在武汉科技会展中心，今天有场“武汉8校联合招聘会”，我早早地买了门票，攥着几天前就准备好的6份简历进了场。其中4份是准备应聘翻译的，另外两份应聘英文报刊编辑。其实我的“硬件”还算过得去——专业八级，计算机三级，还有两次“院三好学生”和两次二等奖学金。找个翻译的工作，胜算应该比较大吧。

会场人很多，我绕场转了两圈，仅发现两家英文报刊在招广告策划，想想和自己的专业沾了点边，我毫不犹豫地把简历递了过去。

对方仔细看我的简历，问了一句：“你是学广告策划的吗?”

他刚才不是看了吗?怎么还问我?我说：“不是，我是英语专业的。我对你们的工作岗位……”“对不起，我们不要其他专业的!”还没说完，对方就很不耐烦地打断了我的话。

睡前总结：今天的收获几乎为零。宿舍小文总结我的失败之处在于跨专业求职。想来也对，跨专业求职对普通学生难度太大，除非事前有很好的准备。今天的失败应该在于没考虑自己的专业因素吧。

11月27日 星期四 阴

谢天谢地，终于迎来第一场针对本专业的招聘会。宿舍的几位姐妹都起床忙于梳妆打扮。我早早地起来，又把自己的简历看了一遍，按求职意向分门别类整理了一下自己的思路。挤进会场后，我先绕场一周了解大致情况，然后有针对性地把我的简历投了出去。

我们专业不过500来人，而整个会场人数足足有一两千。我甚至还瞥见有位同学来自广东省的中山大学。

到底是针对英语专业，让我感觉自己能胜任在场的所有职位。上午我去一家外贸公司应聘高级翻译。面试老师用英语问起了一些有关我家庭成员和籍贯的问题，虽然谈不上对答如流，却也算是表达清晰。后来又和我聊起了今年年初流行的SARS病的相关问题知识，我的语句就开始不通畅了。最后我感觉对方有点落井下石，竟问起了今年诺贝尔化学奖的得主来自哪个国家。我支吾了半天，只好“SORRY”。

还是再试试另一家报社的英文编辑吧。

展位前的椅子上已经坐了好多前来应聘的人。我刚要找个地方坐下，中间一位老师就站起来宣布面试开始。接着发给大家每人一张试卷。要求在半个小时内完成。

我瞅了瞅周围的人，他们看上去相当认真。题目是十个选择填空题和一篇作文改错。几个选择题似乎很简单，几分钟我就完成了。那篇作文是有关神州5号飞船升空的，反复看了好几遍，才找到一处语法错误。眼看时间快到了，我胡乱地改了几处单词。然后把试卷交了上去。

那位戴眼镜的老编辑花了几分钟看完了我们的试卷，当场宣布5人进入下一轮面试，其余的人全部淘汰。原因是只有这5人记得神州5号升空的日子。

为什么平时不多看看报纸呢。这么重要的错误也没发现?下次还是小心点吧。

睡前总结：两个这么好的工作就被我这样给糟蹋了。我发现虽然自己专业已经是八级，但口语什么的好象还不太够用，而要命的是我平时除了集中学习专业知识，对外界的关心太少了。 翻译和编辑两种工作都需要大量的社会知识积累。我败在了平时。

12月1日 星期一 阴

连续两天，华中科技大学和武汉科技会展中心召开了两场招聘会。天很冷，但依然高兴，因为两天的奔波换来了三个面试机会。

一是本市一家进出口贸易公司，我应聘副总经理秘书，二是一家企业缺个策划，再就是市中心一所重点高中的英语教师。我根据自己的优势和硬件，集中对英语教师进行了精心准备。想到面试时多半会要求我上台试讲，我还特地请教了我们的英语老师，让他为我作了特别辅导。

果然不出我所料，那位老校长要我上讲台授课，4位老师临时充当我的学生。好在我提前做了准备，一上讲台，我就着那本高中英语课本绘声绘色地讲了起来。加上我们高中学过那篇课文，我发挥比较出色。20分钟后，老校长叫停，而后就和几位老师开始了讨论。

说实话，虽然紧张，但我对自己的发挥还是比较满意。果然，老校长对我说：“刘小姐，你已经通过了我们的面试，如果你是真诚喜欢这个职位的话，请随时拨打我的电话，我等你的好消息。”说完，递过来一张名片。

睡前总结：那一刻，我几乎要高兴得喊出来。为了工作，我已经整整奔波了10 天了。今天终于尝到了被录用的甜头。嘿嘿。

[一个英语系毕业生的求职经历日记

It is quite usual that one meets failures, for ones life can never be

plain sailing. However, diffhrent people hold diffhrent attitudes towards

failure. Some people think it a heavy blow to fail in achieving something and

they can not endure failure. When they meet failure, they will be seriously

dejected and can never pluck up their courage to try again. However, others

think it natural to meet failures in ones career. Therefore, they are

psychologically prepared. When they meet failures, they will not be frustrated.

Instead, they will continue to meet new challenges. As to me, Im in favor of

the latter view. Failure is really a terrible thing but it is also the mother of

success. If one draws lessons from failures, in most cases he will get success

in the future. Furthermore, ones life can never be smooth sailing; it must be

full of difficuhies and setbacks. If one is daunted by difficuhies and

frustrations, he will always be a failure. However, if one holds a positive

attitude toward failure, he will overcome difficulties and frustrations to win

victory.

失败与成功只有一步之遥，只不过这一步遥不可及，就看你的决定了，因为你的一步错误，可能整个过程都发生了改变。

人的一生，就像一条小溪。经历丰富，才能远源流长。有人说;"失败，是把有价值的东西毁灭给人看;成功，是把有价值的东西包装给人看。成功的秘诀是不怕失败和不忘失败。成功者都是从失败的炼狱中走出来的。成功与失败循环往复，构成精彩的人生。成功与失败的裁决，不是在起点，而是在终点!“成功没有秘诀，没人会告诉你怎么样才能够成功，这一切都要看你的决定!

当然，换一个角度来看，失败也许并没有那么可怕，有的人会把失败看作为一种自我激励的方式，带给自己无尽的正能量。那么这个人已经成功了一半了，但有的人遇到巨大的失败后一蹶不振，从此堕落，那么，他距离成功越来越远了。

失败不是最可怕的，最可怕的是，遇到一点折磨就放弃，一遇到失败就逃避，当养成这样一种碰上失败酒迅速退缩的习惯后，那将必定失去一堆黄金。除了这些，失败和成功也是一对能够互相克制，互相平衡的好兄弟，就像是光明与黑暗——若是没有黑暗，怎能体现出光的神圣?若是没有光，那世上也不会有黑暗了。

有的人高高在上，蔑视脚底下的一切，将其他要爬上来的人狠狠地踹下去，那么他的结局注定是失败的。有的人努力的向上攀爬，时不时帮一把身旁吃力的朋友，那么下一个登上顶峰的，便可能是他了。

不是说你努力了就能够成功，但要是你不努力，就必须失败。卢梭说过，成功的秘诀，在永不改变既定的目的。今天你成功的目标是干好这一番事业，一星期后你的成功目标是当一个军人，两天后你的成功目标又变成了一名独自创立公司的老板，那么，有那么多的目标，你真的能够全部实现吗?人的一生有太多的失败与成功，像是撒在地上的一把沙子，一粒一粒数，永远也数不完。

都说“失败是成功之母”，在生活中，也难免会有许多失败的经历，我也不例外，但是那一次让我终生难忘。

小时候，看着别的小朋友熟练又飞快地骑着自行车，那潇洒的样子真令我羡慕，我恳求妈妈也给我买一辆。妈妈经不住我的纠缠，终于同意了。

我挑选了一辆非常漂亮的自行车，就买了下来。刚到院子，我就准备上车开始骑，想着骑自行车那么简单，只要坐在上面，然后用脚踩在踏板上蹬就可以了嘛!有什么难的。想到这里，我也学着其他小朋友的样子开始蹬。没想到刚坐到上面，还没骑一点儿，脚一离地自行车就倒了，我也被重重地摔倒在地，把腿磕破了。我想放弃，不想学了。但是，当我看到妈妈那鼓励的眼神时，我又重新爬起来，坐到自行车上，不幸又被摔了下来。

就这样摔倒爬起了无数次，我终于学会了骑自行车。我也可以和别的小朋友快乐地一起骑自行车了。

通过这件事，我亲自体验了一次失败经历。但是，我坚持了。最终，我成功了，我还懂得了一个道理：只要你永远地坚持下去，成功就会属于你。

Last summer，I went to Beidaihe for my holiday with my family. We took a train because the way is not far. We lived in a big hotel where could see the sea . We stayed there for three days.

The first day，we went for a walk along the seaside，and then we went swimming and took a lot of interesting photos there. The second day，we went to a famous market and bought many keepsakes. I was going to bring these keepsakes for my friends. The last day，we had a good picnic on the seaside with the natives. They acted all kinds of programmes and made us feel happy.

Its a very good journey，and we all enjoyed ourselves on those days. If I have another holiday，I will go there again.

The recollection of my childhood is like a dream.It can never be recovered.I will remember it forever.
