Failure is the mother of success

We middle school students have had many tests or exams. We have both achieved success and suffered from failure. Different students take different attitudes to failure.

望着试卷上一个个刺眼的大大的“X”号，我的心像被刀刺一样痛。泪水像断了线的珠子止不住地滴落下来，模糊了我的视线，也冲淡了那刺眼的“X”号。

渐渐地，“雨过天晴”，看着被泪水淹的不成样子的试卷，我开始冷静下来，到底是什么原因导致这种惨状呢?我拿出试卷仔细分析出错的原因，渐渐发现主要是三个方面的问题：第一，基础知识掌握不牢固，有许多概念都模糊不清;第二，对知识的综合运用能力很薄弱;第三，做题不仔细、马虎，导致会做的题做错了。

找出了问题所在，我开始研究对策。在寒假里，我制订了详细的学习计划，把每天的时间都作了科学、合理的规划，把所要复习的每一学科的内容都列出来，分配到每一天。知道了自己该做什么，就像一个猎人盯住了猎物，瞄准了目标，接下来我开始按步就班地实施。虽然要早起晚睡，每天的任务排得满满的，但是看到问题被我一个个解决，“堡垒”被我一个个攻克时，整个人沉浸在战胜困难后快乐的心境中，完全没有了劳累的感觉，随之而来的是饱满充沛的精神和更加高昂的斗志。

以上的努力在开学后的考试中得到了立竿见影的回报，一些小测验得心应手，大考一跃进入年级前茅。真是功夫不负有心人啊!我战胜了困难，也战胜了我自己!这无疑是上天给我的一次考验!在这次考验中我收获甚多，不但找出了隐藏已久的问题，而且让我懂得了：遇到挫折不要气馁，一定要勇敢去面对，要总结经验，吸取教训，制定应对措施，勇敢战胜困难。

正如孟子所说：“天将降大任于斯人也，必先苦其心志，劳其筋骨，饿其体肤，空乏其身，行拂乱其所为。所以动心忍性，曾益其所不能”。我想就用这句话作为本文的结语吧。

Beijing, the second largest city,is where i want to visit most. there are several reasons why i would like to visit Beijing. first, beijing is the capital of china, and has a history more than 5000 years. it has been the capital for many dynasties. second, there are many historical buildings, such as The great wall and Summer Palace. therea are also some new stadiums, lnclude The Bird Nest and The Wate Cube. they were built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. I really want to go there and visit all intereing places.

每一个人都经历过成功，有成功，就一定会有失败，每一次成功和失败都会使我们明白一个道理，在我的失败中，有一个最令我难忘的失败在无时无刻的提醒着我！

那是在我低年级的一次考试，我学完了课本，在复习阶段时，我感觉到自己已经掌握了所有的知识，不用再复习了。于是，整个复习阶段我都没有复习，只是在玩，就连考试前一天也在快乐的玩耍着，从我身上根本就看不出半分快要考试了的痕迹。到了考试那一天，看到发下来的卷子，不禁心想：“这卷子真简单，根本就没半分难度。哈哈，妈妈的奖励绝对可以拿到手！”于是，抓起笔哗啦哗啦就做完了。看了一眼钟，只用了一半的时间，不禁沾沾自喜。看着同学绞尽脑汁的样子，难免有些骄傲。整天的考试都在骄傲中过去。在家苦苦等了三天，到了拿通知书的时候了，心中想着：“同学们想的那么慢，绝对有很多不知道，那我就肯定会名列前茅。”等拿到成绩单，整个人仿佛被雷击了一样，“什么，我只有这么低！”心中的骄傲，自信登时在一瞬间崩塌了，连个前十都没有，我的信心仿佛被人偷走了一样，我不禁悄然落泪。

这一次失败，在我的成长道路上烙下了不可磨灭的印记，因为它使我明白了：骄傲使人落后，谦虚使人进步。
