What is April Fools Day and how did it begin? Well, that is a very good question. The origin of this holiday is rather uncertain. However, the common belief holds that during the reformation of the calendar the date for the New Year was moved from April 1st to January 1st. During that time in history there was no television and no radio so word spread slowly. There were also those who chose to simply ignore the change and those who merely forgot. These people were considered "fools" and invitations to non-existent parties and other practical jokes were played on them. Today is March 8th, the new term, the last but the most important term of junior high has been on for more than seven days. It means that there are only about three months left for us to study.

We suddenly feel that time passes so fast. We still remember the first day we come to this famous middle school, but now, two and a half years has passed. “父亲”这个词从我能记事的时候起就有种陌生的感觉。父亲永远不像母爱那样，母亲总是对我嘘寒问暖，而父亲总是对我的生活漠不关心，母亲总是对我的一丁点儿成就都夸耀很久，而父亲总是莫名的给我浇俩瓢冷水。母亲对我的失败总是千方百计的鼓励，而父亲总是冷冷的留下一个“哼”便转身离开。由于父亲的种种不关心，使我对父亲的感觉越来越淡，时间越长越感觉父亲不爱自己。
