The quality of human life has improved greatly over the past few centuries, but Earth is being harmed more and more by human activity. As we develop our technology, we demand more from our planet. Eventually, this will harm people as well.

Our planet gives us everything we need, but natural resources are not endless. Strip mining devastates whole regions, leaving bare and useless ground. Deforestation removes old growth trees that cant be replaced. Too much fishing may harm fish populations to the point where they cant recover. We are too careless in taking what we want without giving anything back.

There are more people than ever, living longer that ever. So is it any surprise that many areas suffer from too much development? Anyone living in or near a city has experienced "urban sprawl". It is natural that difficulties hide in every corner of our life,so we have to face them at times.But the problem is that sometimes we can do nothing to the challenging situations as our abilities are limited.In this case,what can we do is to change our attitude towards these difficulties.Just as the saying goes,”You can’t change the weather,but you can change your mood.”

高中生活并不是想象中的悠哉悠哉。课后，虽不像中考时剑拔弩张，但空气中仍充斥着一些奥妙，似乎很少人想输在起跑线上。有的同学趴在课桌上，正为下面的课“充电”，有的滔滔不绝的讲着什么趣事，而更多的同学在奋笔疾书，时而低头沉思，时而翻翻书，念叨念叨。而我就是这其中的一员。面对各种功课，我能做的只是坦然接受，手中的那支笔似乎永远都在努力耕耘。生活就是这样，总是舍与得的抉择，但只要我们有所付出，那么，在金色的季节里总有所收获。

片段三

深夜，我仍然未眠，只是安静的躺在床上，看着窗外，灯光是混的，月色是清的。在混沌的月光里，渗入了一派请辉。那月儿已经消瘦了几分。她晚妆早罢，盈盈的悬挂在天间。经过秋雨的洗刷，天是蓝的可爱，仿佛一汪水似的，月亮更是出落得精神。倏地，有些室友也在辗转反侧，难以入睡。而我却从悦人的月儿中，领悟了什么，便欣然入睡。总有一天，我们需要走陌生的路，认识陌生的人，做陌生的事，处之泰然就是适应环境的必杀技。

这就是我的高一新生活，简单却不随意，紧张而不乏味。只要我用心体味生活，就会发现生活的精彩无限。

三年时间如白驹过隙，在不知不觉中就要过完了，经历颇多，收获颇多，伴随着挫折与成功，这一路走来，虽不辉煌，也算灿烂。

高一，是对一切事物都好奇的时期。新学校、新老师、新同学……，什么都是新的，几乎所有的都是从零开始。回想高一开学，我担任学习委员与舍长这两个职务，班级里与学习有关的事务都是由我一手经办。课代表的工作怎样开展，学习的氛围怎样营造。这一切让我体会到了“白手起家”的“创业”艰辛。“事在人为，没有过不去的坎，没有解决不了的问题”，是我那时坚守的信念。伴随着成功与挫折，我学会了挑战困难，永不放下，也学会了承担职责。宿舍从刚开始的天天整改到了天天优秀，班级学习成绩由级部一般到名列前茅，其中经历颇为灿烂。

高二，是按部就班的时期。没有了高一的好奇，对一切事物都变得熟悉，生活的轨道就在这按部就班中向前延伸，一切事物都在按部就班中进行，没有了浮躁，多了些沉稳。与此同时，知识的积累也在突飞猛进。这是一个量变的过程，正如煤炭的构成，开始时用超多的木材，最后的结果却只有一小块。沉浸在积累中，虽然枯燥而艰难，但也正是在这一时期，我学会了沉稳和淡泊。非淡泊无以明志，非宁静无以致远，生活虽然平淡，但思想却异常灿烂。

高三，是突破自我、挑战自我的时期。为了实现自我的远大理想，考入理想的大学，孜孜不倦地拚搏。原先的作息已经不足以适应新的生活，原先的习惯也不足以应对新的挑战。我与时俱进，跟上了高三的节奏，在两次大型考试中迈出了两大步，在激烈的竞争中勇往直前，不断攀登新高峰，实现一个又一个目标。在辛苦的付出过程中，我收获了成功，也收获了永不言弃、用心向上的人生态度。虽然要克服许多困难，但只有克服困难，才能完善自我，才能提高自我，发挥出自我的潜能，乐观地对待每一个问题，充满自信地去解决每一个问题，以用心向上、不畏困难的人生态度激励自我不断进步，最终到达自我的目标。有着成就感的陪伴，高三，也十分灿烂。

作为人生最重要的经历之一，高中三年，我收获很多。那些失败与成功，那些痛苦与幸福，酸甜苦辣，已经成为我最宝贵的人生财富，存入我的人生经历这个宝库中去了。

I get up at seven oclock in the morning every day. After I brush my teeth

and wash face, I eat my breakfast. My mother makes the breakfast for me. I go to

school at 7:30 am, and come back from school at 6:00pm. Before I go to bed I

will do some homework. I usually go to sleep at 10:00pm. On the weekend, I will

go to play football with my friends, in the summer we like to go swimming. These

are my daily life.
