Today is Friday .I am very happy .Because I spent the happiness in the

school a day .I jump the big rope with classmates .Do you know there is affair

Aducation is not an end, but a means to an end. In other words, we do not

educate children only for educating them. Our purpose is to fit them for

life.

In some modern countries it has been fashionable to think that free

education for all can solve all the problems of society and build a perfect

nation. But we can already see that free education for all is not enough.We find

in such countries a far larger number of people with university degrees refusing

to do what they think is "low"work, and. in fact, working with ones hands is

thought to be dirty and shameful in such countries.

But we have only to think a moment to understand that the work of a

completely uneducated farmer is far more important than that of a professor~ we

can live without education,but we die if we have no food. If no one cleaned our

streets and took the rubbish away from our houses, we should get terrible

diseases in our towns.

In fact, when we say that all of us must be educated to fit us for life, it

means that we must be educated in such a way that, firstly, each of us can do

whatever work is suited to his brains and ability and, secondly, that we can

realize that all jobs are necessary to society, and that it is very bad to be

ashamed of ones work. Only such a type of education can be considered valuable

to society.

今天是暑假的第一天，我经历了一件很特别的事情：一个人在家。相信很多和我同龄的人都经历过一个人在家，但是像我这么长久的独自在家应该并不多见。

在学校开完休业式，已是中午时分。正午时分的太阳太大方了，把所有的光芒都洒向大地，金色耀眼的光简直可以把草的水分全部晒干，我稍稍一踩就可以粉碎成灰。我顶着烈日，稍微动一动，身上的汗就流成了小河，我只能一步一步地向校外“爬”去，就在我无助的时候，救星妈妈开着车来接我了。但是妈妈接我回家吃完午饭，就打算出门工作了，而且晚饭也不能回家吃。这也意味着暑假中我的第一个考验来临：长达6小时的独自在家而且还要独自做饭。

两点钟，妈妈走了，我情不自禁的想往电脑边靠，可我也在一遍一遍的告诫自己不能玩游戏，不能辜负妈妈的信任，几个小时忍下来了，我终于抵制了游戏的诱惑，我感到很自豪。接下来就是最令我难忘的一件事，要单独烧一顿晚饭。我想了好久，决定做我最拿手的番茄蛋汤，我做的汤在家庭菜谱中颇有名气。但是，以前都是在妈妈的辅助下完成的，今天就是完完全全地由自己主勺了。结果在烧的时候状态百出：首先我自作多情地加了一块黄油，结果不仅没让汤变得美味，而且在放进去的时候溅了我一胳膊的汤，要不是我用冷水洗了几遍，我的胳膊就会变成生烤人肉片了。另外，然后，因为懒，淀粉和水没有和好，倒到汤里调汁的时候变成一个一个块状物体，吃的时候简直恶心得我想吐了。

第一次在家，第一次烧饭，这虽然是一个艰难的过程，但也是一件有意义的事情，它让我知道做饭是多么不容易，父母照顾我们多么的不易。还让我知道，我完全可以依靠内心的力量抵制游戏诱惑。这次一个人在家的经历令我终生难忘。

It is universally acknowledged that Senior Three is undoubtedly a critical phase of life. The school life is extremely busy, so our monitor suggests that we have an outing to relax ourselves this weekend.

It is terrific! After a month s study, I feel we really need a break for one day, and so do some of my friends. Senior Three should not be filled with study only and relaxation is also an important part. Sometimes relaxation is more useful than an hour s hard work. Today is a wonderful day! In the morning, it is very fine! Then I climb the

climbing The Great Wall

During the summer holidays， my fahter and I visited Beijing. On the second day after we got to Beijing， the guide took us to climb the Great Wall. On that day， it was sunny.
