As a student, there are a lot of methods we can do to save energy at home. For example, first, we can turn off the light as well as other appliances when we are not using them. Second, recycle the waste water, paper and other waste so that we can reuse them. Whats more, it is suggested to use public transportation more instead of private cars.

Above all, everyone can make a great contribution to our environment. I hope I can learn more to develop new and clear energy, like energy from the wind and solar.

The simplest water pollution definition would be any contamination of water bodies with some pollutant(s) that changes physical,biological,and chemical conditions of any body of water making this water harmful for environment and surrounding ecosystems.

Water pollution occurs once too much pollutants (mostly in form of different waste) are discharged directly or indirectly into water bodies.Water pollution does not only cause great environmental damage but is also the leading worldwide cause of deaths and diseases responsible for the deaths of more than 14,000 people each day,mostly in developing countries.

Many people are not aware that water pollution is serious problem in almost all parts of the world,and not just in third world countries like some choose to believe.In fact many experts will tell you that reality is completely different than the common belief,and that actually water pollution problem is already out of control.

Water pollution problem is in most cases connected with the careless handling of chemical agents,toxins introduced into our water through industrial dumping,and farm runoff.All these factors make our water unsafe to drink.

人们都认为老虎只不过是一种动物，是没有感情的。但是，这个暑假里，我看了一本名叫《虎娃金叶子》的书。动物小说大王——沈石溪用拟人的手法，淋漓尽致地向我们展现了一段感人心肺的人虎之情。

在老挝、缅甸和泰国的三国交界处有一个名叫郎雀的爱尼族小寨，有一个名字叫做“六指头”的婴儿就出生在这里。一般的人都只有每只手五根手指头，而他却有六根手指头。也正是这个原因，使得他迫不得已逃到深山老林里隐居。从此，他就一个人孤苦伶仃的靠打猎谋生，成了一个“野人”。他捡了一只小老虎，把它当做自己的女儿来养育。她名叫金叶子。六指头和金叶子整天形影不离，就好似一对好朋友似的。在金叶子小的时候，六指头天天用新鲜的肉来熬成粥喂它；金叶子长大了，就外出帮六指头捕捉活的野兽来报答六指头的养育之恩。每当六指头锁定了猎物，只要一吹口哨，金叶子就会“速速领命”，前去捉拿猎物。一眨眼的功夫，金叶子就满载而归回到六指头身边了，真是默契无比啊！在六指头身陷危难的时候，作为女儿的金叶子，及时“舍命相救”，保住了六指头的命，可自己却在发出一声惊天动地的啸声后中弹倒地身亡了。

明静的夜空上，一轮皓月已渐渐攀高了，震耳欲聋的虎啸声早已挥之远去。

“金叶子”这个响亮的名字已经在我的脑海中留下了深深地烙印，这对人虎情深的“父女”向我们诠释了亲情的力量是多么伟大,也告诉了我们：人类应该和动物们和平共处。

现在，已经有很多动物们受到人类的伤害了。它们常常被我们捕杀，有好多的珍稀物种也已经濒临灭绝，一旦动物都灭绝了，那么，人类离死亡的距离也不远了。所以，我们的命运和动物们是紧紧相连的，让我们不再杀戮，保护动物们，就是在保护我们自己。

我的梦想就是能够成为一个有爱心的人，保护动物，就像六指头一样，去阻止那些试图捕杀小动物的人，让那些小动物们安安全全、快快乐乐的生活着。我呼吁“保护动物，从我做起！”从现在开始让我们，行动起来，保护动物，不再让它们受到伤害。我的梦，中国梦！相信只要经过努力我的梦想一定能够实现！

Improve our environment

Good environment can make people feel happy. To improve the environment means to qualify our life . What should we do to improve our environment ?

We should plant more trees . And we should prevent those factories from pouring waste water into rivers , lakes and fields . Whenever we see litter on the ground , we should pick it up and throw it into a dustbin . Don’t spit in public places . Don’t draw on public walls . It’s our duty to keep our earth clean and tidy .

良好的环境能使人觉得愉快。改善环境，使我们的生活。我们应该做什么来改善我们的环境?

我们应该种更多的树。我们应该阻止那些工厂废水流入河流，湖泊和田野。每当我们看到地上的垃圾，我们应该把它捡起来扔到垃圾桶。不要在公共场所吐痰。不要在公共墙上画。这是我们的职责，保持地球的干净和整洁的。
