It is reported that ten big cities in China are being  among the top twenty cities with the highest pollution index in the world. This means it is high time we did something to bring the situation under control.

Many factors are  to the deteriorating situation: industrial wastes pumped into the air, the lakes and rivers; a increasing number of automobiles crowding into the streets; the  use of plastic bags etc.

To my view, stiffer laws and regulations must be implemented to check pollution. Industries that release wastes without  should be heavily fined. parent raised his six children in Spokane, Washington. She was inspired by Anna

Jarviss efforts to establish Mothers Day. Although she initially suggested

June 5, the anniversary of her fathers death, she did not provide the

organizers with enough time to make arrangements, and the celebration was

deferred to the third Sunday of June. The first Fathers Day was celebrated on

June 19, 1910, in Spokane.

Unofficial support from such figures as William Jennings Bryan was

immediate and widespread. President Woodrow Wilson was personally feted by his

family in 1916. President Calvin Coolidge recommended it as a national holiday

in 1924. In 1966, President Lyndon Johnson made Fathers Day a holiday to be

celebrated on the third Sunday of June. The holiday was not officially

recognized until 1972, during the presidency of Richard Nixon.

Hong Kong is one of the two special administrative regions (SARs) of the Peoples Republic of China, along with Macau.
