一.名词

写作中，学生们常把握不好名词的数、所有格以及一些集合名词的用法。

1.Hegavemeaverygoodadviceyesterday.

句中的a要去掉，因为advice是不可数名词。一些汉语概念为可数的词在英语中却是不可数的，表示数量时在要其前加apieceof，类似的词有：news,bread,work,paper,chalk,furniture,information等等。

2.Thatgirllovesreadingbook.

可数名词单数不能孤零零地放在句子里，或前面加冠词，或将其变为复数。此处最好变为books.

3.Hewentintoabooksshopandboughtadictionary.

一般表示有生命的东西的名词的所有格用’s，如mymother’scar,而此处适宜用名词修饰名词，改为abookshop.

4.MyfamilyiswatchingTV.

一些集合名词如看成一个整体，则用单数的谓语动词，如Myfamilyisahappyone.如果强调集合中每个个体的个人行为，则用复数的谓语动词。此处看电视是个体行为，应把is改为are。类似的词有：team,class,audience等。

5.Iboughtsomepotatosandtomatosatthesupermarket.

中学阶段，以“o”结尾的名词中有四个词变复数时要加es，它们是tomato,potato,Negro,hero;其余的都加s变为复数。

6.Thishasnothingtodowiththeirbelieves.（这和他们的信仰没关系。）

以f,fe结尾的词变为复数时一般去f,fe加ves，如knife—knives,

thief—thieves;而roof和belief直接加s变为复数。所以应把believes改为beliefs.

二.冠词

7.Thebosswantstohireanusefulperson.

用a还是an，取决于后面单词音标中的第一个音，如为元音用an，为辅音用a。useful的第一个音是辅音所以应把an改为a。类似的，我们说aEuropeancountry.

8.Planeisamachinethatcanfly.

plane为可数名词单数，不能单独放在句中，应在其前加冠词或把它变为复数，而本句后有amachine,因此只能在其前面加a，变为Aplane。

9.Heplayedapianoatthepartyyesterday.

把a改为the，因为乐器前用定冠词。

10.Themachinewasinventedin1920s.

在in后加the，因为表示年代用in加the再加几十的复数，如在八十年代inthe80s。

11.XiaoHongwenttoschoolbythebuseveryday.

去掉the，因为表示交通方式用by直接加交通工具。

三.代词

使用代词时请注意其单、复数，主、宾格以及形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词的用法。

定语从句的先行词是thosespeakers，为复数，因此从句中的指示代词应为复数，应把his改为their。

13.Whomdoyouthinkhasleftthelightson?

放在疑问句特殊疑问词后的doyouthink/believe/guess/imagine/suppose等都不参与句子成分。本句中去掉doyouthink后缺的是主语，应把Whom改为Who。

14.ThebosspretendednottoseeJohnandI.

John和I在句中都做的宾语，应把I改为me。

15.Thesebooksaremine；thoseinthebagareher.

her是形容词性物主代词，后面应该加名词books，或把her改为hers。

四.数词

16.Therearefourteenhundredsstudentsinourschool.

hundred/thousand/million/score/dozen等词前有具体数字时后不加s，前面没有具体数字时在其后加s和of，表示大约几百几千的概念。如two

hundredstudents（两百个学生），hundredsofstudents（成百上千个学生）。例句中应把hundreds改为hundred。

17.Theirschoolistwiceaslargerasourschool.

表倍数关系的as...as中间只能用形容词或副词的原级。因此应把larger改为large.

18.Today’shomeworkisafive-hundred-wordscomposition.

几个单词由连字符连接而组成的复合形容词中的名词只能用单数，所以把five-hundred-words改为five-hundred-word.

19.TwothirdofthestudentsinourschoolarefromAmerica.

英语表达中分数的分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子大于一时分母后要加s，所以就把third改为thirds.

五.形容词和副词

形容词和副词容易被误用，形容词和副词的比较级和最高级也是应注意的重点。

20.Thepatientappearednervouslywhenhetalkedtothedoctor.

appear在此是个系动词，其后应接形容词作表语。所以应把nervously改为nervous.

21.Theartistworkedhardlytofinishhisdrawingsontime.

此句需要一个副词来修饰，hardly是副词，但意为“几乎不”，hard也可以是副词，表努力，因此把hardly改为hard.

22.Thisshirtismorecheaperthanthatone.

more只构成比较级，而不能修饰比较级。因此把more去掉。

23.Heisthemostsuccessfulofthetwobusinessmen.

两者相比较时，比较级前用定冠词，三者或三者以上才用most，因此把most改为more.

24.Heworkslessharderthanheusedto.

表不如?...时用less加上形容词和副词的原级，因此把harder改为hard.

25.Thebookisfairlymoreinterestingthanthatone.

fairly只能修饰形容词和副词的原级，可以修饰比较级的副词或短语有：much,even,still,far,alot,alittle,abit,any,no,byfar,rather等，因此把fairly改为rather.

as?as中间的词序是as加上形容词加上a(n)加上名词再加上as，因此应改为asinterestingastoryastheone.

27.Theweatherhereisnicerthan.

同样的事物才能相比较，weather和不具有可比性，因此应改为Theweatherhereisnicerthanthatof.

29.Iwouldrathertakeatrainthanwentbybus.

这个词组为wouldratherdo?thando?，因此把went改为go.

30.Isthereinterestinganythingatthemeeting?

修饰anything,something,everything,nothing的形容词都要放在它们的后面。

31.Ineverhaveseensuchapersonbefore.

像never之类的副词在句中应放在be动词、助动词之后，实意动词之前。因为应改为Ihaveneverseensuchapersonbefore.

32.Thebookisworthtoberead.

beworthdoing意为值得被做。因此改为Thebookisworthreading.

33.Itissurethathewillsucceed.

sure的主语只能为人，而certain的主语可为人和物。因此把sure改为certain.

alive为表语形容词，偶尔也做后置定语。因此把alive改为living，或把alive放在writers后面。

六.介词

wait为不及物动词，需加介词for后才能再跟名词或代词做宾语。

A HONG KONG boy has published an English novel of some 50,000 words. The novel was included in Hong Kong’s book exhibition, Xinhua News Agency reported Thursday. How time flies! It has been about two years since I came to the University of Education. Every coin has two sides. On the one hand, I am quite satisfied with my university life. On the other hand, life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.

University is not only a place where you can learn something useful from textbooks, but also a place where you can improve your ability to communicate with others.

During the year university study, I can not only acquire a lot of book learning, but also foster various abilities. All types of extracurricular activities such as sports meets, speech contests, different social gatherings and traveling provide opportunities to make friends, many of these friendships may last a long time. I like talking and playing with others, so I own many friends. Sometimes I feel lonely, angry and also homesick. But fortunately I own these good friends. They helped me spend these sad days. I find words cannot express my sincere thanks to them. But I know when they need help; I will do everything that I can do to help those who helped me before.

I like going to the library where you can find these words on the wall: "Knowledge is power." and "Keep silence!" after class every day. Because I know that we must learn every day. I think the life in university of Education is full of freedom, but I never waste time. Life is not easy

for everybody, especially for those who hopes to lead a happy life”, a famous lady once said. That is to say, you have to try your best to learn and to pass exams in order to make your life become better and better with time going on. So I never give up learning even go to the college.

Sometimes I also want to own more free time to do my own things. But we have too many classes. So I think life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected. The teaching method is boring; instead of lecturing, some teachers just "read" lessons. I hate it. I want to more free time in class.

During the time I spend at the University of Education, I not only develops my intellectual abilities, I also develop social skills as well as knowledge and wisdom necessary for choosing a future career.

In short, we should value our life in the University of Education. Although there are many things lacking, the four years in the university is a worthwhile period in our whole lifetime.

Chinese New Year is the tradition festival in China.It is the same as the christmas day in the west country,it is welcome the new year.

It is the day that the families get together.

The spring festival is usually in the February ,sometimes in January.In the spring festival,every family all paste the lucky inscriptions,they fire the cracker,they eat the dumplings.The day before the new years first day is the new years eve,same as the christmas eve,all the families get together to have the new yaars dinner,wishes each other,talk about the wishes about the new year.Small children will receive the money given to children as a lunar new year gift.

Im going to the sun for my holiday. I will go there by spaceship. I will pilot a big blue spaceship to the sun. The sun is very hot. So I put on the super shirt.

In the morning, I will have some sun burger for my breakfast. At eight oclock, I will play with my friends there. They are super dog and super girl. Super dog is white and black. Super girl is very clever. Super girl and super dog like to play with me. So I play with them for forty minutes.

Then I do my homework in my little red room at a small blue table. After my homework, I will have my lunch. I will eat sun salad. I will have red juice, red fish and red rice.I will make some red toy bear to the sun babies. All the things are red.

Then I need a lot of water on the sun because the sun is too hot. So I will walk to the spaceship. Ill pilot the spaceship to the earth.

This is a good holiday on the sun.

发表了上篇日志之后，我的手机接到了许多同学的电话、短信，内容大都是一些安慰的话语。我觉得他们可能是误会我的意思了。我对物质生活并没有苛求过。钱不必多，够花即可；衣物不必美，能遮体蔽羞即可；房子不必高大，能遮风挡雨即可。可以说，我对物质生活的追求停留在能够维持基本生活的层面上。

我觉得自己并非好财之徒，尽管我也渴望自己能挣更多的钱，我想，在这一点儿上面，我和大家是一致的，谁不希望自己挣更多的钱呢，又有谁会将钱拒之门外呢？

可是，我很安分，并没有什么诸如开商店、倒书卖、玩股票之类的非分之想，我兢兢业业，只想做好一个教师的本职工作。我的工资每个月和我如期而至，我很知足。这些钱虽说管不上什么大用，但也足以维持我们一家三口的开支。每当从银行取钱买奶粉给儿子喝的时候，自己不知道有多高兴；倘若妻子在要求买件衣服穿，那也会乐坏我，用我的钱买衣服，媳妇穿在身上，美与不美暂且不议，我觉得自己很有成就感。

但是，要问我为什么要在上篇日志中提房子的事情，那完全是为了我的父亲。我的内心非常矛盾，既希望父亲留下来，又希望他早点回家。父亲呆在我的身边，与其说是帮我看孩子，倒不如说是我在看他。老家现如今只有他一个人守着一座孤零零的宅子。他在家中什么活也不干，到处找人说说话也好，可是，我怕万一有一天，别人都忙着自己的事情，无暇顾及他，该怎么办？我怕他在家享受不了那份孤寂和凄清；我怕他在家吃不饱、穿不暖，疲于应付日子；我怕他在家中失去约束，靠一醉方休打发时间，如此循环。

太多太多的理由，我要将他留在身边。在这儿呆着哪怕什么忙也帮不上，只要我看见他，我就放心。晚上可以好好休息，寂寞的时候还可以有人聊会儿天，早起可以睡个懒觉。每天查早读，一出门就看见他在水房里洗漱，我很开心。有时候我就戏谑的说他：“给你时间你不睡觉，我多羡慕你啊，要不你帮我查早读？”父亲沉默一会儿说，“我睡不着，每到凌晨三点四点就醒了，腰疼的睡不着觉”，每当听见这类的话我就很难过，泪水都会在眼眶里面打转儿，心如刀绞，尽管我知道父亲不是在和我诉苦。

有时候我真想让他回家去。学校事儿多，工作忙，学生家长事儿更多，有时候难免谈话不愉快，这时候不经意间就会把从家长那边受来的气撒到父亲的头上。父亲总是一套一套不厌其繁的讲给我，可是我总是一个耳朵进另一个耳朵出。我总觉得，自己上过大学，父亲一个老农民，凭什么给我讲大道理，没有资格教育我。可是事实呢？论学历，我确实比父亲高的不少，他才初中毕业；论涉世经验呢？自己只不过是个乳臭未干的毛孩子而已。我总以一种理想的教育方式来衡量这个社会，是地地道道的一个学院派。可是，父亲呢？那一句话不是包含着深刻的道理？这时候我真想让他走，别在这个地方做我的出气筒。

细细思量之后，我意识到我错了，错得一塌糊涂。找父亲道歉吧，可是话到嘴边留一半，又不好意思开这个口。父亲呢，好像没有发生过什么事儿似的，依旧逗着他那可爱的孙子。有时候，我觉得我们爷俩之间的关系，已经到了矛盾激化的地步了，全靠我的儿子他的孙子来维系。

其实，我希望他回家，还有一个更重要的原因。

孩子爱熬夜，往往玩儿到很晚，第二天自然要睡个懒觉，陪孩子玩儿的往往是妻子，所以，妻子要要陪着孩子睡觉。我们只有一间屋子供我们三口住，父亲和门卫大爷住在一起。在我们第二天睡懒觉的时候，父亲总是在外面飘着。早起五点起床，抽根烟、坐会儿，六点洗漱，然后上操场溜达到七点多，回到警卫室休息会儿，抽根烟，就自己出去吃早餐了。等我们起床的时候，门外面的桌子上必定有父亲带回来的早餐，可是这早餐冰凉冰凉，不知道在外面放了多久。我的心一如这早餐冰凉冰凉，我恨我自己连一间房子也没有办法给父亲提供，假如我有了自己的房子，父亲就不用上门为那边呆着了，得少挨打多少冻啊，寒风吹凉了父亲的肌肤，却冰冷了我的心。我恨我自己，连一顿自己亲手做的早餐都不曾给父亲做过，父亲一定很失落，可是我分明看见他午餐时挂在脸上的笑容。

父亲凡事是不会和我计较的。

有一天起得很晚，快到中午十二点了，来不及做饭了，我下午还得上课。妻子和孩子都还在睡，父亲已经飘在外面一上午了。我一骨碌爬起来。找到了不知道在外面漂了多久的父亲，抱歉的说，咱们出去吃吧，她们俩还睡觉呢。我把父亲带到一个小餐馆，说是让父亲尝尝鲜，吃一次酸菜馅儿的饺子，其实是为了表示我的歉意，还特地买了一瓶酒给父亲。

酒酣耳热之际，我一而再再而三的向父亲赔不是，并希望父亲能够原谅我。我也就敢在喝酒是时候有勇气说出这样的话。父亲什么也没有说,只是一味地抽烟，最后好不容易从他的嘴中蹦出一句话“我把你们当孩子呢，包括你媳妇，我压根儿就没有把她当成外人”。

是啊，父亲从来没有抱怨过我什么。父亲是以一个农民的眼光来审视这个世界的。农民身上有着无与伦比的淳朴和善良，对待世界总是那么真实，总是毫无戒备。农民生了我养了我教育了我，这倒让我觉得自己能作为农民的儿子那一份荣耀。

看来这句话得改一改了：父母是孩子一生中的第一位老师。我要把它改成：父母不但是孩子的第一位老师，而且是孩子一辈子的老师。作为农民的父亲，他的身上有着我一辈子学不完的东西，这又使我觉得我向前的行为很幼稚，自己先前对父亲的无礼差点儿使自己成为一个数典忘祖的家伙。

越近年关，对家的思念就会越来越沉重。

现在，我一直盼着早点儿放假，这样我就可以早点儿回家，有更多的时间陪伴我那孤零零在家的父亲。

快点儿放假吧，回到家，我一定要和您好好喝上几杯！

I dont think our school life is colorful. Because weve got so many classes every day. I wonder whether we can change our school life someday. You see, from Monday to Friday, I have to stay at school. the only relaxation is to listen to the radio or play ball games. At weekends, we need to go to school to have classes, too. I know its very important for us to study well now. As the saying goes, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. "I want to step into the nature. I hope we will have more activities such as visiting museums, taking part in different kinds of contests, attending some lectures and so on. Is it only a dream?
