今天，我和爸爸妈妈一起去成都玩，已经约好了舅舅来接我们的，但我们把下车的地点弄错了，舅舅没在那儿。

妈妈着急的打电话，可好久了舅舅也没有来，我牵着妈妈的手，问道：“舅舅怎么还没来呢?我们回去了吧!”妈妈笑了，说：“别急，舅舅一会儿就来了。”

这时候，天下起雨来，妈妈用一个包把我遮住，不停的四下张望，可仍然不见舅舅的踪影。原来舅舅走反了方向，与我们背道而驰了，怎么能找到我们呢?他走了好远，又往回走，所以耽搁了好长一段时间。

在我们等舅舅的时候，一个面包车司机在旁边停了下来，假惺惺的问这问那，一看就不是好人样，哼，我才不会理这样的人呢!那人见我们不理他，最后驾着车灰溜溜的走了。

当舅舅找到我们的时候才发现，原来我们坐车坐过了站，不过距他等我们的地方只有四五百米。唉，居然没看见我们，还转了一个大圈。把我们也急坏了。

可怕的车祸

第二天，我们一起出去玩，在一个立交桥下，看到围着好些人，我在公交车上伸长脖子一看，“天啊!”，我不由地惊叫起来。

只见一辆水泥搅拌车停在那儿，在搅拌车的左前轮下，一辆电动车前轮被撵得稀烂，交警在那儿仔细的查看情况，人们七嘴八舌的谈论着，一些骑车的人也将车停在一旁，仔细的了解着事故情况，也许是想受到点现场教育吧。

但地上没有血迹，骑电动车的人也不知去向，也许是被送去医院了吧，或许伤得不是很重，希望是这样的。

想起前一段时间成都公交车燃烧事故，看到车辆来往穿梭，我越发感到交通法规的重要了。同学们以后出行，千万要注意遵守交通规则啊!

没有看到的日全食

7月22日这一天，最大的事情莫过于观测日全食了，成都新闻从早上六点多就现场直播，画面上好多人摆着专业的观测工具，

还有好些人专程赶到成都来看日全食呢。更有趣的是，居然有一对新人在今天坐热气球观日食结婚，有好多人为他们喝彩呢!

结果，天公不作美，天上一直阴沉沉的，太阳老躲在云背后，或许她也害羞了呢!这么多人同时看他，虽然是高高在上的太阳公公，也扭捏起来了。

初亏是看不到了，人们感觉没什么变化，日食正在进行中，天空也没什么显著的变化，依然是阴沉沉的，但没有电视里说的黑暗瞬间的到来，我们将信将疑的看着天空，云依然很厚，太阳只是偶尔露出一点点，但很快就躲回去了。

也许是太阳公公觉得人们快失望了，随着日全食的时间临近，天色很快暗了下来。人们沸腾了，大人小孩都目不转睛的盯着天上，鸟儿们在天空中惊奇的飞翔，城市的灯火也亮了起来。

没有谁注意时间，也许就一两分钟吧，天空就像夜晚一样暗了下来，人们的喧闹声此起彼伏，大人们竭力装出一幅不是很在意的样子，小孩们却不管这么多了，大声的喊着，闹着，尽情享受着自然给我们带来的乐趣。

突然间，天空一层层的亮开了，就那么一阵阵的亮开的，全然不是平时的样子，而且速度也比黑下来时快得多，好神奇啊!

Firstly, it is very important for us to take more fruits and vegetables because they provide vitamins and they help in the process of digestion. Secondly, we have to keep a balanced diet and maintain regular eating habits. Proper nutrition is important for good health. Avoid food with lots of sugar and fat. Eat plenty of foods high in protein. Thirdly, we?d better do morning exercise every day, do sports frequently to make our bodies strong. Besides, we have to avoid too much work pressure. Getting too tired all the time may definitely weaken our defense system, making us get sick easily. Finally, we have to get rid of those bad habits that damage our health, such as drinking and smoking.

Nowadays more and more programs are shown every day. My favorite program is "Discovery" which is broadcasted by CCTV at 5clock every other afternoon, except weekends. 寒假一开始，我所关注的一部新片即将放映——《喜羊羊与灰太狼》。我早就跟老妈约定，只要上映就去观看!

星期三下午，我和老妈直奔万达影城。运气超好，正好买到3：15的票，立即就进入放映厅。

影片开始了，这次讲的是苦瓜大王想要用苦味苦化地球，统治月球，甚至想统治地球。而喜羊羊、灰太狼它们也一起上了月球。当喜羊羊它们得知月球即将发生前所未有的大灾难，而能拯救月球的只有喜羊羊它爸爸妈妈(智羊羊和丽羊羊)留给它的智能铃铛。可恶的苦瓜大王把红太狼和小灰灰都捉住，并威胁灰太狼把喜羊羊的智能铃铛偷走。

幸亏喜羊羊找到甜甜树种，及时种下……一直是反派角色的灰太狼，这次却在关键时刻因为流出了带甜味的眼泪，使得月球又被甜化。最后苦瓜大王也喜欢了甜味，成了小甜甜。

通过观看这部影片，让我懂了，不管遇到什么困难，只要大家携手同心，集众人智慧，齐心协力，一定会战胜困难!

愉快的暑假生活已经开始了，假期里我为自己制定了一个计划，让自己的假期生活丰富多彩。

首先，我和暑假作业展开了赛跑，在妈妈的监督下，我每天认真完成暑假作业。每天坚持看课外书，看书不仅可以增长知识，还可以放松心情。每天坚持跳绳和踢足球，提高自己的身体素质。

其次，在假期里不仅要学得认真，而且也要玩得开心。前几天我和姑姑一起去康巴什玩，那里有很多好玩的：有刺激的碰碰车，可以欣赏美丽风景的摩天轮和心惊胆战的高空过山车。刚到了那里爸爸就给我们买了过山车的门票，我慢悠悠地走上去，一脸不情愿的坐上去。刚开始上坡的时候，我觉得没那么紧张，紧接着车加快了速度，前面是一个下坡，车像一只猎豹抓猎物似的“狂奔”而下，我的心里就像兜着一只小兔子一样“砰砰”，砰砰地跳，在过山车急转弯的时候，我的心就像飞了出去，而在我们的头朝下的一刹那，我感觉自己已经昏迷了过去，我不敢睁开眼睛。很快到达了终点，我长长地舒了一口气，风呼呼地吹过，好像在让我放松心情。

The Lantern Festival which occurs on the 15-th day of the First Month of the Chinese Year marks the end of the New Years Holidays.

Lanterns are everywhere. A most interesting tradition is the posting of riddles called Lantern Riddles. Riddles are written on pieces of paper and posted on lanterns or wall. Any one solving the riddle is awarded a prize. And the food for lantern festival is Tang Yuan i have made some Tang Yuan in a ginger soup my wife got a serious cold so i cooked a pot of ginger soup for her. I look forward to the next spring festival.

想象中的暑假是快乐无忧、笑声常伴左右的。但所有的一切都出乎了我的意料，这个暑假是枯燥乏味，毫无生机的。唉，这还没有放假呢，就被考试折腾成了一只“落汤鸡”。本以为放假之后，可以尽情的放松一番，调节调节心情，但就在有这个念头不久，假期补课这个“噩耗”就传来了，弄得我像被霜打了的茄子——焉了，似乎所有的念头一下子都被抛到了九霄云外。

在学校补了几天课后，不知由于什么缘故，不补了。这可把我高兴得如一只脱笼之鹄。但好景不长，父母一向是望子成龙，望女成凤，所以他们又把我送去“充电”了。这可把我气的火冒三丈。我这个人，该学习的时候绝不马虎，不该学习的时候就连阎王老子拿我也没有办法，这可是天下“无人不晓”的。为此，我就抠了一肚子火，真不知道这个暑假是属于谁的。

补课期间，我不甘心自己的暑假就这样在别人的控制中度过，于是便想玩个痛快、刺激点的，所以就学着别人在课上看漫画。谁料这一看，就把我推进了“火坑”，不知是谁向老师通风报信，还是我留下了“蛛丝马迹”，给老师的“火眼金睛”给发现了!此后我每天都在躲躲藏藏、心惊胆战中过日子。补课接近了尾声，我的心才渐渐平静了下来。

补课之后，我唯有一个愿望，就是静下来“安度晚年”，但是同学一个又一个的电话却搅得我“鸡犬不宁”我的同学找我到他家玩，晚上还要在他家住，我犹豫了，说我要和父母商量一下，才能给他答案。但我知道我这样说纯粹是安慰他，因为我知道，父母的答案一定是“不行”。但我还是抱着试一试的想法。晚上，我便试着去闯父亲的“鬼门关”，没想到，这一关竟然顺利过了我兴高采烈，满怀信心的又去闯母亲的“十八罗汉阵”。但是，这一关我没有闯过去，反而搞得我是伤痕累累。此前我抠在肚子里的火气一下子全都冲着母亲发了出来，引来了母亲的一顿“拳脚”。我满腹委屈，泪水在眼眶里打转，但我不敢说一句话来反驳，于是我采取绝食的办法来对抗母亲的“暴力”。唉!但由于我天生是个“馋嘴”，才绝了一天，就忍不住了。就这样，“绝食风波”平息了，暑假也在刺激和无奈中过去了!

我的暑假没有名胜古迹来丰富我的阅历，没有笑声陪伴我的左右，只有老师的抑扬顿挫和爸爸妈妈的“鞭策”。悲哉，我的暑假生活!

往年我的假期生活都没什么可说的，这一年我的假期生活，因为表妹的出现，我有得可写，有得可说了。

表妹比我小两岁，今年也有差不多十岁了。她来我家和我度过这个假期生活的第一天，她就悄悄凑在我的耳朵边上告诉我，“姐姐，你的假期生活好无聊，我带你过一个有趣的假期生活吧!”从那一天开始，每天早晨不到七点，表妹就会在我的床头把我挠醒，然后嚷嚷着我们一起去看朝霞。这一举动着实把我吓一跳，我问她：“你以前的假期都会那么早起来去看朝霞吗?”表妹使劲点着她的小脑袋说：“是呀!以前我这个点儿已经在看朝霞啦!”

没办法，我就这样成为了一个每天早晨带着妹妹去看朝霞的姐姐，还别说，早上天空里上映的朝霞，是我见过最美的云彩，我也从不太习惯早起，变成了一个爱早起的人了。有表妹在的这个假期生活，除了看朝霞，感受朝霞的美，我也随着表妹的习惯，变成了一个爱画画的姐姐。

这个假期的每一个下午，表妹都会拉着我一起画画。别看表妹现在还只有十岁，但她在画画方面已经有了极好的训练，她画的画，每一次都能够叫我吃惊不已，像是她的世界里有了另外一个美丽的世界，她是负责将那个世界展示出来的人。所以在讲到画画这件事是一点儿也不是我带着她画画，更多的是她这个“小画家”带着我在画画，我是那个向她学习画画的人，而她则是一个画画方面的小小老师，一边画着一边影响着我。

这一年的假期生活里，还有许许多多的事情都是随着表妹的出现而出现的，让我在假期生活即将结束时，竟然期待起表妹下一次来我家的假期生活了。

Im going to take a long vacation next week, because its May Day. Although the weather is bad, I’m still taking a vacation. I want to do something interesting. I heard that Mount Yandang is a good place to have fun. So Im thinking about going to Mount Yandang. I really want to go with my classmates. And its exciting for me to go camping. I hope I finish my homework early. Im leaving on Thursday and staying until Saturday. Im taking a walk, going fishing, going bike riding and so on. I hope I can forget all my problems! A great vacation, I cant wait!

My vacation

This years summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.

I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening spoken English. They all made great progress. Their parents all thought highly of me. I now realize that knowledge is very needed in the countryside.
