善待地球——从节约资源开始。全社会都在通过各种各样的途径和手段来节约资源。我爸爸妈妈带我到工厂进行过调查。我到了胶合板厂，亲眼目睹了工人是怎样制作胶合板的。我惊奇地发现，这种胶合板的“内脏”并不是什么罕见的稀世珍宝，而是木糠和一些废弃的木材边角料，工人们以出神入化的工艺，配上精致的图案，就做成了各种各样令人爱不释手的家具配件。那儿的老总说：“我们上游的工厂，使用的是好料，他们生产过程中产生的木糠、刨花、边角料，就送到我们这儿来，我们运用新工艺把它生产成胶合板。”这是通过延长产业链来节约资源。我来到水泥厂，那儿的老总向我介绍说：“水泥厂其实就是吃垃圾的厂——你看，我们建设这个厂，吃了周边工厂所有的煤渣。”这是自然资源的综合利用。我又到了一个木材加工厂进行调查，这儿的老总对我说：“我们每年都会‘吃掉’很多木头，但是，我们‘吃掉’多少，我们就补种多少。毁树容易，种树难啊!”是的，与其在资源枯竭之后再大费周折地采取补救措施，不如在使用时多加小心，那就不用费心地收拾烂摊子了——节约资源就是善待地球。

珍惜资源，崇尚节约就是在创造财富。孩提时代，我们就能背诵“谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦”。节约的意识在我们很年幼的时候就根植心中，但是，现在我们的家庭条件好了，富足了，却不懂得珍惜，也忘记了节约了。一张好好的白纸，只写了几个字就扔掉了，有的只用了一面，另一面还是空白的就仍掉了;不然就无聊地在纸上乱写乱画。通过调查，我了解到：学校里80%以上的学生都不注意节约用纸。以一个人一天浪费一张纸来计算，一年下来就浪费了0。05棵树，全世界一年就浪费了将近3亿棵树，而生产一吨纸要伐掉17棵碗口粗的大树，同时耗水270-400吨;回收一吨废纸可生产0。8吨再生纸，相当于节省4立方米的木材。因此，节约一张纸，就是在保护一片森林，也是在节约水资源。

We mustn switch off the lights when students are the last to leave the classroom. After that, we mustnt leave the kettle on unattended. 3月22日，是世界水日。一大早，我们小记者就从四面八方赶到了马陵公园，和早已等候在那里的叔叔阿姨一起发传单，宣传水资源保护的知识。

随后，我们坐上了参观的大巴。车子向骆马湖驶去，据领队介绍那可是我们市区几十万人生活饮用水的取水处。来到湖边，湖面一望无际，那清澈洁净的水在风的吹拂下，涌起了一层层洁白的浪花，拍在河坝上，多像一首动听的交响曲呀!远远望去，几艘小船随波荡漾，湖面上许多白色的浮标，我想那一定是养鱼的。骆马湖可真是咱们宿迁的宝库呀!

我们还参观了洋河滩闸和嶂山闸，了解我们宿迁丰富的水资源，正是在许多水务工作者的悉心呵护下，我们宿迁才会拥有这清澈洁净的生命之源。看着这清清的水，我突然想到生活中有许多浪费水的现象，用过的水龙头一直在滴着，随处乱倒的垃圾污染了水源，有的工厂竟然排放污水……这不但浪费了水资源，还直接影响了我们人类的健康，破坏了生态环境，使人类走向灭亡。保护水资源就是保护我们的家园，如果不节约用水珍惜用水，那么世界上最后一滴水也就是人类的眼泪!

让我们大家一起节约用水，保护水资源!

资源，并不是取之不尽，用之不竭，有的可以靠劳动，再次创造出来，而有的，却再也无法挽回。地球，也不是可以随意破坏的。在这个21世纪，在这个科技腾飞的世纪，工厂、汽车、……成了污染地球的“恶魔。”

随着人类的发明，生活越来越好了，但无限制的砍伐树木，使大地失去了天然的保护层，热带雨林面积正在迅速地缩小，据估计，正以正以每年11万平方公里的速度在减少。原本一条条清澈见底的小河已经变得乌黑，有些还长满了绿草，以致鱼、虾呼吸不到新鲜空气，全部漂浮在水面上。人类为了自己的生活，开设了成千上万的电场和工厂，污水被排入到河道中，河成了废河;废气直入云天，空气受到污染，变得浑浊;蓝天再也谈不上“湛蓝”，以被废气熏得发黑;从汽车的排气管中排出的气，在四周分散开来，空气全被污染了。

地球上的垃圾更是堆积如山。不仅如此，人类也在不断浪费资源，把用过的“资源”随手仍掉，成了垃圾，不但浪费了资源，而且污染了环境。如今，地球表面的绿色越来越少，多数以被黄色占领，主要原因是人类无休止地砍伐导致树木大量减少，沙漠化增加。

我们现在必须节约资源，让以前失去的“绿色”尽快恢复，不再浪费水资源，让地球不再受到伤害。

节约资源，保护地球，就等于保护了我们的家园，否则，空气就会得浑浊，最后的一滴水必将是人类的眼泪!

As we know , water is very important to man,we can’t live without water. The amount of water which is suitable to drink is less and less. But some people don’t care about it .They waste a lot of water in their daily life. Even worse, they pour dirty water in to rivers. They throw rubbish into rivers , too. Many rivers and lakes are seriously polluted. Something must be done to stop the pollution.Only in this way can we live happily. If we don’t save water, the last drop of water will be a tear-drop of us.

古往今来,地球妈妈用甘甜的乳汁哺育了无数代子孙.原来的她被小辈们装饰得楚楚动人.可是,现在人类为了自身的利益,将她折磨得天昏地暗.人类只有一个地球;而地球正面临着严峻的环境危机.“救救地球”已成为世界各国人民最强烈的呼声.

As we know water is made up of our life,we could not leave without water.No water will no we.

Water is needed more and more,because our industry and agriculture produce developed fast.Somewhere water are scare,and some rivers are no water in them.But just little water is polluted,more waste water did not handled and discharge into river.

Around us there are a lot of students dont pay attention to save water,for example: after they washing their face and rinsing the mouth,they dont turn off the water tap .Let the water flowing day and night. What a pity!

Expect the tings I just mention,there are more and more in our life.So now I hope our students take care of wate.And the same time we need do things to prevent water pollute as we can do .Thats what I want to say.Why not do it right now,come on .

长期以来，人们普遍认为水是取之不尽，用之不竭的。在日常生活中用水不知道珍惜。事实上，我们在日常用水中存在着相当严重的问题，稍加留意，就会发现自己身边的却在着浪费水资源的现象。节约用水，不仅仅是一句口号，应该从爱惜一点一滴水做起。

水，也是自然中非常宝贵的资源。虽然地球上的海洋面积约占总面积的70%，但是能用于饮用的淡水却日渐缺乏。在学校里，常常有学生洗完手后不关水龙头，任那水流“哗哗”响。还有人甚至用矿泉水洗手，洗杯子。可用水资源正一天天减少，也许“世界上最后的一滴水就是人的眼泪”真的会来临的。

让我们从身边做起，从自今天，我在电视中看到了一个经常出现的广告，是一种植物，用袋子包住24小时，从里面可以取出一丁点儿水，然后电视上显示了一些字“如果您现在不节约用水，那么50年后您将用这个窍门儿取水。”是啊，水资源在人类胡乱浪费。污染的情况下渐渐枯竭，水资源可是有限的啊，有一句话说得太好了“地球上的最后一滴水，或许就是人的眼泪”，到时候人类会和动物植物一起灭亡。到时候或者还会世界大乱，杀人的事情到处都是，为什么要杀人呢?因为渴呀!喝血!人类啊!现在后悔还来得及，再等就完了啊!

我前些天还在电视中看到了一大大堆墓碑，这些墓碑不是人的，而是一部分已经灭亡了的动物，比如：新疆虎。普氏野马。高鼻羚羊。台湾云豹等等，我说的还都是20世纪灭亡的动物，不光人有生存的权利，动物也有，但是人类却随意杀生，不顾后果的杀生，等某种动物到了快要灭绝的时候了，才知道保护，有的已经晚了，有的还能挽回，正如小品中说的：“汽车撞墙了你知道拐了，鼻涕留到嘴里你知道甩了，股票涨起来你知道买了!”珍爱动物吧!

还有被人类威胁着的植物，用一个不恰当的词来形容人类“忘恩负义”植物给予我们多少好处，人类根本就离不开植物，可是人类却研制了许多种毒药，来毒死植物，这不跟三国时期的吕布差不多吗?

保护地球，保护地球上的一切生物，这不是只需要国家主席关心的，也不是只需要国家总统关心的，是全人类应该关心的，课本上不是说了“他活着别人就不能活的人，他的下场可以看到”人类就是那个他或者别人就不能活的人，而动植物就是这句话中第二种人。

人类现在是在犯罪啊!现在后悔非常来得及，不要再执迷不悟了!己做起，从家里做起，节约资源，保护我们人类赖以生存的地球吧!

Last week, I took part in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There were twelve students in the final contest. I was one of them.

Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty.

Then I took a deep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as good as I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whose process was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. I am sure I will be better next time.

现在的社会越来越进步，人民也越来越富有，大家的生活也越来越奢侈，东西用不到一、两天就丢弃，在学校总是看到一袋又一袋的遗失物品找不到主人，要是大家肯爱惜物品，就不会浪费这些东西了。

在餐厅，总是看到客人把没吃完的饭、菜、肉拿去丢掉，如果能加以利用这些东西的话，也能把它们变成环保的有机肥料，更有效的废物再利用，上班时，不需要开车，可以开车或骑脚踏车代步，这样不但可以节省昂贵的油钱，也能锻鍊自己的体力，使身体保持健康，更可以减少二氧化碳的排量，真是一举三得呀！

在家中，总是看到电、水费的支出越来越多，原来是没有随手关掉家中的电灯，在现在，随手关灯已经成了许多的环保机关常用的言语了，在平常，如果把洗米、洗菜的水拿去浇花，也可以替自己节省一笔支出。

大家如果能节约不浪费，并且将丢弃的物品废物再利用，养成随手关电的习惯，也能够共同拥有一个美好的地球，相反的，如果大家不断的浪费物品，总有一天地球上的资源一定会枯竭，因此，让我们一起来营造个美丽的地球吧！

And I have some suggestions following: we could cycle the water we just used them to wash clothes to water the plants or to rush the toilet; when we wash our hands, we could turn the tap off for the moment we put soap on our hands etc.  So if we want to save water sincerely, we could save it at home .

When early man invented clothes,he probably wanted to keep warm.I am sure he never intended that it should become as elaborate as it has become today.For many a year,traditional clothes and modern clothes have been in competition as to which of them make the wearer more beautiful.But it does seem that a lot of modern clothes are simpler and more practical.Perhaps we are moving back to the age of cavemen who wore clothes for practical purposes.

Modern clothes are definitely more practical as against traditional clothes.Almost all people now wear modern clothes.Nowadays even more and more people wear casual clothes.Jeans are everywhere except at formal parties.T-shirts are common,too.They look comfortable and fashionable.However,there are also a lot of people who take the trouble to dress well in formal clothes like shirts,trousers and suits.I find them smart,too.

But then,it is important to hold on to our topic.In my opinion,each type of dress has its place.Modern clothes are ideal for most situations,while casual clothes are worn more freely.As to traditional clothes,they must be worn for special occasions
