I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation. They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning and breathing the fresh air in the countryside. After snow, I would like to skate and ski with my friends. When night comes, I am used to sitting by the fire and listening to grandma telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. When I have to go back, I am always reluctant to go. I really feel happy living in the country.

Life in the university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.

First of all, we are tightly hound by continual classes, excessive homework and exams; some students complain that we are becoming "exam machines". Secondly, the teaching method is boring; instead of lecturing, some teachers just "read" lessons. Finally, living conditions need to be improved; and food in the dining-hall is far from being attractive and tasteful.

In spite of all these adversities we still enjoy our life in the university. During the four-year university study, we can not only acquire a lot of book learning, but also foster various abilities. All types of extracurricular activities such as sports meets, speech contests, different social gatherings and dancing parties provide opportunities to make friends; many of these friendships may last a long time.

In short,we should value our life in the university. Four years is only a short period when compared with our whole lifetime. In the university we mature, and in the university we prepare ourselves for the real world. Although there are many

things lacking, the four years in the university is a worthwhile period in our whole lifetime.

“铃铃铃……”闹钟又响了，我刚想按闹钟，无意中看到了桌子上的日历，现在是2150年!我也顾不上那么多了，还是先吃饭吧!我走进客厅，看见饭桌上全是药丸，我说：“我要吃饭，不吃药丸!”妈妈说：“这些都是饭菜，看!这个是米饭，这个是青菜，这个是肉……”妈妈说了好多，我终于忍不住了，赶紧吃了一粒药丸，我能尝出来，这个是米饭药丸。我又把桌子上的所有药丸都吃了，我真想不到这些药丸这么顶饿，我还以为得吃一万粒药丸才能吃饱呢!

我赶紧去学校，妈妈说：“只要让房子跑去学校就行了。”“真的吗?”我惊讶地问。妈妈把我领到一间屋子里，我看见了屋子最前面的按钮。妈妈说：“看!点这个红色按钮，你输入学校的地址，就可以让房子自己去学校了。”我从来没见过这些仪器，听了妈妈说的话，我赶紧输入学校的地址。房子跑得很快，而且它还自动让开障碍物，我一会儿就到了学校。

进入学校，我看见我的教室里全是电脑。我找到自己的位置坐下，发现我的电脑上有一个小人，我不知道，问了同学才知道，原来现在采用电脑教学了。它可以告诉你这节课的知识点，还会提出各种问题，你问什么问题它还会解答。我可忍不住了，赶紧打开电脑，果然，那个小人给我们讲课，还有练习题，我很快乐。

放学了，妈妈要带我去商店。我心想：这里一切都很怪，商店肯定也和以前的不一样。果然，我看见商店里面只有一台大机器。只见妈妈选择屏幕上的服装，又选择了服装里面的帽子。这时，屏幕上出现了各种各样的帽子，不但有样子，还有价钱。妈妈选择了其中一顶帽子，有一只机械手从机器里伸出来，它拿着一顶帽子，正是妈妈选的那顶。妈妈摸了摸，感觉不错，就在屏幕上选择购买，机器里传来了好听的声音：“请支付44元!请支付44元!”妈妈把45元放进一个纸币口，一个硬币口，硬币口中又找回一元钱。买得可快呀!我心想。

回家了，我躺在床上，进入了甜蜜的梦乡。

我跟着时光旅行团，乘坐着时光机来到了两百年后。

哇，2213年真是非同凡响。虽然空中到处都是飞天汽车，但是交通秩序还是井井有条，红绿灯交警正在忙碌的指挥着，每辆汽车都不敢违反。再看看大街上，空气清新，环境优美，干干净净，旁边还种着两排花草树木，没有树叶、垃圾的踪影。咦，大街上怎么连个垃圾筒也没有呢?哦，原来街道上有许多个自动迷你吸尘器，平时，它们呈引力漂浮小球状，当垃圾树叶一出现，吸尘器就会立马飞上去，张开“大嘴”，一秒钟就把它们清理得一干二净。而且迷你吸尘器吸进去的是垃圾，喷出来的却是新鲜的空气，真是既省事又环保。

而且居民们各个都住进了高楼大厦，过上了好日子。每家每户都有一两个机器人管家、保姆当家，当你下班累了，他们就会为你倒水、按摩，做家务、买菜等事全不用主人操心。自动炒菜机和自动洗晾衣机也问世了，只要把芯片插入指令处，并对他们输入指令，这些机器就会快速的完成任务。

当我们还在为这些科技所惊讶时，我们的导游——一个头部呈三角形，三只蓝眼睛，机械身体，手臂，黑色头发，脚是轮子的外星人说：“这有什么好奇怪的，在这里还有可以把房屋缩小的手电筒呢。”原来，有些住别墅的居民在野外露营，帐篷有时候被划破，有时候被风吹走，半夜还被蚊虫叮咬，为了解决这些问题，房屋缩小手电筒诞生了，它的外表和普通手电筒没什么两样，但它有两个不同的开关，一个是黄灯，只要把它打开在房子前照一照，这个房子就会越来越小，最后缩小到电筒里。一个是白灯，到了营地之后，打开开关，房子就会慢慢放大，最后还原原状。因为这种手电筒可以使又大又重的东西缩小变轻，所有给人们的生活带来了方便，使人类安居乐业。

“未来可真高深莫测啊。”我感叹道，不知不觉，一天过去了，我恋恋不舍的搭乘着时光机回家了。

An activity about low carbon living

Currently,my school is launching an activity whose theme is that actions change the world to advocate the low carbon living.

In the activity,we are required to go to school or some other place by bike or by foot as much as possible instead of by bus.And when the Christmas comes,sending e-greeting cards instead of tridional cards of which are made of wood as we know.Besides,we should use both sides of every piece of paper and we should save water as well as electricity.

I believe that only we do thus can we have a better living environment.

There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.

To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

The summer holiday is coming. Im going to have a good rest and learn to relax myself. I will read more useful books because reading more books is not only interesting but also can make me learn more knowledge. I will try to spend more time in chatting with my parents and help them to do some housework. I am going to take part in the social activities so that I can know more about the society. If possible, Id like to go to Shanghai for a visit of the World Expo. Im sure Ill have an interesting and meaningful summer holiday.
