How to adapt youself to college life

There are obvious differences between high school life and college life. First,college students will live in the dormitory with classmates who come from various places, and who may have different living habits. Second,college teachers ,instead of explaning in detail how to solve every problem, might only tell different approaches to the problem, and leave students to study and solve problems independently. Finally, in college,there is more free time for students to spend on.

However how should the college freshman adapt himself to these differeces. First of all, he should learn to be tolerant and consider more for others,which is necessary for group living. Its New Years Day today. This morning when I got up, I heardsomebody singing a love song. It was mum! Ifelt very strange because Iknew mum didnt enjoy popular songs. And I didnt think it was suitable formy middle-aged mother to sing any love songs. Whats more, dad wasfollowing what mum was singing. "What had happened to them?" Then Inoticed a box with a small card on the table. I got close to it carefully andunderstood then. As a matter of fact, it was their 15th marriage anniversarytoday. Thats why they were so happy. When seeing their happiness, I alsofelt happy.

This Saturday, I learned to ride a bike, and I thought to myself, "will I fall down?" Thinking, thinking, feeling anxious.

竞赛开始了，老师在我们两个队各挑了一个人，让他们到黑板前写单词，“斗”了几个回合后，我们组领先了两分，对方恼羞成怒，拼命想把比分给扳回来。可是在读单词环节中他们又输惨了，结果现在我们已经领先四分了。到最后一个抢答的环节了，老师说：“这个项目是考验你们的反应能力的，猛虎队还有扳回比分的机会，要加油呀！”猛虎队员们一个个跃跃欲试，摩拳擦掌，看起来要和我们拼一个你死我活，鱼死网破了。你看在比赛中他们都反应神速，你争我抢的回答问题，可我们的队员也不是好惹得，个个争的面红耳赤，最后徐老师统计比分，我们“雏鹰队”以26：17这样悬殊的差距赢得了比赛。徐老师说：“下次你们猛虎队要加油啊！”

下课了，我们的队员还嘲笑地说：“你们地上跑的还是不如我们天上飞的吧，哈哈哈！”

刚开始，当然是可恶的站军姿，而且它还要陪伴我们一向到阅兵结束……想想都心寒啊。我果然“不负众望”，在快到中午时，最后感到头有些晕晕的了。起初是有些恶心，之后是两眼发黑，然后头就开始眩晕，整个身体失去平衡……要不是旁边的人扶住我，此刻我可能因为脸部着地而毁容了，后果不堪设想啊～本以为坚持就会挺过去，但是当整个身体向前倾的时候，我发现，有些事情不是靠意志就能控制住的。

无聊的上午好慢，时间像蜗牛爬，毒辣的太阳却不肯休息，炙烤着可怜的我们，感觉自我都快冒烟了，加点盐就能吃了……

下午当我们没精打采地又来到操场时，却听到了一个天大的好消息，下午整理内务!哈哈，我们是哼着小曲回到宿舍的，心里那个激动啊!教官叠了一个标准的“豆腐块”给我们看，就让我们自我回去试试。但是我试了很久，却只能弄出一个“馒头”来，无奈啊。

yesterday my mother said to me that she would go to Fujian with my uncle. it suriprised me, because everything changs so fast, mom always want to go with them, now her dreamcould come true, at first ,I didnt realize that she will go there, as my little brother, he is only 12. and dad is also so hard, on one hand,I agree with my mom, since she is ill, she need to have a rest. andI hope she can get well soon, on the otherI am against, when i go home, i always want to see my family sit there to wait for me.I think the child need the parents love. to bea child, nothing can be a substitute for the love he needs from his parents and the people around him, they often told us... but we more want our parents around us.I willbemore happiness than my brother,when I go to middle school. they are around me, bur now they all have to earn money for us. i cried when i remembered mother father brother.....

I often eat fruit and vegetables. Apples and oranges are my favorites. I love junk food, too, and I eat it three or four times a week. I sleep less than seven hours ever day. I often feel sleepy. I brush my teeth once a day. I run in the morning, and play ping-pong after school. In my free time, I enjoy surfing the Internet. On weekends, I often go to the movies with my friends.

I think I’m kind of unhealthy. I shouldn’t eat too much junk food. I’ll try to have a balanced diet and sleep more. I should brush my teeth twice a day. I hope I can have a better lifestyle.
