在1950  1976年期间中国人民过的是极其贫穷的日子，在“神圣的”毛泽东的“无产阶级”于“越穷越革命”的误导下;在“四人帮”的“引导”下，让中国人越来越穷。让本来可以好好读书的材料;可以当上栋梁之才的人，成为了平凡的世界中的平凡人，让多少天才，淹没在茫茫人海之中。

而原因是什么呢?是因为政治的黑暗、官员的腐败与思想的禁锢  认为只要是领导说的，就一定正确，照办不误，而导致这一切的原因是什么呢?  就是知识人们没有读书，没有知识，更没有自己的主见，所以说，知识非常重要。

关键词二：能力

虽然有些人说  死读书，读死书，读书死。但是，我却不这么认为，因为，只要把书读好，就可以有更高的学位;只要把书读好，并灵活应用，你就是现在社会紧缺的东西  人才;只要把书读好，你就可以找到好的工作。

你看  现在的公司不是都要招人才吗?什么最低学历大学，硕士的，多得不得了，当然，也不是原来的：

“学完数、理、化，走遍天下全不怕。”

现在讲究的是  灵活应用，学历高，还要有丰富的知识，而这些都是能力，对不对?所以说，读书是必不可少的!

关键词三：力量

知识是力量，这是人们皆知道的，只要有了知识，而知识是怎么来的呢?那就是读书。在危险的处境下，可以用知识的力量，把自己从危险的地方解救出来。

有了知识——这个力量，人们就可以制造各式各样的武器，来保卫自己，打倒来犯之敌。就像伊拉克被美国偷袭的时候，要是他们有先进的武器，就不至于被美国打成这样了。

而先进的武器怎么样来能，只有通过知识的力量造出来，而力量又怎么来呢?当然是——读书了，只有拼命地读书，才有知识，才有力量，才能给那来犯之敌一记当头一棒，把他们从自己国家的领土上赶出去。

怎么样?听了我的介绍，知道了读书的重要吧?那就爱书吧!作为回报，你可以成为一个集知识、能力与力量为一身的人，你就会成为社会的真正的人才!

“书犹药也，善读之可以医愈。”是啊，现在的社会，全都是用报纸、书刊来传达信息的，假如一个人不读书，就不会了解世界，跟不上世界的步伐，就会被世界所抛弃。

现在，许许多多的百科全书，如：《十万个为什么》、《世界未解之谜》等等五花八门、各种各样的书籍都能给我们许许多多的好处，我们的世界那么广阔，世界上有的东西，书本上也会有，百科全书就像“哑巴老师”一样孜孜不倦地教我们知识。可见，书多么有用啊！而且，我们学到的知识也要在日常生活中运用，要准确无误地判断这样做是否合适，从而丰富我们的课外知识，有利于我们健康的成长。你们说，读书的好处是不是很多呢？

如今，图书馆里的书越来越多，我们也要学会阅读和珍惜书本，看完后应该把书放回原位，而不是随便乱扔乱放。还有，我们一定要找给予我们知识的书阅读，不要看那些不益于我们成长的书。

Today, I went to my old house. I lived in it two years ago. When I am at school, I often think of my old house because it made me happy in the past. My old house is very tidy but old. It has only one level and there are just two rooms in it. I slept with my mother and my father ever evening. My old house is between two high houses, so it looks very small but lovely.
