The Spring Festival

The Spring Festival，Chinese New Year，is the most important festival for all of us。 All family members get together on New YearEve to have a big meal。At the same time，everyone celebrates to each other。At about 12 oclock，some parents and children light crackers。The whole sky is lighted brightly。 We may watch the fireworks excitedly。How busy it is！

On the first early moring of one year，many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door。 Some houses windows are sticked on red paper cutlings。

The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days。 So during the fifteen days，we always visit our relatives from door to door。 At that time，children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents，grandparents，uncles，aunts and so on。 The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival。 It names the Lantern Festival。

So the Chinese New Year comes to the end。

Will Christmas Replace the Spring Festival？

Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China。 Christmas cards become popular with students。 People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts。 A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on。 Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing to youngsters。 Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival。

A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of a new year，I cant help thinking about my plan of next year。

The national flag was first raised over Tiananmen Square in 1949, marking the birth of New China. And it has been repeated every day since then. The ceremony still attracts the interest of millions of people each year. Although the flag has meant different things to different people, it now rises over a more confident and prosperous country.

When I was a primary school student, my family and I took a trip to five cities which were in the south of China.

First, we came to Nanjing by plane. That was the first time I had taken the plane and it took us an hour and a half to get there. We arrived in Nanjing in the morning. At 11:30 we went to a restaurant to have lunch. The food tasted delicious. In the afternoon we went to “Zhongshanling”. It was the place that preserve the tomb of Mr. Sugshan.

The next day, we came to Wuxi and then Suzhou where we visited the region of rivers and lakes of “周庄”. It was a beautiful and old place. The house there were along the river and the women always washed clothes at the bank.The fourth day, we came to Hangzhou where We visited “The West Lake. It was very beautiful and the water was clear . As we all know, Hangzhou is famous for silk and tea, so we bought some beautiful silk and famous tea of “龙井”.The last place that we visited was Shanghai. It was one of the biggest city is China. The night view in Shanghai was more beautiful than Beijing. We visited the TV tower of “东方明珠”. It was the third tallest tower in the world. Standing in the tower you could see the whole city. In the evening, we lived in a hotel with 25 floors. I was very excited that evening.

This trip took us seven days and we went back to Beijing by plane. The plane was very very big. There were three engine rooms. I felt happy and I would never forget the trip.

从报名参加这次夏令营的那一刻起，我的内心就一直没有平静过，想象着宁波怡人的风景，想象着夏令营充满未知的生活，想象着新认识的来自五湖四海的朋友……这一切都让我对宁波之行无比向往。

一个宁静的清晨，我们被教官带上大巴。听说今天要去海岛特训，天呐，那不正是我最期待的吗！

乘船来到海岛，为期一天的特训拉开帷幕。前面的几个项目搬轮胎、挖战壕、搬圆木我们都一一完成。接着来到最后一项挑战——穿越火线。我在铁丝网里匍匐前进，一开始还挺顺利的，可爬到中途，我的头发不幸被铁丝给勾住了，怎么拽都拽不下来。看到其他队员都顺利通关，我顾不了那么多，忍痛扯断了头发，继续前行！尽管到达终点后的我双手被磨破了，膝盖上也满是泥土，但能够完成挑战，我的内心十分欣喜。

临行前的篝火晚会上，同连队的两位队友一起上台为大家献唱了一首《暖暖》。我挥舞着手中的荧光棒，热情地为她们呐喊，自己也情不自禁地跟着音乐的节奏摇摆起来。此时，我想我的心也像手中的荧光棒一样，在闪闪发光吧。

这是一次意义非凡的旅行，我们第一次离开父母怀抱，第一次坐动车，第一次洗衣服，第一次过集体生活……如此多的第一次，让我体会到了一次不同的旅行，一次不同的经历，更是一次不同的人生！

我游览过方家河头的古村落，欣赏过杭州湾湿地的美景，嬉戏过奉化的滑雪场，却没有见过绍兴这一带的风景。趁着寒假的几天闲暇，爸爸带全家去了早已让我心驰神往的绍兴古城。

绍兴的整座城市都弥漫着古色古香的气氛，尤其是鲁迅故居这一带可以感受到浓浓的书卷气息。小桥，流水，乌篷船，古老的建筑仿佛让我穿越到了鲁迅小时候的那个时代。我漫步在平整的石板路，古街里飘来了茴香豆的味道，路边的臭豆腐摊围满了游客。茴香豆，绍兴黄酒，咸亨酒店这些书里看到的一切真实的出现在我的眼前。

顺着路标，我们来到了闻名天下的“三味书屋”，这是座深宅大院，也叫寿家台门，是鲁迅小时候上学的学堂。我找到了位于东北角鲁迅用过的书桌，桌子的右上方果真有个一寸见方的“早”字。据说这是鲁迅小时候因贪玩迟到了，被寿镜吾老师严厉的批评后为了勉励自己而刻的。这让我想到了鲁迅说过的话：时间就像海绵里的水，只要愿意挤还是有的。为了再现当年的情形，这里每天会有一位老先生身穿长衫头戴瓜皮帽，扮成寿镜吾老师来给游客观摩呢！

从三味书屋出来就到了鲁迅小时候的乐园——百草园。与其说百草园，还不如说白菜园，当然不及书中提到的风采了，令我有点小小的失落。四周都是碧绿的菜畦，我们绕着园子走了一圈，找到了石井栏和皂荚树，总算让我小小的心脏跳跃起来。妈妈对我说：“这个百草园看似平常，但是因为留下过名人的足迹有了别样的景致。”

参观完了白草园和三味书屋，就来到鲁迅纪念馆，一抬头就看见鲁迅的的名句：横眉冷对千夫指，俯首甘为孺子牛。鲁迅的画像依旧那么威严，目光还是那么犀利地看着这个世界。馆内到处陈列这鲁迅的物件，记录着他的事迹，让我们更加地了解鲁迅伟大又短暂的一生。

绍兴虽然没有特别的景致，但是这里人杰地灵，出了很多的伟人名人，让这里到处熠熠生辉。绍兴确实是个好地方，值得人们前去品味他的魅力。

Now National Day is coming. I have made a plan for it .I am going to Beijing with my parents.Because there are many places of interest .First we want to visit the Great Wall ,which is considered one of the seven wonders in the world. I used to think Beijing must be a grand and special city, given that it was the capital of China, and lots of events I have heard took place there. But soon after I got off the plane, I knew all was but my illusion. If I had to use one wordto describe it, nothing but “grey” will fulfil the task. As far as your eyes could see, all was covered in dust and haunted by air pollution.

Though it was the first time I had been to the North part of China, I was still surprised by the sharp contrast between the South and North. It wasnt hearsay.
