tests will bring the examinees great pressure, which can affect their lives. A typical example of this is that most young students have worn glasses even though some of them are still children. For preparing for tests, they must spend a lot of time on doing their homework so that their eyesight becomes worse and worse. And the more time they spend on those, the less time they have for playing and relaxing. Consequently, there is a bad influence on their health.

Since school comes into being, the test standard has been used to appraise performance of students. So far it is still being used, which may suggest that actually there are some advantages in it. However, it is also highly possible that the test standard is a not ideal way to find out what students have learned and what they havent. Most school is still using it just because there is no better method to replace it.

In my opinion, the following three points are the critical flaws in the test standard.

One of the most harmful effects on the test method is that it will force us to study just for passing tests, not for acquiring knowledge especially in China. Obviously the final object of education is making us intellective by learning more knowledge. While the test is only a way to examine the level of students studies, it has been deteriorated to a sifter deciding the fate of students. Why can it be called a terrible sifter? Now in the tests, which decide who can enter a higher school, thousands of poor students, who want a splendid future, must prepare for the tests by finishing a great deal of practices. Those practice tests are heavy-laden to them. So in this case, how can they be expected to study to obtain knowledge? To them that are enough if they can reach the level which tests need. In the end what our nation will get, genuine persons with ability or just test robots?

一、简单句的九大基本句型

一、试卷特点:

本次试卷的命题紧扣了教学大纲和教科书的书本知识,在考察学生英语基础知识的前提下,注重了对学生语言综合能力和知识迁移的考察,注重语言环境及文化背景的设置,减少了词汇、语法等单纯知识性的试题,增加了试题的灵活性、开放性、探究性及综合性。试题以听、读、写的形式,全面地检查了学生应掌握的英语基础知识和基本能力,考题不是很难。

二、学生对各题得分情况分析

1.听力部分:

此题考察学生是否能正确理解所听的内容,并具备用英语进行释义的能力,用英语回答问题的能力,在特定的语境中进行交际的能力。听力部分共a.b.c.d小节,设计由浅入深,由易到难,循序渐进,从知识到能力,具有一定的梯度。a部分为理解,1-5小题看图听句子,十分简单,学生只要听懂个别单词就能回答出来;b部分为反应:6-10小题根据所听到的句子,从a,b,c三个选项中选出最佳答案。这部分与前部分相对难一点,即要求学生听懂句子的内容又要求选出答案。c部分为对话理解,听对话根据问题选出答案,这部分简单。d部分为笔录要点:根据你所听到的的内容,填写下面的表格。这部分为整个听力的难点。即要听懂句子又要能写单词。总之就整个听力部分而言,略显简单,对于基础较好的学生来说,此套听力题略显简单,小部分都是满分大部分都在18分以上,他们对听力题中侧重的词组及一些英语成语已做到熟练掌握的程度,完全达到了英语教学中对听力的要求。对有一定英语基础,但掌握不扎实的学生来说,听力还存在薄弱的环节,尤其在b部分,c部分和d部 分,句子的理解和写单词对这类学生来说,仍然是个难点,缺乏对整个话题、文章的理解,单词记得不牢,语音、语调、连读、弱读方面还缺乏一定的训练。另外学 生除了对听力的训练不够,答题的方法和技巧也掌握的不是很好。对于英语学习吃力的学生来说,听力是相当难的,成绩也很不理想。

2.笔试部分的单选题:

基础知识题占三分之二,能力题占三分之一左右。此题注重考察词的辨析、语法以及习语等语言知识,在特定的语境中运用语言知识进行交际能力。此题知识覆盖面较广,重点,难点比较突出.注重了语言能力考察,以考察动词为主,兼顾其它词类,并考察句法,考察方式突出了语境.学生在27,31,34小题失分较多,对于人称代词主格和宾格的用法;like后接动词的ing形式的用法;以及let’s的用法都掌握不够。

3.笔试中的完形填空题部分:

紧扣课本中的课文,基本上只要读懂课文就能选出正确的答案,里面包含了介词at和of,以及人称代词的用法,这都是本学期的重点和难点.学生的失分较多.而且向来完形填空就是试卷中的一个较难点。

4.笔试中的阅读理解:

此题考察学生是否具备根据上下文猜测词意进行推理等思维活动,识别选择归纳所提供的信息,探索语篇中的表层含义和深层含义的阅读能力,从而达到获得正确的语言信息的目的。本大题包括a,b,c,d部分,安排的比较合理,由易及难.a部分为三段段文,情节清晰,学生得分较高.b部分为摘录要点和回答问题.摘录要点很简单从文中找出相对的答案,而回答问题就难了既要看懂课文还要有扎实的英语基础回答写出正确的答案.此部分也是一个拉分的部分.整个阅读理解难度不大40%的学生满分,50%的学生20分以上,10%的学生10分以下。

5.笔试中的书面表达:

主要考查学生调查以怎样的方式上?学生写的时候不觉的费力. 但个别同学在语言的灵活应用上欠功夫,不能够把书上的语言恰当的运用到自己的作文中去,且中式英语较重, 语言表达不地道,语法错误较多。这说明学生在日常写作教学中我们还存在着问题,没能在很好的驾御教材的同时注重学生能力的培养。

四、学情分析

总的来说,这次考试成绩不是很理想,优秀率偏低,尖子生还没有发挥水平;低分较多,两极分化的距离还没有缩少。通过整体的分析,反映了学生在复习中,基本上 能领会课堂的要点要求,一些知识点在堂上反复出现的,掌握得较牢固,但是运用这些知识去解决实际问题的能力较差,这与课后的练习有关,说明了部分学生对课 后的练习作业不够重视、缺乏主动性,而且,解题的依赖性强,缺乏独立的思考能力,另外,对于一些相关的语法知识和句子的构成,学生的遗忘率也很高。还有一 个也是最关键的一点就是普遍的学生学习习惯不好,及少的同学能聚精会神的听课,认真完成作业的.

五、今后的教学中应改进的措施。 通过期末这套试卷的分析,我们教师在以后的教学中,应该在以下几外方面进行改进。

1.加强词汇教学,尤其是书中的黑体字部分,一定要学生保证过关。

2.充分利用课本中的听力部分,加强学生的听力技巧训练,善于捕捉听力中的信息,培养学生猜测的能力。

3.尽多的背诵课文,加强语感,有助于学生听力和写作的提高。

4.加强阅读训练,督促学生每天阅读二至三个语段,提高学生的阅读能力。

5.授课时教师要适当渗透语法教学,让学生能够用英语中的语法修改自己做题中的失误,进行知识的迁移和创新能力的培养。

6.班级学生两极分化明显,各班的低下率都在上升,所以教师在教学中要有效地抑制两极分化,对学习有困难的学生进行转化提高.

一. 心理

古人云,不战而屈人之兵,很大程度上取决于心理因素。随着四六级考试改革的深入,会有,更新,更难的题目,包括作文题目出现,这样就要求我们有处惊不变的能力。即使是出现某种没有预料到的题型,考生也应该及时调整心态、从容不迫地应答。事实上,历史经验证明:题目要求越是高,难度越是大,考生的发挥余地也就越大。挑战和机遇是成正相关的。

二. 评分

知己知彼,百战不怠。熟悉老师的评分习惯,对于考生正常、甚至是超常发挥自身水平也十分有益。正常情况下,阅卷老师要领会贯彻考试规定的评分原则,依照文章的结构和语言水平进行评分。然而,除此以外,有“两个基本点”我们也需要给予足够的重视——闪光点和语法点。在一篇出类拔萃的范文中,我们往往可以看到像提问法、谚语总结法、从句、并列句、理由段公式、理由词汇、路线句型、插入语、名词化、和被动语态等等闪光点;而在一篇低分例文中,基本的语言错误则多得数不胜数。

三. 休息

考试迫在眉睫时,同学们往往容易进入一种临考状态。这种状态比较突出的表现是夜不能寐。尤其是在专业课和全国四六级考试纷至沓来的时候,很多同学更是发扬连续作战的精神,通宵达旦,头悬梁、锥刺骨。其实这对于像四六级考试这样的高强度考试而言是有百害而无一益的。道理很简单,四六级考试对于一个学生来说,不仅是一次英语水平的综合测试,也是一种意志力、甚至是体力的考验。没有良好的休息作为后盾,考生很难笑到最后。所以,保证充足的睡眠是最基本也是首要的应试技巧

四. 营养

无庸置疑,营养的摄入在最后关头也是异常重要的一环。在保证充分睡眠的同时,食物是另一个“工夫在诗外”的客观因素。尤其是参加四级考试的同学,早餐一定要定时定量,不可或缺。一般来说,类似奶酪苏这样的奶制品外加一杯热牛奶或者热巧克力已经足以提供整个半天考试所需的热量,当然,这也因人而异。有些体质虚弱的同学也可以考虑服用一些如西洋参、鸡精这样的营养品。不过,安眠药等有副作用的药物一定要慎用,否则过犹不及。

五. 审题

磨刀不误砍柴工。在落笔前花两三分钟时间进行构思,既有利于理清行文思路、也避免了差之毫厘、失之千里的遗憾。尤其是在应对图表类作文时,我们更是要看清图表,牢牢把握各个数据的变化和相互关系,才能够下笔。否则张冠李戴,即使文章本身再不同凡响、语惊四座,也只会竹篮打水、甚至起到适得其反的效果。

六. 卷面

对于像作文这样的主观题而言,考生与阅卷老师从来就犹如搏弈,无形中彼此互动、相互影响。一个考生可以做的,首先是通过卷面给阅卷老师下意识地传达个人信息。用笔的颜色(深蓝色使人心情放松愉快)、粗细(粗线条给人以安全感),整齐划一的格式(段首或一律顶格或一律空两格),明了的段落感(每段空一行),清晰的字数感(一行以十字为宜),工整的字迹都会给任何阅读者留下深刻的正面印象,从而使考生先发制人、取得先机。

七. 结构

有始有终、首尾照应,是任何一篇好文章的基本标准之一,也是两大评分原则之一。如果说广大考生已经给第一段以足够重视的话,那么是不是大多数考生都意识到了理由段的条理和最后一段的呼应在全文中所具有的不可忽视的地位了呢?其实,要写好理由段,我们只需要注意表示启承转合的衔接词即可。而要写好结尾,最好的方法莫过于温故而知新,回顾第一段的大致内容了。

八. 表达

言之无文,行而不远。语言作为评分原则中的基本要素之一,在四六级作文评分的整个过程中具有决定性作用。有评分老师甚至断言:“It is not what you say, it is the way that you say it.”(重要的并不在于考生写了些什么,而在于考生是怎么表达的。)虽然这种说法本身似乎有失偏颇,可是参加过国际标准化英语考试的同学应该也听说过那么一句话,叫做:“Give the monkey exactly what he wants.”(给阅卷老师最想要的。),不是吗?譬如同样是描述数据,一些同学拘泥于图表本身,动辄按部就班地引用图表上现成的数字和年代,其实这都是图表作文的忌讳。聪明的同学引而不用,他们常喜欢用倍数、分数、小数、百分比、或者一些动词(double / triple / quadruple)来表现极端数据,动态数据以及他们的相异之处。

九. 检查

行百里者半九十。一篇成功的作文少不了反复推敲、一再修改。然而,由于考试时间和条件等诸多因素的限制,考生绝对需要慎重对待作文的检查和修改。这里,我不得不提考生检查作文时的三大“通病”,即,数字数、孤芳自赏、和做结构与内容上的修改。我们必须明确:考试作文的润色和修改只需要达到三个目的即可:1. 拼写正确,看文章中是否有汉字、多余符号、糊乱涂改、划线、和错别字;2. 搭配正确;和3. 语法正确,特别是人称、时态、和单复数的三一致。

书面表达历来是英语教学中一个难点,要想在限定的时间内写出一篇质量上乘的文章,非一日之功。纵观几年来的高考书面表达,我们可以看出,高考英语写作越来越重视情景的设置,要求考生总结自己的感受和见解,给出自己的观点。书面表达又是全面衡量学生英语综合水平的一种测试形式,因此,我们不得不重视。

第一步,写作的内容,要求做到两点— 内容完整、相关。这两点只要考生不粗心,基本都能做到。比如陕西考区的题目,要求写暑假的安排,是一篇正反观点类的议论文。必须注意题目的要求,第一要提出讨论话题,Recently there has been a heated discussion about what the students should do during the summer vacation.(这是一个经典的模版开篇句型)。第二要写出一方面的观点,然后是另一方面的观点,最后提出自己的看法,根据要求缺一不可,否则就会被扣掉相应的分数,这就是完整。再比如,2005年广东考区的成语寓言故事,不仅要描写整个守株待兔的过程,还应该根据要求点名寓意,否则也是不完整,这点只要在课堂上强调,学生是很容易做到的。所谓相关,也就是不要过多出现文中没有的信息,不能过分发挥,一般学生犯此类错误的较少。

第二步,写作中的语法。在阅卷中,一般三个小的语法错误会被扣掉一分,一个大的语法错误(关于谓语的错误)会被扣掉一分。所以,学生应该尽量避免犯语法错误。我在课堂中会强调,对于语法基础薄弱的同学,除了加强自己的语法功底外,就是去背诵我给出的50个最高频用到的句法结构。这些结构不仅正确,而且一定是高考中的有效得分点,即使语法偏弱,记住这些句子然后在考试中使用也能避免学生自己造句中的语法错误,一举两得。比如,倒装句在考试中就很少有同学主动启用,但是一旦正确启用就会收到意想不到的效果,所以我会给出四组倒装句,然后让学生加强运用和练习。这些句子包括:

1、Only when we realize the importance of environmental protection, can we solve the problem of pollution.

2、So precious is time that we can’t afford to waste it.

3、Diligent as he was, he failed in passing the exam.

4、By no means should teenagers get into the habit of smocking.

第三步,连接词的运用,使文章连贯、流畅。我把这些词分为8类,叫做“畅词”,往往学生由于中西方语言的差异,会忽视这一点,所以在授课中会通过大量的练习巩固和加强学生的印象。而且不仅要写,还写出高水平的畅词,因为高考是选拔性考试,要做到“人无我有,人有我优”。比如,“首先”这个表示次序的畅词,一般同学一定想到的是firstly 或者first of all。可是我建议学生启用to begin with, 或者initially (这个是建议水平较好的启用)。“然而”,绝大部分启用but, however,我建议学生采用on the contrary 或者oppositely。

第四步,也是整个课程的核心部分,要强化“复杂、高级”两个概念。为什么是核心呢?因为学生在这一部分没有正确的认识,在平时的学习中老师也没有有意识灌输和训练总结。大部分学生以为只要写出来、写正确就可以拿到高分,其实80-120个单词包括大概10个句子,如果全部是简单的词汇和句型没有办法达到最高档作文的要求。因此,我们强调高级的词汇和高级复杂的句型,不是说全部必须高级,而是必须出现一些才能符合高考作文大纲的要求。在这一步中,我总结的“高分词汇选择原则”、“简单句到复杂句的瞬间转换”、“高分句子写作策略”以及“钻石得分50句”,通过这些理论和实践结合的讲解,学生会感觉成绩的快速提升,效果明显。
