没几天，弟妹又打来电话说父亲又住院了，还是小便不出，这次下导尿管遭老了罪了。我赶紧到医院，父亲靠在那不能动，我说他：‘说不让你出院，你非得出院，又得遭次罪。”父亲像个做错事的孩子，嘟囔着床费不是太高了吗。我说：“这次你可得好利索了再出院，现在床位多紧张，老找人也不是回事呀。”

目前我国已经完全步入了老龄化社会，空巢老人已并不鲜见，甚至说已经较为普遍。父母通常独守家宅，毕竟子女们有自己的工作与事业，大多有自己的家庭，他们通常在周末才能回到父母身边团聚。可以说，空巢老人现象是社会发展的必然产物，是大势所趋。

所以关注空巢老人的问题，已是一件大事了。只有把老人的事情办好了，让他们不再寂寞、不再孤独，让他们快乐幸福地欢度晚年，子女们才能更好地工作以建设祖国大家园，社会才能更加安定团结、繁荣富强。

我认为首先应常回家看看。父母也许并不缺钱花，也许并不需要帮忙干活，他们需要的仅仅是有人陪着说说话，与子女一起热热闹闹过一会儿，看到子女的健康与幸福，他们需要的是精神的慰藉，而不是物质与钱财，因而首要的是我们常回家看看。
