I think the life of mine will be more modern than now. Every family will have robots. The robots will help us do all the housework. The food will be more healthy. We will have a personal computer. We will be able to do some shopping. The little children won’t go to school . They’ll study at home on computers. People might fly to the moon for holidays.

很小的时候，我就结识了书，那是布满彩图和拼音的世界。在书中，我发现了一个又一个的秘密：猿人是人类的祖先;恐龙十分高大可怕;遥远的年代人们钻木取火……原来世界这么奇妙!我觉得读书让我这样一个小小的孩童变得好高大，仿佛举目望去，我就能轻易地发现北极的冰川，看到埃及的尼罗河畔有成千上万的工人在修建金字塔，直到我爱不释手地合上书，脑海中还会浮现出各种画面，我有一种甜蜜的感觉：读书真好。

渐渐的，我告别了娃娃书，步入了文学的殿堂，书变厚了，变深奥了，我不再仅仅在大自然中打转，我常常不由自主地陷入一个个故事之中，当白雪公主逃脱了睡美人获得新生之时，我快乐无比：当福尔摩斯巧妙地揭穿骗局，我悬着的心才渐渐平静……是的，读书真好!

尽管初中的生活非常紧张，我仍然不会压缩读书的时间，它简直成了我精神的脊梁，没有书，我的生活会黯淡无光，我成长的脚步会又慢又沉。

读书对于不同的人来说有着不同的乐趣。对于从事体力劳动的人来说，读书是一种休闲;对于从事脑力劳动的人来说，书可能是一种灵丹妙药;烦闲时，读书可以解闷，愁苦时，读书可以忘忧;兴奋时，书可以和你一起分享……

如果你问到我们小学生：在语文学习中，让你最感吃力的是什么?回答十有八九是写作文。我们学生视写作为语文的头号负担。多读书，对写作尤其有用。平时读书最好是做笔记，把一些优美的词语和句子以及一些写得好的段落都记下来了，时间长了，积累的名言妙语自然就多了。当到写作文的时候就不用发愁了。

你看，每次写作文的时候，总有一部分同学面对着作文本，绞尽脑汁地想，也只能七拼八凑的写上几排。而那些同学也正是平时不爱看书阅读，只想着玩的同学。你再瞧瞧那些平常热爱看书，喜爱阅读的同学呢，则是如行云流水，滔滔不绝。

记得有一次写作文时，是写龙水西湖。我觉得自己得到了一个大显身手的好机会：平常积累的那些描写景色的词语，像酵母似的发挥了作用。我用平静的湖水以翠绿的小岛和倒影相连，显得很和谐。我用春、夏、秋、冬来体现出不同季节有着不同景象的龙水西湖。我的作文如愿以偿的得到了不错的成绩。

书，带我们进入知识的海洋;书，带我们畅游神秘的历史;书，带我们进入梦想的天堂;书是一种对人类有益的营养品;书是人类进步的阶梯。

读书的好处可远远不止这些，还有很多很多，数不胜数。我建议同学们多看些有用的好书，因为看书不但可以增长我们的知识和见识，而且还可以提高我们的作文水平，增强我们的语言能力……行动起来吧，多看些好书，一定会收获不少的。

青少年很喜欢玩电脑游戏，一些人甚至旷课，他们在街上到处晃荡，去到网吧里面，沉浸在电脑游戏里面。我们都知道，网吧对于青少年来说不是一个该去的好地方。第一，网吧里面有形形色色的人。据报道，很多事故发生在网吧里面，一些人彼此间打架，然后砍人，甚至有人死掉。这是多么危险啊。第二，青少年相对比较天真，他们可能会在网吧里面收到坏人的诱导，也有可能被坏人绑架到别的地方，永远不能再回家。网吧对于青少年来说不是一个安全的地方，所以他们应该学着保护自己，远离网吧。

高尔基曾说：“书是人类进步的阶梯。 ”的确，看一本好书就像在和一个高尚的人谈话，书在每个地方，每个时代都有着重要的地位，包含着无穷无尽的知识。

“一个家庭没有书，就等于一间房子没有窗子。”可想而知书在日常生活中的重要性。它像一束阳光，一扇风景。不仅可以提高我们的生活情趣，而且，使生活变的更加丰富多彩，有声有色。我们通过读书丰富知识，增长见识，让生活过得更充实，更有意义。在书中我们可以学习许多小窍门，解决生活中遇到的小难点。

几百上千年前的古人已经知道了读书的好处，有许多热爱读书的故事都流传至今，其中王羲之的故事非常值得我们深思相传。一天中午，王羲之正在读书，书童送来馍馍和蒜泥，他因为看书入了迷，竟拿着一块馍沾了墨汁就往嘴里送，错把墨汁当蒜泥吃了，还说：“今天的蒜泥真香啊!”

通过这个故事，我深深体会到了读书的重要性，前人能做到读书废寝忘食的地步，为后人留下了许多宝贵的知识，财富，我们有什么不好好读书而沉迷于游戏，电视?与他们相比我们不感到惭愧吗?

读书的过程是艰难的，也是快乐的。渐渐的，在读书中我有了“熟读唐诗三百首，不会吟诗也会吟”的才气，感受到了“风萧萧兮易水寒，壮士一去兮不复还”的豪气，体会到了“天生我材必有用，千金散尽还复来”的傲气……

在读书的过程中，我的作文水平也得到了提高，以前，我写作文时，总是不知道该用哪些词。所以老去问妈妈，妈妈就说：“孩子，你应该多看些书，哪一个作家像冰心，老舍都不是破了万卷书，才下笔如有神的呢?”从此，我就天天看书，记录书中的好词，好句，体会作者的思想感情。果然，一段时间过后，我的作文水平就有一点点提高。

书是人类一生的朋友，在哪里都有极其崇高的地位，正如三字经中所言“人之初，性本善。性相近，习相远。苟不教，性乃迁。教之道，贵以专。”充分说明了读书的人后天的影响。

读书有这么多的好处，我们有什么理由不好好读书么?

I like to see swimming match so much, the players swim so fast just like the fish. Recently, a boy named Ning Zetao is so hot, he won the men’s 50meter and 100meter in swimming, what’s more, he breaks the Asian record. He is very famous now, people call him the new flying fish in Asia. As it is known to all that Chinese athletes are not good at short distance in swimming, but now Ning opens the new chapter, he proves that Chinese athletes can swim fast.

I believe in the future, Ning will do better.

我很喜欢看游泳比赛，运动员游起来就像鱼那么快。最近，一个叫宁泽涛的男孩子很出名，他赢得了男子游泳50米和100米的冠军，而且，他打破了亚洲的记录。他现在已经很出名了，人们称他为亚洲新一代的飞鱼。

众所周知，中国的运动员并不擅长短距离游泳，但是现在宁打开了新的篇章，他证明了中国的运动员也可以游得很快。

我相信将来，宁会做得更好。

古人云：“书中自有黄金屋，书中自有颜如玉”。这句话一点儿也不假。在书中我们可以找到似黄金却胜过黄金，似颜如玉却胜过颜如玉的东西。这就是读书的魅力所在，让我们找到许多现实生活中所没有的东西。

小时候，在哥哥、姐姐的陶冶下，我对那些印着花花绿绿图画的书很感兴趣。但由于小，识字不多，所以看的都是一些图画多而文字少且易懂的书籍。渐渐地，我便沉迷其中。

有一天放学回家，我看见姐姐捧着一本厚厚的《三国演义》，正在津津有味地看着。我心想：这么厚的书，上面的插图一定很丰富。说时迟，那时快，我一把从姐姐的手里把书抢了过来。一看，我顿时傻了眼：上面全是密密麻麻的文字，像一条条小虫子在蠕动一般。“难道有这样没有图画的书?”我心里不禁泛起了疑问。我不仅没有把书还给姐姐，反而赖着脸皮向姐姐要这本书看。姐姐也同意了。

于是，只要我一有空，我都会拿出《三国演义》，细细品味书中的精华。在书中，我感受到了：诸葛亮的神机妙算，曹操的阴险狡诈，关羽的重情重义……在阅读《三国演义》的过程中，我忘记了吃饭，忘记了睡觉，甚至连上厕所都不忘带上它翻看几页……

在看完《三国演义》后，我还不满足，我从《西游记》中看到了孙悟空一行人与妖怪斗智斗勇的场面;从《水浒传》中感受到梁山英雄的无奈;从《红楼梦》中领悟到一个家族有幸声道衰败的过程……

读书不仅丰富了我的课余生活，也丰富了我的精神世界，让我寄情于书中，找到了归宿。这就是读书的魅力。

The Advantages of Travel Alone

I like to travel to different places, I can see the beautiful scenery and get to know the different cultures. My friends and I always travel together, we make many plans in advance. But the plans will always be interrupted by all kinds of unexpected incidents, like the bad weather, the holiday being cancelled, so we have to spend another time to wait for the trip. Traveling alone can ignore these problems, I can go to travel whenever I want, I just need to pick up my backpack, and then buy the ticket. It is so free, I don’t have to wait for others, I can go to the places I want to. Traveling alone is good.

我喜欢去不同的地方旅行，我可以看到美丽的风景和了解不同的文化。我总是和朋友一起旅行，我们提前订好很多计划。但是计划总是会被各种各样意想不到的事件打断，比如天气不好，假期被取消等等，因此我们不得不花时间等待下次的旅程。独自旅行就能忽视这些问题，我可以随时去旅行，只需要背起背包，买上票。那是多么的自由，我不用等其他人，去我想去的地方。独自旅行真好。

Early rising benefits us in many ways.

First, it helps to keep us fit. We all need fresh air. Besides, by taking morning exercises we can improve our health.

Second, it can help us in our studies. In the morning we can learn more quickly.

Third, it can enable us to plan our work for the day. We cannot work well without a proper plan. Early rising can also give us enough time to get ready for our work.

夏天，我们与阳光作伴，与树木和草地作伴，夜晚的凉风，风吹树响的声音，雨滴掉落的声音，鸟儿啁啾的声音一切都丰富有趣。当然，也少不了虫鸣声。在这边土地上，生物遍地，昆虫便是生活中的一员，常见却不引人注目，人们只注意到它们的存在，却不知昆虫也有自己的天下。

蚂蚁，我想大家都耳熟能详了，勤劳的工作者，团结的大集体，搬家的小能手，但又有谁知道勤劳朴实的背后真面目却是一个“疯狂的掠夺者”呢?我想，书中便有一个典型的范例：7月，午后酷暑难耐，成群的昆虫寻找水源，而蝉则不屑一顾，用那如钻头般的细嘴，在自己那永不干涸的酒窖中钻了开来，慢慢享受这一美味的汁液。但好景不长，这一香味儿随风散入了各处。胡蜂，苍蝇，球螋，泥蜂，珠蜂还有蚂蚁。为了清泉，它们拼命挤上去嘬一口，然后飞一圈又更大胆地反回来。而蝉则抬爪方便他们通过。就这样，不速之客贪心越来越大，刚刚还谨小慎微的它们直接变成乱哄哄的侵略者，一心要把掘井者从井边驱逐。在这场战斗中，蚂蚁最属疯狂，它们撕蝉身，扯蝉爪，甚至爬至蛘的胡须，洋洋得意。蝉受不了，撒泡尿离去。而蚂蚁浑然不在乎，一旦有机会它们又会用相同的法子喝上几大口。所以昆虫的世界和人一样复杂多变，表面也仅仅是表面。

诸如此类，还有很多：如雌螳螂在与雄螳螂交配完，便会一口吃掉丈夫，产子后便会离去;如绿蝈蝈在夜晚便会化身凶猛凌厉的猎手杀蝉于无形;如美丽的大孔雀蝶是个结婚狂，它们能飞越长距，穿越险阻，发现自己的意中人……所以，昆虫是有趣的、是奇妙的，它们和人一样有不同的性格，不同的姿态，它们如宇宙般神秘，有无数未知等着有心人解开。
