I brush my teeth once a day. I run in the morning, and play ping-pong after school. In my free time, I enjoy surfing the Internet. On weekends, I often go to the movies with my friends.

I think I’m kind of unhealthy. I shouldn’t eat too much junk food. I’ll try to have a balanced diet and sleep more. I should brush my teeth twice a day. I hope I can have a better lifestyle.

Nowdays, with the rapid development of the road, cars have been playing an increasingly important role in our day-to-day life. It has brought a lot of benefits but has created some serious problems as well. Traffic safety as the most importent one, is closely related to everybodys business.

This phenomenon exists for a number of reasons . Some of the accidents are due to mechanical problems. As the vehicles in the road become common, the function of vehicles has improved and the speed is getting faster. However, most of them are the results of careless and reckless driving, which could not be avoided. A lot of people disregard traffic signals and rules. They drive regardless of speed limits, run through red lights, drive in the wrong direction, talk and laugh while driving, and turn at will without giving signals. They even dont slow down while approaching crossroads. So many people violate traffic regulations that we cannot put too much emphasis on the importance of traffic safety. Meanwhile, we can not ignore the fact that there are many problems existing in the design. They are all important reasons accounting for this phenomenon.

Some effective measures must be taken to slove this problem. The major cause for traffic accidents is people’s lack of safety awareness. Completing a safety driving education course is a very important way to reduce the number of traffic accidents. The key point for this issue is people’s awareness towards safety. It is a long-term goal rather than a single course for safety driving. The best way to solve the troubles is that we all abey the traffic rules. First, we cant get through red light and must observe traffic order. Secondly, tell our relatives not drive after drinking. Then, we should be care about road damage and inform relevant departments to solve the problems early. Finally, an active part in social activities, protect our order society! Another measure is improving the traffic condition by add traffic signal and other traffic safety facilities。Only when everybody takes traffic safety as their own business, can we achive safe driving and walking on road.

好书籍是全世界的营养品.伟大的诗人杜甫说：“读书破万卷,下笔如有神.”这些关于读书的名言时刻激励着我.由于爸爸妈妈小时候读书不如愿,所以,他们就把希望寄托在我的身上了,决心好好培养我读书.白天,爸爸妈妈一同出去务农,晚上回来后,不管有多疲劳,都会拿出旧书或旧报纸在灯下夜读.爸爸和妈妈读书的兴趣感染了我.所以,我也不时会拿出一本课外书来阅读,慢慢地我对书产生了兴趣.现在,我已经时时刻刻都离不开书了.妈妈为了让我学到更多的知识,专门给我买了四册少儿百科全书.要知道这买书的钱,还是妈妈从牙缝里挤出的钱买的,如果不买这四册书的话,妈妈还可以买 好几件衣服呢.所以,我决心好好品尝这“美味佳肴”.当我大概了解了这四册书的内容后,我感受到：一本好书,蕴涵着许多丰富的知识和美好的情感.阅读一本好书,就是要跨越时间和空间,同睿智和高尚的人对话,这是多么美妙的事情啊!所以,我一定要好好珍惜.为了看书,我还闹了一个笑话.有一次,妈妈叫我去买盐,我走的时候还拿了一本书,在路上,我看入迷了,当我正看得津津有味时,突然,汽车的喇叭生把我吓了一跳,书都掉到底下,我一看,原来,我已经在过马路了,可是,我却没看左右的车辆,所以,我差点被撞了.司机骂了我,我只当没这一回事儿,我继续看书了.回到家,妈妈问我买的盐哪去了,我才发现,自己看书忘了买盐了.我和妈妈都哭笑不得.古今中外有成就的人,都喜欢阅读,并善于从书中西吸取营养,从而走上了成功之路,让我们养成阅读的好习惯,一生都与好书相伴吧!

读书真美丽

一个人，十年寒窗苦读，究竟是为了什么?是为了图取一纸功名?一个高薪的工作?还是为了将来能遍游世界?我想都不是。

自打上学以来，父母就教育我要好好读书，总是说：现在不好好读书，以后就要饿肚子。年幼的我，因为缺乏正确的判断力，总认为父母说的话都是对的。于是十分刻苦努力的学习，渐渐地，我便明白了父母这样做的苦心，但我又有一些疑惑：难道一个人读一辈子的书，就只是为了将来能有一吨饭吃?这真的是对读书目的的曲解和对书的价值的贬低。要是幼儿园、一年级的小朋友这样说，到还可以理解，但作为一个中学生，还这样说，不就成鼠目寸光的人了吗?

我记得周总理在幼时便说过“为中华之崛起而读书 的铮铮誓言。我们也应该志存高远，为祖国的昌盛而读书啊!

我认为读书的最终目的，应该是不为小我而为大我。试想如果你连你自己的祖国都不热爱，那么，无论你将来有多高的成就，都无益于人民的利益和国家的建设。

比如：现代球星——王治郅，他的球技当属中国队一流，可是，自从打进NBA以后，国家队曾多次请他回来为国出征，可他竟然全都拒绝了。最后，就连达拉斯小牛队也将他踢了出去。这是多么可悲的结局呀!

遗憾的是，现在仍有一些人，稍稍有了一点本事，就狂妄起来，自私自利，甚至最终就连自己的中国都望在身后。这样的人，注定成不了大气候，而且还有可能落得一个一事无成的下场。

反之，那些为了祖国，为了人民，呕心沥血、九死一身抛头颅，撒热血的英雄们，他们以国家、人民的大义为己任，自当赢得人民的尊重与景仰，他们也将名垂青史、流芳百世。

例如：三国时期的诸葛亮，乃奇才也!他给刘备做军师，建立过宏伟的基业，对自己的国家和人民一片赤胆忠心。这才是人中豪杰，这才实现了人生价值。

纵观历史，无论是古代的关羽、赵云、岳飞，还是现代的周恩来、朱德、刘伯承，他们这些国之栋梁那一位不是文武兼备?他们把自己的一生都奉献给了自己的国家和人民，他们的书才算没有白读，他们这样的人，才配得上青史留名，也才配受万人的景仰!

热爱祖国，这是一种最纯洁、最高尚的感情。为祖国之富强而读书，自然应该成为我们这代人读书的主要目的。人生苦短，谁又能幸免一死呢?死国，忠义之大者，乃真英雄也!如果你为你的朋友，不怕两肋插刀，那么，你为你自己的祖国，就更不应该怕献出生命!这样的志，才堪称高远之志啊!
