A few years ago, I went to Beijing. I really had a great time there.

The first time I went to Beijing, I was very confused. Beijing was very

big. It was so big that I couldn’t find the right directions. And the traffic

was always so busy.

During my staying in Beijing, I visited so many places of interest, such as

the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, and so

on. I also went to Wangfujing shopping mall. But things were very expensive. So

What’s more, the most exciting thing for me was taking the underground.

Jane immediately hurries back to Thornfield and finds that it has been burned to the ground by Bertha Mason, who lost her life in the fire. Rochester saved the servants but lost his eyesight and one of his hands. Jane travels on to Rochester’s new residence, Ferndean, where he lives with two servants named John and Mary.

At Ferndean, Rochester and Jane rebuild their relationship and soon marry. At the end of her story, Jane writes that she has been married for ten blissful years and that she and Rochester enjoy perfect equality in their life together. She says that after two years of blindness, Rochester regained sight in one eye and was able to behold their first son at his birth.

It was the first day of our summer holiday. All of us were very happy. Why?

Because we have one months to do things we love to do. We are free.Although we

have some homework. But we can finish them in several days. And the rest time we

can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard studying. In

winter holidays, I want to have full sleepand eat good food in order to

replenish myself. Last but not the least, I will have a good rest.

从小到大的，我最喜欢做的事就是读书，我读过许许多多的书，有《永远的布谷鸟》、《乌丢丢的奇遇》、《小狐狸买手套》、还有《窗边的小豆豆》……

对我来说读书有许多好处。不仅可以帮助我在做阅读的时候，更好的理解文章的意思，而且可以让我运用到更好的好词、好句，还可以让我们学到很多知识，明白很多道理。读书让我们快乐!读书让我们有更多的欢声笑语!

其中，我最喜欢看《居里夫人》。居里夫人也和我们一样，从小喜欢与大自然亲密接触，哥白尼曾是她的榜样。伟大无私的她、谦虚质朴的高尚品格，坚毅刻苦、锲而不舍的顽强精神，她发现了两种元素——钋和镭，她一生获得了两次诺贝尔奖。有谁能想像，她是镭的“母亲”，将巨大的财富贡献给了全世界，自己却连做研究用的1克镭也买不起。作为一位伟大的女性，她赢得了世界人民的同情、支持和敬仰。

读了《居里夫人》，我觉得我应该向她学习，学习她不向困难低头，学习她坚毅刻苦的顽强精神。我现在要好好学习，长大做一个向她一样的科学家。

The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingways most enduring works.Told in language of great simplicity and power,it is the story of an old Cuban fisherman,down on his luck,and his supreme ordeal——a relentless,agonizing battle with a giant marlin far out in the Gulf Stream.Here Hemingway recasts,in strikingly contemporary style,the classic thene of courage in the face of defeat,of personal triumph won from los.Written in 1952,this hugely successfully novella confirmed his power and presence in the literary world and played a huge part in his winning the 1954 Nobel Prize for Literature. The novel is very famous in the world, so lot of people like this novel. We also studied it in our Chinese class, Hemingways novel are always interesting I like his novel much, also in his novel we can learn a lot by his meanings. It’s really a good novel for people to read.

When I read a grade a class, I was having fun with students, suddenly saw sitting on the seat Zhang Yuezheng absorbed in reading a book. Im surprised, ran to ask her: "Zhang Yue, why we are all in play, youre reading a book?" Zhang Yue no reply.

The second class, I once again see Zhang Yue sitting quietly reading position. I ran to repeat a sizable once had said, and this time Zhang Yue finally spoke, she said: "because reading can let us learn a lot of extra-curricular knowledge, can make our mind to move up, turn up." Zhang Yue words, I also think reading is a very good thing, since then I became like Zhang Yue love reading. In second grade, I and Zhang Yue were named as the "king" reading by the teacher!

Because Zhang Yue, I had the very big change, I now is becoming more and more love reading, book knowledge let me open horizon, enrich my mind, every day I swim in the ocean of knowledge. I must get to read this good habit to stick to it!

在我读一年级的一次下课的时候，我正在和同学们玩得开心，突然看见张越正坐在位子上专心致志地看书。我很奇怪，跑上前去问她：“张越，为什么我们都在玩，你却在看书呢?”张越没有吭声。

第二次下课时，我又一次看到张越一个人坐在位置上安安静静地看书。我跑上前去，重复了一次第一次说过的话，这一次张越终于开口说话了，她说：“因为看书可以让我们学到很多课外知识，可以让我们的脑子动起来、转起来啊。”听了张越的话，我也觉得看书是一件非常好的事情了，从那时起我就变得和张越一样爱看书了。二年级的时候，我和张越都被老师评为了“读书大王”了呢!

因为张越，我有了很大的改变，我现在变得越来越爱看书了，书本上的知识让我开阔了眼界，充实了我的大脑，我每天在知识的海洋中遨游。我一定要把读书这个好习惯坚持下去!

As we all know ,dogs are considered to be the best friends of human nature.

In ancient times,dogs help our ancestor to hunt and guard.While in modern times,dogs are our faithful companions.

Playing with dogs can make children feel happy then ease the loneliness.Recently,people have trained dogs to do certain work.

For example,dogs can be the guide for the blind when they are walking on the street.

However,there are also some problems with breeding dogs.Above all,dogs can spread diseases.

If people dont take measures to the puppies,they are easy to be caught by the virus and if people are hurt by the sick dogs ,they are hard to cure.

Thats why some people would not like to feed dogs.

In spite of the flood disaster, a good harvest is still in sight.

Yesterday we went to a nearby village to help the peasants get in the crops. We left our school early in the morning. It took us half an hour to reach the village. As soon as we got there, we joined the peasants in their harvesting work. They taught us how to cut rice, and how to tie it. It was in the fields that we had our lunch. After lunch, we had a short rest. We were fascinated by the beautiful scenery of the countryside. It got dark when we returned home. We were very tired, but we felt very happy.

Last week Chang Feng Park held a flower show.

I went to visit it with my friends.I was very glad to see so many beautiful flowers in the park.I was really amazed to see a sea of colourful flowers.They told me that some rare flowers came from Taiwan.Thousands of people stopped and watched them carefully.

I took many pictures there.Taiwan has always been a part of our country.I am sure sooner or later we can go there to see many more beautiful flowers.What great fun it will be.
