I will have a seven-day holiday next week. In these days, I have many

This winter is freezing cold. I didn’t have any desire to go out for play.

anxious for staying inside too long, I will go near the window to wach the

I just didn’t want to go out. Later my mother found that I was so lazy. Then she

forced me to go out. Since my mother said, I have no excuse to reject. My mother

is right. Though the outside was icy, it’s fantastic. Everything smells fresh.

Since then, I went outside everyday, and then did my homework and felt full of

energy. The holiday ended very soon. It was a lazy holiday.

There is no doubt that happiness is the most precious thing in the world.

Without it, life will be empty and meaningless. If you wish to know how to get

happiness, you must pay attention to the following two points.

First, health is the secret of happiness (the key to happiness). Only a

strong man can enjoy the pleasure of life.

Secondly, happiness consists in contentment. A man who is dissatisfied with

his present condition is always in distress.

This afternoon my school held an English-speaking contest named"Challenging the Future" in the multi-function classroom。 The students who are excellent at English took part in the contest。 I just went there as an audience。

I got a lot from their speech。 In their speech， I found all of them had made full use of the present time and conditions to prepare for the future and used the known factors to challenge the unknown ones。 From this I realized that we shouldnt waste our time of today and shouldnt put todays work off to tomorrow。 Today is the base of tomorrow。 I will no longer waste my present time。 I am going to study hard and do good preparation for my future。

Li Ming is my classmate, he is always the best student in my class. The

teachers speak highly of him all the time. I wondered how he can do so well, so

I talked to him. He told me that he kept reading books every hour a day, if he

was busy, he would do it before sleeping. I thought about most of us, we could’t

I like dogs, because they are mans good friends. They can do many helpful

Matt gave us a class this afternoon, at the first part of the class, we saw a film. It was mainly about American football. After the film, we began t get to know the American football. It is similar to soccer, but it was much rougher. Players might get more easily. In another word, it was a game full of danger, they played just like fighting. One of the players just broke his leg during the match, and he would never play American football, because of his leg. What a pity! In China, people usually have three meal a day, they are breakfast, lunch

and supper.People usually have breakfast from seven to nine in the morning.

There are many kind of food for them to eat, such as nuddles, eggs, fried dough

sticks and soy milk. They have lunch at about twelve at noon, usually have

vegetables, meats and rice. They have a short rest after lunch. Supper is about

at six in the evening. All the family eat together, they eat the same kind of

food as the lunch. Some people like to have some fruits after the meal.

As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me ask me about all kinds of things at the college.

At college, I missed my parents a lot. As the term was drawing to an end, I eagerly looked forward to going home. And I planned to do a thousand one things during the vacation. My Happy Day

A hot day
