic.

The story of the magnolias father from the army has been around for a thousand years, and we have been very much admired by the woman named hua mulan.Last year, the school played "mulan" to show the heroic killing of the valiant female general mulan.

Watching this movie is like going through a thrilling battle. The real performance of zhao has infected all the audience. At the beginning of the film, the director deliberately lowered the lens to allow you to see four-fifths of the yellow earth, only a blue-blue sky.In such a barren land, the people of the gentle barbarian, the blood of the human life, the soldiers in the peaceful life, a show in front of the present. The film is only slightly used to coax his father to drink or drink the details of the medicine, he explained to hua mulan from the small learning of the martial arts, and the deep love of the old father.Zhao weis acting without the trace, without the beauty of the big eyes, has already made the character of hua mulans kindness and bravery crystal clear. There are a lot of comments criticizing "mulan" for crying too much, and in my opinion, both zhao wei and Chen kuns cries are in line with the plot development.

Death makes soldiers grow, and sorrow is beyond reproach. When hua mulan led the army to the "dragon", it was almost wiped out.The name of hua mulan in the boundless desert of wentai.Seriously injured in the hua mulan miss staring at this time, back from the dead people in their own cries and screams, at this time no matter the film actor, or theater in the audience was moved to tears and visceral.

The whole atmosphere of mulan is sad, and the emotional entanglements and the cruelty of the war have been intensified. But we still want to thank the director for being able to give the audience a lot of grief

Bring a smile. In fact, from the atmosphere, we can see the director and the writers heart. If the whole film is in a subdued emotional tone, and there is no easy transition to a heavy shift without the ups and downs of the plot, then the overall view of the film is not likely to be so full.

Of course, there are some shortcomings. Most of the scenes in the war scene are in the lens of the scene, and it seems difficult to satisfy the visual impact of the audience. The director understands his own advantages, so his script does not stand in a macho mood to show mulan, but chooses the female perspective to interpret our heroine. He mainly showed how a woman was able to survive and protect her feelings during the war.Heroines have her courage and strength, but also her vulnerability and evasion. So, we can see a full of individual character, image full of hua mulan, with femininity and daughter psychology to show the cruelty of war, and we also can see children affair in the national interest and anti-war feelings show different performance.

The author who himself was born in a poor family wrote this novel in his twenties with a view to reveal the ugly masks of those cruel criminals and to expose the horror and violence hidden underneath the narrow and dirty streets in London. The hero of this novel was Oliver Twist, an orphan, who was thrown into a world full of poverty and crime. He suffered enormous pain, such as hunger, thirst, beating and abuse.

While reading the tragic experiences of the little Oliver, I was shocked by his sufferings. I felt for the poor boy, but at the same time I detested the evil Fagin and the brutal Bill. To my relief, as was written in all the best stories, the goodness eventually conquered devil and Oliver lived a happy life in the end.

One of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft, little Oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of Mrs. Maylie and Rose and began a new life. He went for walks with them, or Rose read to him, and he worked hard at his lessons. He felt as if he had left behind forever the world of crime and hardship and poverty. How can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? The reason is the nature of goodness.

I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens-he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. Although I don’t think goodness is omnipotent, yet I do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.

Animal Farm tells a story that one day the animals overthrow the farmer Mr. Jones, and found their own regime, called Animal Farm They adopt Seven Commandments of Animalism, of which the most important is All animals are equal。 Pigs are the leaders of the operation of the newly start-up farm. Thanks to the right lead of the pigs and selfless and hardworking of all animals, the Animal Farm develops good enough to their demands.

However, the leaders separate into two factions soon after. As a result, Snowball is expelled by Napoleon as a betrayer. Although many animals remember that Snowball is a brave leader, they firmly believe they were wrong and Snowball is a bad animal indeed after brainwashing Napoleon offered. What’s more, the Seven Commandments of Animalism had also been changed. Finally, the Animal Farm becomes quite different from what they hope it to be at the beginning.

From the novel; I expressively feel the great power of faith. With the faith of Animalism, they finally found their regime, and struggle the equal from humans. And because of the faith, Napoleon can still rule the wretched animals, even though Snowball has gone. In our daily life, faith is indispensable as well. Faith just as flame, guiding us and supporting us when we feel frustrated as well as every time we need power to keep going ahead. When the Animal Farm is in mess, the animals still believe in their faith and Animalism. As to us, this believing is needed. Sometimes we may think we are in a wrong road to our dream, or we lose heart of ourselves, considering we aren"t as well as respect, we need believe. A b faith just likes a protection, and we are protected by it from kinds of difficulties.
