不禁想到伟大历史人物——司马迁，满腹才学的他因惹怒皇上而被关进大牢，摆在他眼前的只有两条路，一是立即被处以死刑，二是留他一条命，但是他需被处以宫刑，司马迁选择了后者，我相信他应是想选择一死了之的，但是思及自己未完成的事业、自己背负的责任，司马迁才忍辱负重，选择了接受宫刑。宫刑使司马迁丢尽了面子，然而司马迁却不管不顾，他不在意自己的面子没了，永被人耻笑。试想，如果当时司马迁顾及面子，现如今哪还有文学巨著《史记》的产生。虽然司马迁丢了表面上的面子，但他坚持不懈的精神却为他撑起了心中的面子。

时代的迅速发展，给人们带来了很多顾虑。身份、地位的不同使人们为面子顾虑很多，人们忘却了面子真正的含义，只为了表面上的浮华名利，那些往往是不长久的。

我有个哥哥，也在我们学校念书，今年中考考了525分，全家人都喜出望外，十分高兴。为什么呢?因为他平时模拟考试时，也就考个400出头，有时甚至连400分也考不到，而这次一下子高了这么多，换成谁，谁不高兴呢?可是，分数线一下来，傻脸了，谁也没有想到分数线竟然会这么高，现在大伙儿是这找人，那找人，最后听说是报了个二高，真是作难，更何况几年后的高考，真难啊。

我展望未来，有两条路摆在我面前，一条是努力学习，走上人生正轨;另一条则是天天打游戏，无所事事，最后一事无成。未来是由自己决定的，我要好好学习，不然未来将无路可走。
