Then tie the rest onto your pole like this.” He demonstrated with his own materials, and I followed his example. Then he thrust both our torches into the fire and handed me mine. “Now run!”

And run I did----we all did. For miles and miles around, as far as I could see, there were small orange specks scattered about, and I could hear the distant screaming and laughing of other children running up and down the rice field path. For several hours into the night I helped build fires and keep an eye on the younger children. 我期盼着春节，春节充满了亲情。每到春节，妈妈做了一盘又一盘的美味佳肴。也许妈妈已经忘记了连日加班的疲惫，忘记了她两鬓又多了一丝丝白发，妈妈您辛苦了，我真想用双手抚平您眼角的皱纹。今年的春节妈妈满足了我的心愿，带我到香港旅游，为了让平时紧张的我彻底放松一下心情，我非常感谢妈妈，感谢她一年来辛勤地工作，感谢她灯前伴我学习的身影，才让我有了今天的幸福生活，妈妈我已经长大了，今年的我将不会再让您为我操心为我劳累。

我期盼这春节，春节是新的开始，是播种希望的季节。新的一年，我长大一岁，我有了新的希望，我将要播下美丽的种子，收获幸福与爱的果实。

长辈发压岁钱红包，是中国春节的传统习俗。和大多数同学不一样，除了传统红包外，我常常收到一份另类的、私人定制版的“红包”。这究竟是怎么回事呢？

那就先从大外公的人生经历说起吧！

大外公年少时家境贫困，交学费时捉襟见肘。教材需向同桌借着看；曾外祖父揣着5分钱借遍所有的邻居，凑不齐6分钱买半斤盐；当时家里难得才能吃一次白米饭，大外公就将自己在学校的口粮省出来，带回家过年吃。如此窘境比比皆是。在同学和邻居的帮助下，大外公一边劳动一边读书，完成了小中高的学业。日子虽清苦，学习生涯却很丰富多彩：第一次看电影，第一次使用显微镜，第一次接触五线谱，第一次进阅览室……

第一次参加高考时，大外公辗转汽车、火车来到金华，晚上蚊帐里满是臭虫，不得不在婺江边的窄石凳上躺到天亮，匆匆吃了早饭就参加考试，却不幸落榜。第二次高考时，大外公边在家乡帮助办学，边自主复习，考取了杭州师范大学，我几乎能想象大外公站在校园中，贪婪地注视着，欢呼着“我，是一名大学生了！”大外公怀着为国育才的理想，在永康西溪中学、永康二中、明珠学校种桃种李种春风，一种就是四十二年。

莫道桑榆晚，微霞尚满天。这位耄耋老人，至今都行走在传播中国文化的道路上，虽然步子缓慢，却坚定。 退休后的大外公乐于发挥余热，不仅在金华市老年大学任教两个诗词班，还担任金华市婺城区诗词楹联学会会长一职。

每次拜年时，大外公除了给我压岁钱外，还附赠另类的“文化红包”，那就是亲自签名的著作，如《历代诗词曲释评》、《中华新韵（十四韵）新编》、《婺城对联集成》等。抚摸着写着“韵佳侄外孙女惠存”的书，聆听着大外公的谆谆教诲，我感到特别温暖，特别幸福。从年少贫寒到老有所乐，大外公见证了教育事业的发展，他特别期待我们传承源远流长的中华诗词文化。

收到这些另类的“红包”，我一定要倍加珍惜，并代代相传！

In the last century, the government carried out the policy of family

planning to control the increasing population. So most families have only one

child, but recently, a new policy has been announced and people can have the

second child. It sounds like the good news for the family, as the only child can

have a sibling to company. While for some parents, they seem to be not the

qualified parents. A boy complained that his parents’ second child was the smart

phone, because they lowed down their heads all the time. Many parents did not

realize the lack of communication with their children. If they want another

child, they’d better learn to communicate their kids first.
