Saving Water

The world is not only hungry,but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earths surface is covered with water. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink and use the other 3% -- the fresh water that comes from rivers, lakes,underground, and other sources. And we cannot even use all of that, because some of it is in the form of icebergs and glaciers. Even worse, some of it has been polluted.

However, as things stand today, this small amount of fresh water, which is constantly being replaced by rainfall, is still enough for us. But our need for water is increasing rapidly-- almost day by day. Only if we take steps to deal with this problem now can we avoid a severe worldwide water shortage later on. A limited water supply would have a bad effect on agriculture and industry. Let me give you just one small exampie of how necessary water is to industry. We all have to learn how to stop wasting our precious water. One of the first steps we should take is to develop ways of reusing it. Experiments have already been done in this field, but only on a small scale. For us, the systems are as important as the spacecraft.

Advice on Protecting Wild Animal

Many animals are in danger of dying out。 As is shown in the chart， we can see the number of animal species decreases faster and faster and this trend will continue。 From 1980 to 2010， at least 1 million animal species have disappeared。 Worse still， more and more wild animals are in great danger。 It is not a piece of sensational news; it is a fact， a harsh reality。 Unfortunately， we may not see these animals in the near future。

既然都是生命，为何不能和平共处呢?同样都是生在地球，把动物当成老乡，当成邻居，多好啊!我不袭击它，他不杀我，井水不犯河水，己所不欲勿施于人。有好东西分它一点，它有困难帮他一把，互相信任了，说不定它还帮你抓害虫呢。当然，这是在吃素的条件下才成立的。)这样一辈子下来，不但没有造孽，还积了不少德。

我是吃素的，有人说我亏了，我问为什么，他说：“有那么多美味吃不到，长不出健壮的身体。”可现在呢?我吃的东西比谁都好吃，我比任何人都健康，健壮虽说不是第一，但也不错。吃肉还会弄出那么多名堂，非典啦，禽流感啦。所以说，吃素很健康，还保住了不少动物的性命。

现在越来越多的动物濒临灭绝了，我希望大家珍惜它们，不要因为一己之利或者面子去杀害它们，好吗?

近年经常有不法分子非法猎杀，食用野生动物。大家都知道动物是人类的朋友，野生动物更是大自然的精华，国家也颁布了保护野生动物的法律，可有些不法分子还是大量捕杀野生动物。这样会导致野生动物灭绝，还会破坏生态平衡。

人们猎杀野生动物主要是因为人们为了美食而大量捕杀野生动物。对于保护野生动物，我提出以下几点建议：

1、禁止人类使用一切野生动物，干扰野生动物的栖息、生活。

2、各盛市野生动物保护区加强对野生动物的保护，对捕杀野生动物的不法分子严厉惩罚。

3、禁止人类近距离接触一切来历不明的野生动物，以免爆发瘟疫，造成大量的人生损失和财产损失，以至扑杀大量野生动物。

4、医务部门要做好防御瘟疫病毒的措施，以免爆发瘟疫时扑杀太多野生动物。

以上建议是否可行，请大家多考虑。
