The benefits of reading can be far more than these, there are many, many, many. I suggested that schoolmates see more useful books, because reading can not only increase our knowledge and insights, but also can improve the level of our composition, strengthen our language ability... Come on, do more good books, will be a lot of harvest.

读书对于不同的人来说有着不同的乐趣。对于从事体力劳动的人来说，读书是一种休闲;对于从事脑力劳动的人来说，书可能是一种灵丹妙药;烦闲时，读书可以解闷，愁苦时，读书可以忘忧;兴奋时，书可以和你一起分享……

如果你问到我们小学生：在语文学习中，让你最感吃力的是什么?回答十有八九是写作文。我们学生视写作为语文的头号负担。多读书，对写作尤其有用。平时读书最好是做笔记，把一些优美的词语和句子以及一些写得好的段落都记下来了，时间长了，积累的名言妙语自然就多了。当到写作文的时候就不用发愁了。

你看，每次写作文的时候，总有一部分同学面对着作文本，绞尽脑汁地想，也只能七拼八凑的写上几排。而那些同学也正是平时不爱看书阅读，只想着玩的同学。你再瞧瞧那些平常热爱看书，喜爱阅读的同学呢，则是如行云流水，滔滔不绝。

记得有一次写作文时，是写龙水西湖。我觉得自己得到了一个大显身手的好机会：平常积累的那些描写景色的词语，像酵母似的发挥了作用。我用平静的湖水以翠绿的小岛和倒影相连，显得很和谐。我用春、夏、秋、冬来体现出不同季节有着不同景象的龙水西湖。我的作文如愿以偿的得到了不错的成绩。

书，带我们进入知识的海洋;书，带我们畅游神秘的历史;书，带我们进入梦想的天堂;书是一种对人类有益的营养品;书是人类进步的阶梯。

读书的好处可远远不止这些，还有很多很多，数不胜数。我建议同学们多看些有用的好书，因为看书不但可以增长我们的知识和见识，而且还可以提高我们的作文水平，增强我们的语言能力……行动起来吧，多看些好书，一定会收获不少的。

这个月我读了一本书，书名叫做《昆虫记》，它是由法国著名的昆虫学家——法布尔写的。

书中主要讲了他在自己家的庄园里研究昆虫，那儿的昆虫应有尽有：蚂蚁是顽强的乞丐，蝉才是勤劳的生产者;凶残的心理专家―螳螂，可怕的巨毒黑腹舞蛛，建筑大师迷宫珠……读着一个个栩栩如生的昆虫故事，我身临其境，仿佛与法布尔一起畅游在昆虫的世界里，感受它的奇妙。

看了《昆虫记》，我才发现昆虫的世界也是如此丰富多彩的，尽管他们不会像人类一样用语言来表达事情，但它们的每一个动作都有它的深刻含义。世界上生命无处不在，往往一些微小的生命容易被忽略，人类虽然在生物链的顶端，可我们却不知道如果没有了这些微小的生命，世界会怎样呢?昆虫，它们是食物链中不可缺少的一环，它们对我们来说万般重要，它们的生命也应该得到尊重，正好应对了一句话：麻雀虽小，五脏俱全。

从《昆虫记》这本书的细致描写，可以看出作者的独具匠心。他语言生动、活泼，而且充满了情趣。他把感情融入到观察当中，使我们了解到昆虫与环境息息相关。以后，我要像法布尔那样仔细观察身边的事物。
