今天是暑假的第一天，我经历了一件很特别的事情：一个人在家。相信很多和我同龄的人都经历过一个人在家，但是像我这么长久的独自在家应该并不多见。

在学校开完休业式，已是中午时分。正午时分的太阳太大方了，把所有的光芒都洒向大地，金色耀眼的光简直可以把草的水分全部晒干，我稍稍一踩就可以粉碎成灰。我顶着烈日，稍微动一动，身上的汗就流成了小河，我只能一步一步地向校外“爬”去，就在我无助的时候，救星妈妈开着车来接我了。但是妈妈接我回家吃完午饭，就打算出门工作了，而且晚饭也不能回家吃。这也意味着暑假中我的第一个考验来临：长达6小时的独自在家而且还要独自做饭。

两点钟，妈妈走了，我情不自禁的想往电脑边靠，可我也在一遍一遍的告诫自己不能玩游戏，不能辜负妈妈的信任，几个小时忍下来了，我终于抵制了游戏的诱惑，我感到很自豪。接下来就是最令我难忘的一件事，要单独烧一顿晚饭。我想了好久，决定做我最拿手的番茄蛋汤，我做的汤在家庭菜谱中颇有名气。但是，以前都是在妈妈的辅助下完成的，今天就是完完全全地由自己主勺了。结果在烧的时候状态百出：首先我自作多情地加了一块黄油，结果不仅没让汤变得美味，而且在放进去的时候溅了我一胳膊的汤，要不是我用冷水洗了几遍，我的胳膊就会变成生烤人肉片了。另外，然后，因为懒，淀粉和水没有和好，倒到汤里调汁的时候变成一个一个块状物体，吃的时候简直恶心得我想吐了。

第一次在家，第一次烧饭，这虽然是一个艰难的过程，但也是一件有意义的事情，它让我知道做饭是多么不容易，父母照顾我们多么的不易。还让我知道，我完全可以依靠内心的力量抵制游戏诱惑。这次一个人在家的经历令我终生难忘。

In the morning, we see a new friend. Although I don’t know his name, I meet him. And I think this boy looks like Edison. He is handsome. Later we make up some short plays and my group also show our play. Our story talks about a magician helping some fishes. And we got No.1.

In the afternoon, we play a game. It is so much fun!

Although the class is still boring, I think, in our life, we still can find some happiness!

On  5th my parents took me to . We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang . I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern . The  Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.

Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing

Saturday, sunny weather. Father and mother decided to take me to the Milky Way park to play, I am happy.

一路上，车上的人越来越挤，东圊站到了，有一个老奶奶上车了，老奶奶被挤得都有点站不稳了。我看见了，赶紧喊老奶奶到这里来坐，我起身跟妈妈一起坐。老奶奶微笑地看着我说：“谢谢你！小朋友。”这时我看到爸爸妈妈都微笑地看着我，仿佛都是在说你做的真棒！天河公园到了，在里面开心的玩了大半天。

Nanjing and stay here for a week. I think we can meet each other and have a good

time together. Now, let me tell you something about Suzhou. Suzhou is famous for

its beautiful gardens. According to official datas, there are more than100 in

total. They have enjoy great popularity in history for a long time. Among them,

the Tiger Hill is my favorite. Thousands of years ago, a king was said to be

buried there with his treasure. For such a long time, many people explored these

treasure but nobody have found. Except for this legend, the scenery there is

beautiful and we can enjoy it there. I have taken some pictures there, and I

will send you some via e-mail. Suzhou is worthy of visting. I am look forward to

your coming early.

During the National Day, our family went to Yunfu Mountain Hot Springs.

To the hot springs, we swim for swimsuit. First of all we came to the childrens pool, where there are a lot of fun slides there are things, I did not even do not do the warm-up exercise could not help but jumped out of the pool, "wow, really comfortable." But the water there is too shallow , Do not move. Then we went to the fish treatment pool, I put the feet into, there are many small fish over my feet, very comfortable, but feel a little itch. There are many hot spring pools, there are ice pool, waterfall pool, gold pool, silver pool, pebble pool, surf pool, hydrogen pool, there are many large and small hot spring pool, there is really fun.

We played the whole hot spring, comfortable to leave.

今天班会课是关于“安全”的话题，其中有火灾自救、地震、食物中毒、溺水等。

先说地震，如果发生地震，就要在最坚固的建筑物下面，最重要想办法保护头部，不要在有东西会掉落的地方，比如风扇，如果可以的话，就朝户外空旷的地方跑。关于火灾自救，如果发生火灾，要用湿毛巾捂着鼻子，不然烟会进入鼻子会中毒的，同时关闭电源，煤气，不然有可能引起更大的火灾，沿着安全通道向楼下跑，千万不能坐电梯，并求救。

防止食物中毒，首先要养成勤洗手的习惯，不吃过期食物，不吃被蟑螂、蚊子咬过的食物，不在外面吃不卫生的食物，一旦发生食物中毒，首先喝水，催吐，尽快去医院就医。

要防止溺水意外的发生，必须去正规的游泳馆，不能去河边，湖边，水库等地方游泳，因为不知道里面的深浅以及水草等，如果看到溺水的人，要第一时间呼救，如果自己还是小孩，不能去救，要寻求大人的帮助。

11月20日 星期四 晴

很多天以前我们就得到消息，省外一家外文出版社今天要到本系招2名英文编辑。一打听，要求还挺高，不但学习成绩进入全系前二十名，还要在英文刊物上发表过文章。仔细掂量了一下自己的实力，我的成绩是全系第十五，这个条件我符合;至于在英文刊物上发表文章，这个条件就有点难了，整个专业也许没几个吧。去还是不去呢?思虑再三，还是去试试。

招聘会在语音室进行。前来应聘的人数不是很多，也就十多人吧。大概是学习成绩这个条件让很多人望而生畏。面试开始了，应聘者依次拿着自己的简历和面试老师面对面坐着交谈。时间大概是3分钟。在我前面的几名同学，和面试老师的交谈了不到一分钟，就灰溜溜地走了，连简历也没有留下。很显然，他们都被淘汰了。

该我上场了。果然，面试老师一得知我没有发表文章的经历，连我的简历也没有看，客气地对我说了声“抱歉”。然后就招呼下一位了。

睡前总结：也许是第一次参加应聘吧，感觉很失败。毕业求职时发现自己学到的东西并不太多。对没有工作经验的我来说，平时的经验就是很好的积累。我很后悔大学前三年没有好好练笔写些稿子。

11月22日 星期六 阴

前天那场招聘会，被隔壁班的两位英语高人给抢走了，听说待遇还不错。签就签了吧，至少少了两个竞争对手，好单位还多着呢。

在武汉科技会展中心，今天有场“武汉8校联合招聘会”，我早早地买了门票，攥着几天前就准备好的6份简历进了场。其中4份是准备应聘翻译的，另外两份应聘英文报刊编辑。其实我的“硬件”还算过得去——专业八级，计算机三级，还有两次“院三好学生”和两次二等奖学金。找个翻译的工作，胜算应该比较大吧。

会场人很多，我绕场转了两圈，仅发现两家英文报刊在招广告策划，想想和自己的专业沾了点边，我毫不犹豫地把简历递了过去。

对方仔细看我的简历，问了一句：“你是学广告策划的吗?”

他刚才不是看了吗?怎么还问我?我说：“不是，我是英语专业的。我对你们的工作岗位……”“对不起，我们不要其他专业的!”还没说完，对方就很不耐烦地打断了我的话。

睡前总结：今天的收获几乎为零。宿舍小文总结我的失败之处在于跨专业求职。想来也对，跨专业求职对普通学生难度太大，除非事前有很好的准备。今天的失败应该在于没考虑自己的专业因素吧。

11月27日 星期四 阴

谢天谢地，终于迎来第一场针对本专业的招聘会。宿舍的几位姐妹都起床忙于梳妆打扮。我早早地起来，又把自己的简历看了一遍，按求职意向分门别类整理了一下自己的思路。挤进会场后，我先绕场一周了解大致情况，然后有针对性地把我的简历投了出去。

我们专业不过500来人，而整个会场人数足足有一两千。我甚至还瞥见有位同学来自广东省的中山大学。

到底是针对英语专业，让我感觉自己能胜任在场的所有职位。上午我去一家外贸公司应聘高级翻译。面试老师用英语问起了一些有关我家庭成员和籍贯的问题，虽然谈不上对答如流，却也算是表达清晰。后来又和我聊起了今年年初流行的SARS病的相关问题知识，我的语句就开始不通畅了。最后我感觉对方有点落井下石，竟问起了今年诺贝尔化学奖的得主来自哪个国家。我支吾了半天，只好“SORRY”。

还是再试试另一家报社的英文编辑吧。

展位前的椅子上已经坐了好多前来应聘的人。我刚要找个地方坐下，中间一位老师就站起来宣布面试开始。接着发给大家每人一张试卷。要求在半个小时内完成。

我瞅了瞅周围的人，他们看上去相当认真。题目是十个选择填空题和一篇作文改错。几个选择题似乎很简单，几分钟我就完成了。那篇作文是有关神州5号飞船升空的，反复看了好几遍，才找到一处语法错误。眼看时间快到了，我胡乱地改了几处单词。然后把试卷交了上去。

那位戴眼镜的老编辑花了几分钟看完了我们的试卷，当场宣布5人进入下一轮面试，其余的人全部淘汰。原因是只有这5人记得神州5号升空的日子。

为什么平时不多看看报纸呢。这么重要的错误也没发现?下次还是小心点吧。

睡前总结：两个这么好的工作就被我这样给糟蹋了。我发现虽然自己专业已经是八级，但口语什么的好象还不太够用，而要命的是我平时除了集中学习专业知识，对外界的关心太少了。 翻译和编辑两种工作都需要大量的社会知识积累。我败在了平时。

12月1日 星期一 阴

连续两天，华中科技大学和武汉科技会展中心召开了两场招聘会。天很冷，但依然高兴，因为两天的奔波换来了三个面试机会。

一是本市一家进出口贸易公司，我应聘副总经理秘书，二是一家企业缺个策划，再就是市中心一所重点高中的英语教师。我根据自己的优势和硬件，集中对英语教师进行了精心准备。想到面试时多半会要求我上台试讲，我还特地请教了我们的英语老师，让他为我作了特别辅导。

果然不出我所料，那位老校长要我上讲台授课，4位老师临时充当我的学生。好在我提前做了准备，一上讲台，我就着那本高中英语课本绘声绘色地讲了起来。加上我们高中学过那篇课文，我发挥比较出色。20分钟后，老校长叫停，而后就和几位老师开始了讨论。

说实话，虽然紧张，但我对自己的发挥还是比较满意。果然，老校长对我说：“刘小姐，你已经通过了我们的面试，如果你是真诚喜欢这个职位的话，请随时拨打我的电话，我等你的好消息。”说完，递过来一张名片。

睡前总结：那一刻，我几乎要高兴得喊出来。为了工作，我已经整整奔波了10 天了。今天终于尝到了被录用的甜头。嘿嘿。
