But I think this is too simplistic a title and and maybe slightly off-putting to some. Hardye steps into Greek Tragedy when the unwitting and churlish actions of our young protagonist, Bathsheba Everdene, result in a love tryst between three suitors with tragic consequenses.

The book is essentially a journey for Bathsheba into womanhood not unlike the journey that Scarlett O‘Hara makes in Gone with the Wind who also has to overcome great tragedy in order to realise her own strength. Unlike this heroin, however, Bathsheba is more the instrument of chaos and indecion and part of her journey is that she accepts what she has caused and tries to make it right.

Hardye avoids making this into moral stricture but deviates from the Greek Tragedy model by giving us a happy ending not atypical of 19C serialised fiction.

寒假期间我的亲人向我推荐了一套书名是《昆虫记》系列的书，它是法国杰出昆虫学家、文学家法布尔的传世佳作，是一部不朽的著作。在他对昆虫、曰常生活习性、特征的描述中体现出作者对生活世事特有的眼光。字里行间洋溢着作者本人对生命的尊重与热爱。法布尔用他一生的精力深入昆虫世界，在自然环境中对昆虫进行观察与实验，真实地记录下昆虫的本能与习性。《昆虫记》详细地描绘了昆虫的生活：如蜘蛛、蜜蜂、螳螂、蝎子、蝉、甲虫、蟋蟀，等等。

I was read the book which called “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”。 This story is about a clever boy called Tom Sawyer.

Tom is a naughty boy, he doesn’t like school and he doesn’t like work and he never wants to get up in the morning. But he like playing like swimming, fishing and having adventures with his friends. In this story he and his friend have a lot of adventures. These adventures can be dangerous. One night in the graveyard he and Huck see three men. Then Tom and his friends saw a murder. Joey killed the doctor and referred to Peter. Tom and his friends exposed Joey and caught him and became hero.

I think Tom is naughty but he is sympathetic and upright, he is brave he doesn’t afraid of Joey and full of his mind are wicked idea but he is clever and optimistic, he want his friend work for him, he make a lot of funny things.

This book let me know we need to “The road sees rough, gone to bat” to face difficult things we can’t shrink back and we need to fight with them. In the same time l know if only have a dream have pursuit and should try our best to do it , we can’t give up easily .

It just like in our study life we need to do our best. When we have problem we need to overcome it and get better scores.

《昆虫记》主要讲了作家法布尔几十年来的观察与对昆虫的认识，其中，我就十分喜欢他写的一篇文章——《狼蛛》。

法布尔的观察可真仔细啊！连昆虫的腿部都观察的那么认真。法布尔可不止只写了这一篇文章，还有松毛虫，萤火虫，蝉等等好多可爱的小昆虫，大家有兴趣的话，可以看一看这本书。

寒假期间，我读了法布尔先生写的《昆虫记》这本书，感触颇多。

这本书的作者是昆虫学家法布尔先生通过认真观察，许多次的实验，细致的描写了各种昆虫的生活习性、繁殖和捕食的方式，向我们大家展现了一个奇妙的，不可思议的昆虫世界。昆虫学家法布尔先生把文章写得如此生动有趣，使我读得津津有味。

整本书所写的昆虫都使我感到十分有趣。这都要归功于法布尔先生的仔细观察，细致描写。如：螳螂的大腿下面生长着两排十分锋利的像锯齿一样的东西。在这两排尖利的锯齿后面，还生长着一些大牙，一共有三个。“为首的那条松毛虫一面探测，一面稍稍地挖一下泥土，似乎在测定土的性质”等，这些只有仔细观察才能写出来。光是仔细观察还不够，还要细致描写，读者才能看懂。又如“这小筒的外貌，有点像丝织品，白里略秀一点红，小筒的上面叠着一层层鳞片，就跟屋顶上的瓦片似的”等，这些十分细致的描写，使整本书写得更加生动、形象、具体，引人入胜。

之所以法布尔先生能写出这么好的文章，是因为自己仔细观察，细心观察。

而我，则是一个不太会观察生活的人，因此，老师叫我写作文时候，我总想不到题材。不过有一次例外，我和同学在去上课的路上，我发现了一队蚂蚁正在搬食物，经过观察我又发现，蚂蚁是先把食物切成小块，然后顶在头上，搬回窝里，然后原路返回，再搬，来回的循环。这次我虽然仔细观察了，但这是对我感兴趣的事。

现在我明白了：不能只对我们感兴趣的事仔细观察，应该对周围的所有的事仔细观察，才能做到无处不文章。瞧，小小的昆虫也蕴含着大学问呢!
