一个中国人与书籍的关系的真相是——从前的读书人仅是千分之几、万分之几的幸运人，大抵是为了跻身仕途而读；如今恰恰反过来了，最广大的普通人才较有时间读读什么书。

普通人是多么普通的人呢？
