Yi Jianlian is a good basketballer. He is born in Heshan, Guangdong. He is 2.12 meters tall and 113 kilos. He is taller than many people, and he is hangsome and kind. He works hard in the match and in the training. So his coach and team friends all like him.

Yi Jianlian began his career quite early. When he was fifteen years old, he came into CBA. In 2002, he got the first gold medal——Asia Youth championship’s champion. After that, he helped Guangdong team win 3 gold medals from 2003 to 2006 CBA championships. And he von the CBA MVP from 2005 to 2006. In 2006 Asian Games, he got 16.6 points and 10.3 rebounds. On June 28th, 2007, Yi Jianlian came into NBA! All the Chinese people were excited. Because he is the fourth Chinese basketballer who came into NBA. All the people hope he can become better and better..

I think there is no one would say “no” to travel. People love travel, for it can make them relax and widen their vision. Some people like to travel with friends, because they want to share the pleasure of traveling, and they think the journey will be much easier for they can take care of each other. While some people like to travel alone, they can go anywhere in anytime. They don’t have to care about what the partner’s idea. In my opinion, I’m much preferred to travel with friends, but I always have an urge to travel alone.

Firstly, I was told that travel alone can help people to grow up quickly, and that’s what I really need. If you travel alone, you have to do everything by yourself in the journey, for instance, to buy a ticket, to book hotel, and ask directions. That maybe just a small case for extrovert, but for introvert, like me, it’s really a big challenge. I remember the first time I go to travel with friends and my little brother, they did everything, and I just follow and had fun. I even too shame to check into a hotel, and my little brother did it for me. I was humiliated for that. So, travel alone could force introvert to do the things that you don’t dare to do. It could help you to build an outgoing personality. For extrovert, travel alone could enhance your ability to handle emergence case.

Last summer,i went to the beijing with my parents and my best friends.i went to visit the palace of museum,there was very beautiful and very big.then,i went shopping with my best friends,the clothes were very cool and cute,in the afternoon,i ate the lunch in the quanjude restaurant,the duck was very delicious.

I finished my home work in one week. And I went shoppingwith my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then,it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. Myparents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinnerwas so delicious that I ate so full. My vacation

This years summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.

I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening spoken English. They all made great progress. Their parents all thought highly of me. I now realize that knowledge is very needed in the countryside.

Summer Holiday in Taiwan

Summer can be very hot in southern Taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.

Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation， however， was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words， I must find time to study， too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

it was a sun day of the summer holiday. the weather was hot. my little brother and i decided to go to the resrvoir to swim by bike. it took us half an hour when we got there, many people were swimming. the we dived into the water……

about an hour later, suddenly somebody called: “help! help!” we were surprised to see a boy struggling in the deep water. as quickly as possible. we swam towards him and pulled him to the shore. he lost his consciousness. we sent him to the nearest hospital at once luckily, he was saved.

in the end, we were worn out, but felt happy. that day was meaningful. we did a good deed!

With development of science and technology, new knowledge comes every day. If you stop learning even for a day,you will be lost. Reading is a good way to help you keep in touch with the outside world. Read widely and youll be rich in knowledge. Reading is also a good way to relax yourself. 寒假一开始，我所关注的一部新片即将放映——《喜羊羊与灰太狼》。我早就跟老妈约定，只要上映就去观看!

星期三下午，我和老妈直奔万达影城。运气超好，正好买到3：15的票，立即就进入放映厅。

影片开始了，这次讲的是苦瓜大王想要用苦味苦化地球，统治月球，甚至想统治地球。而喜羊羊、灰太狼它们也一起上了月球。当喜羊羊它们得知月球即将发生前所未有的大灾难，而能拯救月球的只有喜羊羊它爸爸妈妈(智羊羊和丽羊羊)留给它的智能铃铛。可恶的苦瓜大王把红太狼和小灰灰都捉住，并威胁灰太狼把喜羊羊的智能铃铛偷走。

幸亏喜羊羊找到甜甜树种，及时种下……一直是反派角色的灰太狼，这次却在关键时刻因为流出了带甜味的眼泪，使得月球又被甜化。最后苦瓜大王也喜欢了甜味，成了小甜甜。

通过观看这部影片，让我懂了，不管遇到什么困难，只要大家携手同心，集众人智慧，齐心协力，一定会战胜困难!

This week I mostly stayed at home and did some homework. Last Saturday HP6 had just come out. And many Harry Potter fans went to buy it. I did’t buy it because it was too expensive, but I downloaded it on the Internet. It was in English. Many people went on translating as soon as the book came out. I also took part in it and became a part of the translating group. From this group, I first realized that my English was so poor. I needed to look up in the dictionary all the time. It was really troublesome. But I withheld and withheld. I had translated many paragraphs. I was the youngest among the translators, but I didn’t feel there was much pressure. My vacation

my winter holiday is very dull. i stay at home for most of time. sometimes i visit my friends and play basketball with them. sometimes we go shopping.

one day， we go to the kfc. we have hamburgers， chicken coke and french fries. we have sore throats. we go home and have a rest. then we feel better. we go and play puter games! how mad we are!

this is the only thing i can talk about in the holiday.

Behind every great achievement in anyones life lies perseverance. We see

this in every human endeavor. Outstanding sportsmen spend all their time

practising. Their endurance is beyond imagination.

The same is true of businessmen who build up fortunes. What we usually see

are their achievements, but once we go behind the scenes we will find that they

have put in a lot of continual steady efforts. We all have read of great

musicians, writers and inventors who have created or discovered breakthroughs in

partner. It is doubtful whether many of us would have had the perseverance to

anyone who keeps working perseveringly and lack of perseverance can only result

in frustration and failure.

My summer holiday began on july.8,i plan to go to travel in my summer holiday.i will travel to zhangjiajie.i will go there by train.i will travel with my mother and my father and other friends.i will travel for five days.i also plan to do my homework in my summer holiday.i think i will have a good time.

It was a sunny day today,when i got up in the morning,i decided to see my grandparents.so i took the bus got there at noon,they were happy to see me,and i was very happy,too.

In the afternoon,my farther asked me to help him water the plant,and i was happy to see the flowers smiling in the wind.

In a word,today is a unforgetive day.because i saw my relatives helped people.

Henry is a little fatter than he wants to be. He is a bit worried. He

Nowadays， more and more people like to travel in their holidays. The other day I read a report about the ways people spend their holidays. It is reported that in recent yiars several new holiday habits have been developed. Among them， the most interesting one is the growth of the so-called holiday camps.

From the report we can see that in 20XX，40 percent of people stayed at home for holidays. But now the proportion has reduced to 9 percent. More people go out for fun. The proportion of camping and traveling abroad was increasing steadily， from 10 percent in 20XX to 38 percent in 20XX， and 12 percent in 20XX to 26 percent in 20XX respectively. People enjoy the fresh air， clean Water and green hills when they go camping in the suburbs. In 20XX，38 percent people enjoyed going to the seaside while in 20XX only 27 percent prefer to go there. What great changes!

Why did those changes appear? I think there are several reasons. First， it s because people can afford traveling. Second， people prefer to pursue a high-quality and colorful life. Third， their attitudes to relaxation have changed. Less people want to save much money by leading a simple life. In short， peoples living standard today has been rising greatly.

Chinese people are now face to a serious problem--pollution. And this problem is a little bit different from others--the goverment can not solve it by themselves. We need everyone to protect our environment. But we also know that it is very hard to call everyone to join us to protect the environment. But it seems that they have found the way to let everybody know it. In a report, Anhui Daily called on residents to help protect the river against pollution. I am so glad about it. And i believe that somewhere the pollution must stop.

Just days before the arrival of winter vacation, Im still thinking what to do to make my life more meaningful winter vacation. I suddenly thought of mother daily toil in recent years, always wash his clothes, and cook for us every day, mop the floor... Such as housework. Change is my words might complain about, but mother doesnt even have a complain about words, mom is really great!! So I decided to a large mobilization "family", want to let mom have a good rest, to comfort her daily toil. Come before the Spring Festival, cleaning, make the home look brand-new, like a pipe dream of beautiful.

In addition, I want a winter vacation, go to the aunt home borrows a few good book. As a result, there are two benefits: first, can increase my knowledge. 另外，我想要在寒假的时候，去阿姨家借阅几本好书。这样一来，有两种好处：一、可以增加我的知识。二、就不会去想到电脑，电脑就像个顽皮的小猴子，只会告诉我：“快来帮我开机，我在等你唷!”一不小心就会掉进深渊───增加我的近视度数!!

看!! 我的寒假计划很充实吧!! 我也觉得这样一来在这个暑假，我会过的很快乐、很开心的。愿这个寒假能带来给我更多的快乐!

In the Spring Festival, people will be most happy and happy appearance face their own life.
