We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there. It was hot and

United States. Thanksgiving Day is the most truly American of the national

Holidays in the United States and is most closely connected with the earliest

history of the country.

The pattern of the Thanksgiving celebration has never changed through the

years. The big family dinner is planned months ahead. On the dinner table,

people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes.There will be

plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry juice and squash.

The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and pumpkin pie. They

have been the most traditional and favorite food on Thanksgiving Day throughout

the years.

Everyone has a dream.

Now I want to say something about my dream. What is my dream? I often ask

myself. In my mind, everyone shall have his own dream. I think that having a

dream means that we have an idea, and then we will do all the things to achieve

the target. As long as we have a goal to be realized, we won’t be blind at

least.

My dream is to become a successful doctor, helping those sick people and

saving their lives. Of course, to be a good doctor is very difficult, but I will

Now I’m a junior student on Grade One, all my classmates and I are working

hard. We all know that the entrance exam of high schools coming in the year of

2009 is a big challenge for us, so we must study harder and harder in order to

go to a good high school. Thus after we finish our senior high school, we are

able to go to a good university. Finally, we can find a good job in society.

My dream is also that although at present I’m good at study, I’ll still try

my best to be the study winner. Now everything I do is close to my dream. I feel

life is fill with hope and is colorful, and I have enough confidence to realize

my dream.

I know that fantasy is something hard to realize, but dream can. I’ll work

hard for my dreams, I’ll never give up.

Today is the first day that we start our summer camp. Everybody is amazed

at the foreign teacher. They have white skin, yellow hair, blue eyes……But no one

is very beautiful or handsome.

I have a lovely bedroom. It is small but clean and beautiful. The wall is

我上新学期啦！老师早就讲完事情，发完书，让我们回家了。

回到家里，我拿来旧书和新书一比。旧书的封面被我贴满了贴纸，而新书就只有一张画和几个字，显得很冷清。我把旧书和新书翻到第一页，旧的第一页被数学的算式和一群数字淹没了，而新书还是显得没有色彩。我又随便地翻开了旧书，课文上一大堆的笔记。可是新书的课文比旧书的笔记和课文的文字长几倍。我同样把语文书翻到《古诗两首》那一课，旧书那边的古诗我都会背，诗意也很清楚。可是新书那里的古诗我不会背，还有些字不会读，诗意更加不懂。我照样把两书翻到《语文园地一》，旧书的《语文园地一》占了三页。我又翻回到封面，旧书上面还有一些灰尘。新书就不同，新书上面与众不同，摸上去还有一些冰凉，应该是被空调吹了好久。以后我要把新书的知识掌握好！

新书和旧书真是超级反差。

Mingming came to my house today. We spent some time playing computer games.

We played basketball game online. I chose NBA and Mingming had to take CBA. Of

course, I won finally. We had a good time.

明明今天来我家。我们一起玩电脑游戏。我们打在线篮球游戏。我选NBA 球队，明明只能选CBA球队。当然，我赢了。我们玩的很开心。

The hot sun is like our enthusiasm, because no matter how hot the weather

is, we still keep on studying English hard.

Today, the chinese teacher taught us some English songs. I like the song

which is called ”seasons in the sun” very much. We all lost ourselves in the

beautiful voice. Today our theme is youth. After the teacher spoke. I suddenly

understand that maybe being young is our advantage, so we must value every

minute. We have to do something significant.

In the afternoon, our American teacher is father who is an associate

proferssor of English from central college give us a lesson. He told us

something about higher education in the USA. I think it will be useful for our

future.

On the other side. I felt uncomfortable today. Perhaps it’s a small regret

for such a wonderful day. But I think tomorrow still will be rosy.

打雷啦(朱华勇)下雨啦(方镇宇)回家收衣服啦!(打架了)哇!一个尖叫功高手，一个冲天钻高手，究竟谁会赢了!每一件大事都是从一件小事发生的，而每一件小事都是从每一件大事发生的。林姝琪与鲍健伟在打架，章乐和鲍健伟好哥们儿，那自然鲍健伟和方镇宇是好哥们儿，所以方镇宇也来凑热闹。把朱华勇的书包弄到地上。就打起来了。朱华勇用脚往方镇宇脸上提，胆够大啊!方镇宇用绝招了冲天钻。冲天钻一手握拳食指往上提，突出关节，因为那里是最坚固，同时用的力也是最大的，打到别人，自己不痛。所以是最好的攻击武器。但是朱华勇也使出了尖叫功，尖叫功是狮吼功的一种，另一种是怒吼功，怒吼可以让别人耳朵很痛，尖叫功是尖音，可以入到耳膜。所以方镇宇用的力气就一半。但是毕竟朱华勇天天打架，把方镇宇打败了。

唉!天天打架，怎么办啊!

永生难忘的开学第一天是高一的开学第一天，从那一天开始我迎来了长达半年的迟到生涯，也是从那一天开始我意识到我有爱睡懒觉的坏毛病，也是从那一天开始预示着我一定会在某一天改变我的恶习，再也不睡懒觉，再也不迟到。

高一的开学第一天和初中的开学第一天、小学的开学第一天一样，我没有别的孩子那般憧憬学习的心态，有的只是满怀兴趣又觉无聊无趣只值一睡了之的心态，虽然在头一晚是激动地辗转反侧，然而开学第一天却一如往常的错过了闹钟、错过了妈妈的敲门声、错过了爸爸的顺风车。

站在坐满了第一天开学兴致饱满的学生的教室门口，冲着还满有耐心的老师，跑得气喘吁吁的我，小声地说了一句“抱歉，老师我迟到了”。老师放我进去了，没有罚我任何。一般这样的情况下，学生应该会引起重视，再也不想因为迟到而出现这样的尴尬场面了，然而我没有。在这一天迟到后，和小学、初中不同，我连着迟到了半年。在这半年里，我就像中了蛊一般，天天睡过头，天天迟到。从没有任何惩罚到罚打扫教室卫生，从罚打扫教室卫生到罚打扫高一年级区域卫生，从罚打扫高一年级区域卫生到罚打扫整个高中部的卫生，再到老师把我父母叫去学校，整整半年我都在迟到。现在回想一下，那就是一场噩梦吧?后来的我再也没有睡过懒觉，再也没有迟到过，是因为妈妈真正生气了。一直以来妈妈对我是宠爱有加的，她也不觉得睡睡懒觉就会影响学习，可她没想到我一睡就“睡”了半年，一迟就迟了半年。在老师把家长叫去学校教育之后，妈妈在我睡过头又要迟到的时候，把家里的一把椅子砸向了我。这是第一次看看妈妈发这么大的火，没有什么话，只是一把砸向我的椅子，虽然没有砸中我的人，却砸中了我的心，从此以后，我再也没有睡过懒觉，再也没有迟过到。

这个“开学第一天”算是我命中的一个节点，时间观念算是我在“开学第一天”这一天学到的最有意义的一课。
