oh god! i think i was about seven and half when my sisters and i pulled this stupid stunt. i remember watching television with them and the show on happened to be our favorite program to watch. all of a sudden we heard my brother, chris, yelling from the backyard. so we all headed out there to see what happened. when we finally located him, he was in a tree hanging from the highest tree branch. crying, he explained to us that he had climbed up the tree and couldnt get down. we thought, okay, one of us should climb up and get him off, but we couldnt manage to get him moving down.

it was then my youngest sister, ka, who was five and a half at the time had seen a similar situation. she suggested we grab a sheet, hold it under the branch chris was hanging off of, and tell him to drop so we can catch him. my other sister, yams, who is one year younger than me, peered at me to confirm the idea and i said "yeah, lets try that".so we grabbed a sheet from the closet and went to hold it beneath the tree. now mind you, the ages holding this blanket were ranging from seven and a half to five and a half, thus the sheet was probably being held up to our waist and also close to touching the ground. but we were confident it could work.

we looked up to chris and he looked down at us a bit hesitant. i dont blame him the poor guy. it was then we told him to let go and to fall on his back. chris looked at me and asked "are you sure ill land on the blanket?" now, my brother at the age of four, had a cute squeaky voice. but because of a problem at birth with his tongue being a bit attached to the mouth, it came out more like this, "ah you sho awill lan on da blanked?", "yup!", i told him, "were sure!" and he let go.now when i think about chris letting go of that branch, i think of his faith in me and my sisters and i also think how stupid he was to trust us, cause when that boy let go he was in for a big surprise. chris fell right through that sheet and landed right on his stomach. and no matter how tight we held on to the sheet, he still managed to get through.

we were shocked and a bit worried and we looked at the ground where he landed. this tiny seventy pound boy had made a hole right through the sheet and landed. he was positioned like one of those chalk drawings you find after a homicide, with one arm near the head another to the side and the knee bent a bit. we might as well have drawn an outline because he wasnt moving. so we bent down to check if he was still alive and when we asked him if he was okay he uttered these five words… "ah stee hi da flow" in other words, "i still hit the floor!" poor little man! but before you condemn us, chris is fourteen now and he still bugs us about it, any tree he climbs he gets down on his own and, strangely, he wants to be a fireman when he grows up. now he can write that he had personal experience about jumping and catching. see, no harm done…

hard to know what to say. Mainly because like most adults I feel preposterous

asking anything of you because our time with you is surely done. Now we get our

bastardised to represent materialism gone mad - despite probably originating in

spontaneously combusting hoverboards... Kidadults cynically pointing this out

after having their moment of belief in you are wasting everyones precious time.

Because you are not for them. You are for the children. Children who need some

magic in a world where the borders between innocence and responsibility, playful

imagination and cold, adult obstacles are continually shrinking.

This is what Id like to ask you to help with. A little more time for

children to be children. Stretch the moment of magic and playfulness. Distract

them from the realities of a world gone mad so that they can laugh with their

breath rather than sob with their tears. Especially those caring for family

members, or suffering illness, hunger or poverty. Especially those hiding in

buildings as bombs rain down, or being handed shaking with fear or cold into a

boat to escape environmental disaster or war. Please help to light up their

worlds with a moment of joy and hope.

When I think about it youve got it tough this year... And when I really

think about it Im not sure that asking you for a lightsaber and getting one

(not that I ever did by the way) is equatable with controlling the space time

continuum and making the good of childhood last a little longer.

But you do inspire wonder and awe amongst those that write you letters and

go to sleep hoping there might be a new object in their possession come dawn.

You inspire good behaviour and, at least in my memory, some desperate last

minute attempts to redeem bad behaviour so as not to be overlooked. Spare a

thought too for those millions who want to write to you but through illiteracy

cant. Hear their words and help to give them the time and chance to learn how

to read and write so they can better their lives and escape their impoverished

beginnings.

I feel a little sorry for you. And I guess Ive done exactly what I said I

wouldnt... Asked you to help with adult problems and solve some of the greatest

worries we have for our children. I promise to leave some extra port and mince

pies for you!

即便是天才，那也只是个结果。也就是说，他第一次写小说就红遍大江南北，地球内外，比如JK罗琳。但是，假如你把这些天才们的过往经历查探一遍，你会发现，他们未写之时，并未放弃思考，一直在为写作小说积累素材，也许在他们的意识里，这小说已经磨砺了千百万遍，呼之欲出。真正的创作过程，并不是从你提起笔那一刻开始的，在那更久远的从前，你的人生就已经在为此做准备。不少成名作家都说：我要创作的故事已经在那里了，我只不过是把它写出来而已（JK罗琳说《哈利波特》的灵感来源于一次乘火车的经历，而书里面的人物都来源于她的身边，赫敏甚至带有她自己的影子）。

我和几个熟悉的作者聊天说：你们想想，你现在写网文并不是突发奇想，至少从十年前就已经种下了这枚兴趣的种子。当你们拿起第一本课外书，开始勾画那个属于自己的迷幻天空的时候，就注定了今天你们选择网文这一行。

我们写小说故事的时候注重因果律，其实对我们自己来说，也一样在遵循因果律。过往十几年甚至几十年的积累，逐渐在改变我们的选择。所以，当你提起笔，一炮而红时，你会明白：过去的淡没有白扯，过去的天没有白聊，过去的闲书没有白看。

如果你并不喜欢讲故事给别人听，并不喜欢写作，写作并不让你感到兴奋、开心，只是因为要赚钱而来写商业小说，那么，我劝你早点放弃，因为要赚钱的话，有千万种办法比写小说更轻松。

虽然我们写的是商业小说，有各种规律、套路可以遵循，甚至仅靠模仿就能写出一篇合格的小说，但我们一定要明白：写作真的是有门槛的，除了专业性之外，创作的冲动同样重要。文学天堂的大门，只为那些爱好写作的人而开。

因为我想写，因为我想讲故事给你们听，因为我想把我胸中的世界分享给你们，这就是文学的冲动！

二、网络文学同样需要理论研究，网文作者同样需要学习创作技巧！

网络文学也是文学，它为整个文学市场带来两个巨大的改变：

从创作上，它通过降低创作和发表的门槛，带来了一个数百万人的写作市场；

从阅读上，它通过长篇连载的玄幻、言情等通俗文学满足了超过两亿国人的娱乐需求。

在网络文学诞生之前，作品“发表”是极为不易的。作者通过向杂志、出版社主动投稿来实现自己的出版梦想，编辑通过对投稿的细读来挑选作品，并通过指导、包装作者，编辑、修缮作品来实现自己对内容质量的控制。在这样的二元结构里，能成功出版刊发的作品是极为有限的，往往出版一部书背后会有上百篇投稿被拒绝，从此不被人知晓。

网络文学的发展给沉闷的文学市场带来了雷鸣雨暴，依靠互联网的奇迹般拓展，崭新的运营模式建立起来，上亿的读者，几百万的创作者蜂拥而入，把整个文学市场带到了一个前所未有的高度，一时优秀作品辈出，众多作者实现了“创作改变人生”，成为百万、千万富翁。 网络文学的兴起有必然性也有偶然性。传统的文学市场，更看重严肃文学，对通俗文学市场做的不够好，在评奖和引导方面都更偏向于严肃文学或者说是纯文学，对小说的娱乐性看的不够。另外编审制度也比较严格，很多没有经验的创作者都被挡在了发表的门槛之外，从而缺少读者支持。而世纪初互联网的兴起，为网络文学的爆发提供了很好的外在条件，大规模复制和热点传播都成为了可能。当然我认为最重要的是比较低的发表门槛，依靠庞大的作者基数，依靠点击率的筛选方式，迅速形成传播热点，一大批网文的代表作开始迅速流行。

我们知道基数大，人多了，NB的人就会多，我们看到了很多很多的作者因为网络文学这套自动的筛选走向成功，但我们也应该看到，虽然网络让成千上万的人实现了写作梦，但发表并不意味着成功，发表仅仅意味着你向出版社、杂志社完成了投稿。如果这就让你已经满足，那么你并不是一个合格的创作者。请记住：永远不要对自己满足，假如你真的要迈入写作的殿堂的话。

关于文学殿堂，这里多说一句：我们认为通俗文学和严肃文学只是一种文学概念的划分，供研究之用，但对市场而言并没有任何意义，自然也就没有什么高下之分。比如《红楼梦》，现在各种赞誉，但其实在当时只是一本通俗小说罢了。不要在文学里划分阶层，那是政治，属于小说的只有一个标准：故事好不好看。

故事好不好看，靠什么来评定？批评家有批评家的角度，大众有大众的角度，这些角度是可以被罗列的，之后做文艺理论的时候，我们会提及。现在，我们先来解决更前臵的问题：

好看的故事从何而来？

答案是：从作者们的脑袋里来！

我们看到了有些作者天资聪颖，未经任何学习和指导一开始写作就大红大紫，我们也看到绝大多数作者不得其门而入，甚至连基本的故事结构都会出问题，想找人帮助都找不到。我们赞叹那些成功者，希望他们能一直成功，能从自发创作到自觉创作；我们也必须时刻关注那些亟待帮助的新人，因为网络文学的发展太快，变化太多，而传统的文学院模式还来不及对其进行现象总结、分析，最终形成理论对学生进行指导。

必须承认，目前网络小说的理论研究还跟不上行业的发展，跟不上作者的创作水平，这是发展中出现的问题，我们知道发展中的问题一定可以通过发展来解决。但是，我们必须注意网络文学在发展的过程中出现的两种比较危险的倾向：

第一种是妄自尊大。认为网文是独一无二的，感觉老子天下第一，谁都不放在眼里，作者感觉没谁能指导我，只要读者喜欢，写什么都无所谓，反正就是卖个商品，包子做的再难吃，只要有人买就是好包子。这种说法不但在很多满怀壮志的新人作者、甚至在部分成名作者群体里都有一定的市场；

第二种是妄自菲薄。作品不红，没有人看，立刻把自己贬低到无以复加的地步，到处求医问药，甚至开始否定网文，跟着某些时代的落伍者开始鼓吹网文“毒草”论、“垃圾”论。

这都不是正确的态度。

实话说，网文的源创新并不多，更多的是微创新。现在大行其道的类型小说也好，令人眼前一亮的各种新颖设定也好，在整个大的艺术形式里都不新鲜，都找的到源头。网文的好处在于开放、宽容，所以可以大量借用以往的文学乃至其他艺术形式：比如网游、魔幻电影、动漫、美、日、韩、TVB等电视剧的元素，最终形成独具特色的网络小说文化，反过来对其他文学样式进行影响，这是我看到最欣喜的一面，鲜明的体现了网络特色。

所以，我们完全没必要妄自尊大，也没必要妄自菲薄。

我一贯强调要研究网络文学本身，不仅研究文本，研究现象，更需要研究文艺创作理论，真正的把好作品发掘出来，推广出来，总结经验，创造条件，帮助作者把好故事讲好。

作者知道的越多，就对写作本身敬畏的越多。写的越多，就越发觉出自己的无力与浅薄。真正在写作上入门的人才会知道学无止境，写无止境，最终才会不断进步，创作出一部部的精品力作。

三、网络文学作者怎样提高创作技巧？

网络文学的创作者需要注意的是两个问题：

1， 先要有好故事；

2， 要把故事讲好；

第一个问题，主要靠作者自身去积累、去沉淀、去发现、去观感世界、去表达爱与正义等等，但是好的故事并不仅仅就是个构思，它需要完整的世界、环境、人物、故事情节、矛盾冲突等等。打个比方，你的灵光一闪那仅仅就是个创意的源头，想成为大江大河还早着呢。仍然以JK罗琳举例，她在火车站看到哈利波特那样形象的一个小巫师，从而激发了她创作的灵感。但大家很清楚一个鲜明的形象并不足以让整个故事大红于世界。当她构想出这样一个戴眼镜的小巫师对抗最邪恶的伏地魔，并且最终胜利的时候，才算有个故事的影子。

第二个问题，是用什么样的方式把好故事变成“现实”

举个例子来说：《白蛇传》是个好故事，因为不好它就没办法流传千年。在千年的演绎过程中，各种曲折离奇的故事纷纷加入进来，让一个简单的白蛇报恩故事变成了可以讲三天两夜的故事，有了小青，有了许仕林，有了水漫金山，有了小螃蟹里的老法海，有了雷峰塔的倒掉，有了儿子救母（这个是传统故事的典型，比如二郎神和他侄子沉香都是一样的模子）。

我想，没有一个行业是不需要进行专业学习的，如果上手特别容易，还不需要长期学习依然能保持竞争力，那只能说明行业要么还处于草莽期，要么处于衰败期。

在那些成熟的行业里，学习是最基本的要求。假如你要演奏小提琴，你肯定不会自己摸索着先拉起来再说；假如你想成为一名演员，你一定要先去想办法积累一些专业技能；假如你想成为一名编剧，不可能连编剧的常识、剧本的写法都不知道。在写作上，你同样也需要了解写作的常识，需要通过系统一点的学习来逐步实现自己的梦想。

《网络小说写作指南》就是这样的一部教程。它的写作目的就是教会那些刚进入网文行业，并没有太多文学基础的新手怎样写小说。当然它也并不排斥那些已经具备一些创作经验的作者，因为实际上太多的人不知道自己是怎样红的，自然也不知道自己是怎样失败的。

但凡是教程，必然要有一以贯之的行文逻辑、始终如一的培训理念，能成系统的论证和叙述，那么它的创作必然不是像《网络文学新人指南》那样的随笔式、栏目式写作，有感而发，因人而发，因事而发。

在这部作品里，我的写作纲要大致是这样的：

首先分上下部：

上部主要是理论方面，命名为“故事”。包括故事构思、人物、结构、场景、对话等。希望籍此让大家明白什么样的故事是好故事，好故事具有哪些要素，成功的作品为何成功，失败的作品为何失败，那么大家就能从理论的高度进行自筛自选，自我判断。这就是理论的力量，当你完全掌握了以后，就知道自己有多么强大。

下部主要是实践方面，命名为“写作”。包括类型、用户分析、写作手法等内容。通过这部分的讲解，相信大家会对网络小说的理解上一个台阶。至少你会说“哇哦，小说居然还可以从这些方面去分析，去入手”，如果你有这样的感悟并且立刻感觉到有提高，那么我的写作就非常的有价值了。

在我看来，这本教程的诞生和作者创作作品是同样的过程，同样需要进行构思、需要进行用户分析，同样要有创作日程表和时间安排，需要投入比以往更大的精力，而为了大量掌握文本，还需要进行较长时间的阅读，按照现在的计划，大约会读300部左右涉及到30个类型的典型作品，并且做一些有针对性的笔记。

这并不是一件简单的事，因为对我来说，目前在中文在线和17K小说网都承担比较重要的管理工作，所以时间上肯定会比较吃紧。但是，看大家的意愿了，如果你们需要这样一部教程，并且急迫的需要它，那么我会拿出更多的时间来进行写作。

这样的一部作品，肯定不会一挥而就，很大可能是会反复修订。那么在接下来三年时间里，就需要大家经常重看了。我会在作品相关里加一篇修订时间表，如果哪一部分被修订了，大家随时可以知道。

好吧。我知道这样一部教程，并不是我一个人可以完成的，最后感谢将在未来的日子里对我提供各种帮助的人们。到后记的时候，就知道他们是谁了。

PS：前言之所以命名为“必看”，并非是无可命题或者哗众取宠，而是认为：前言代表了我一以贯之的核心理念和创作意图，我知道现在的创作者们更追求更快的成功路径，往往对“戏肉”更关注，对各种创作秘笈更关注，但其实我想说的是：创作有方法，无捷径。

注2：网络文学的写作者们往往用“写手”这个词来称呼自己，用以区别传统的“作家”，“写手”从草根而来，在网络兴起，说着亲切，看着舒服，大家也没有不适感。不过我认为：网络是开放的，自由的，在网络上想写谁都可以写，所以称呼自己“写手”或者“写作者”没什么不妥。但如果要以此为生，并且准备长期写下去，请尽量接受“作家”或者“网络作家”这个称谓。因为这是你对自己的定位，至于原因，本书后面会讲。也许短期内你还不会认可，甚至有些排斥，但你要明白，从你决定走“小说写作”这条路的时候，你和那些随便写写的人就真的不同了。

销毁的主要方式有：焚毁、重新制成纸浆、粉碎、清洗消磁(磁盘、磁鼓、磁带)。

一、熟悉公文的基本格式

公文写作和文章写作有着千丝万缕的联系，但二者也有着极其大的差别，公文写作非常注重写作的格式，因为公务文书有一个显著的特征——规范的体式。这也就给广大考生提供了一个明确的信号，在复习备考公文写作题时一定要注意公务文书的基本格式，比如公务文书的三大组成部分(眉首、主体、版记)以及每个部分中所包含的一些基本要素(如：发文字号、标题、主送机关、成文日期、附件等)。尤其要注意每一个部分的特别之处，比如发文字号的书写格式，标题的书写规范，成文日期的书写规范以及位置要求等等，掌握好了这些基本的格式要求之后，我们的写作的公文就做到了“形似”。

二、熟悉每个文种的例文

有人说过这样一句话：“天下公文一大抄”，这句话或许存在一定的夸大成分，但更多地是给我们提供了一个备考方略——通过熟悉例文掌握公文写作。在熟悉了公文的基本格式以后我们能做到“形似”，但是要让写作的公文更加符合题目要求，得到更高的分数，考生在写作公文时还要让公文符合特定文种的一些基本特点，在形似的基础上做到特色突出。而要突出特色就要对每种文种进行深入的了解，熟悉例文是深入理解具体文种特色的最直接有效地途径。

三、注意特殊用语

公文写作过程中注意了前面两个方面，可以保障写出的文章没有形式上的错误或者问题，但要想得到高分特别是要和其他考生拉开差距更多地是要做到“神似”，这时候就要注意每种文种的特殊用语，比如请示的结束语使用错误就很容易形成扣分点，把“妥否，请批示”写成“妥否，请批准”，一字之差，语气就有天壤之别，得分也会有非常明显的差距。所以在备考公文写作的过程中一定要注意公文当中的特殊用语，这是公文达到神似的基础要求。

四、注意语言风格

许多考生在备考公文写作时也注意写作训练，希望通过多写多练来提高分数，这种做法值得表扬，但是在写作训练时一定要注意公文写作的文体要求，即公文的表达方式和语体特征。公文的表达方式包括叙述、说明、议论，以说明为主，在公文写作过程中一般不会使用抒情的表达方式，而有些考生在写作公文时神采飞扬，大发感慨，这样就违背了公文写作在表达方式上的要求;公文的语体特征是准确、简明、庄重、得体，一般不会出现网络流行词或者是新闻式的词语，而有些考生为了体现自己的与时俱进，在写作公文时大量使用时髦词语如“亲”“给力”等等，则违背了公文在语体特征上的要求。所以在写作公文时一定要使用规范的语言，或者使用“官方”语言，这样才会让我们写作的公文更加符合公文的“神”，也才更加符合考试的要求，也才能获得高分。
