The Autumn Festival

Chinese celebrate the harvest on the Mid-Autumn Festival since ancient times. Its the same as the custom of Thanksgiving Day in North America. The custom of the Mid-Autumn Festival was popular in everywhere in China in the early Tang dynasty. The Mid-Autumn is on August 15 according to lunar calendar, its the festival on which people will worship the moon.

The Mid-Autumn Festival was listed as one of Chinas cultural heritage in 2006 and was designed to be a public holiday in 2014. The moon cake is regarded as an indispensable food on Mid-Autumn Festival. People give them to their relatives and friends as gifts or enjoy them in the family party. 我的高中生活，如流水一般，一滴一滴的流入了时间的长河中。而这条河没有任何改变地依旧向前流淌着，承载着我在高中经历的欢乐与悲伤、激动与低沉，承载着所有人的记忆。

一晃眼间，我步入高中已经一年多了，成为了一名高二学生。在走过了一半的高中生活中，社团、学生会、运动会、艺术节等各类活动丰富着我们的校园生活，让我们过得充实而又丰富多彩。

曾有老师说过，读书三年，而这三年过去，说快也快，说慢也慢。无论是每节课都认真听讲努力学习，还是吊儿郎当敷衍了事过得，都是一样的时间。所以我们应该充分利用好这有限的时间，将其投入到无限的学习中去，而不是虚度光阴，白白地浪费我们的青春时光。

有些同学不懂得抓紧时间，等回过神时，时间已经一去不复返了，而高考也迫在眉睫，到那时候就太晚了。

在上高中之前，就曾幻想过高中生活的样子，平日里是在电视上，电影里看到的所谓"别人家的"高中生活，充斥着师生情、同学情的青春气息。而在上高中之后，我发现电视里的确实是存在，但好像与我们的真实情况不太一样，也不总是快乐无忧的。

在学校犯的小错，与同学的一点矛盾，对老师的一些意见，都会引起自己情绪的波动。而这些也正是我们懵懂青春道路上必经的一些小插曲。

秋天是一个丰收的季节，在这个丰收的季节里，我们来到了爷爷的小果园，帮助他。

书面表达历来是英语教学中一个难点，要想在限定的时间内写出一篇质量上乘的文章，非一日之功。纵观几年来的高考书面表达，我们可以看出，高考英语写作越来越重视情景的设置，要求考生总结自己的感受和见解，给出自己的观点。书面表达又是全面衡量学生英语综合水平的一种测试形式，因此，我们不得不重视。

第一步，写作的内容，要求做到两点— 内容完整、相关。这两点只要考生不粗心，基本都能做到。比如陕西考区的题目，要求写暑假的安排，是一篇正反观点类的议论文。必须注意题目的要求，第一要提出讨论话题，Recently there has been a heated discussion about what the students should do during the summer vacation.(这是一个经典的模版开篇句型)。第二要写出一方面的观点，然后是另一方面的观点，最后提出自己的看法，根据要求缺一不可，否则就会被扣掉相应的分数，这就是完整。再比如，2005年广东考区的成语寓言故事，不仅要描写整个守株待兔的过程，还应该根据要求点名寓意，否则也是不完整，这点只要在课堂上强调，学生是很容易做到的。所谓相关，也就是不要过多出现文中没有的信息，不能过分发挥，一般学生犯此类错误的较少。

第二步，写作中的语法。在阅卷中，一般三个小的语法错误会被扣掉一分，一个大的语法错误(关于谓语的错误)会被扣掉一分。所以，学生应该尽量避免犯语法错误。我在课堂中会强调，对于语法基础薄弱的同学，除了加强自己的语法功底外，就是去背诵我给出的50个最高频用到的句法结构。这些结构不仅正确，而且一定是高考中的有效得分点，即使语法偏弱，记住这些句子然后在考试中使用也能避免学生自己造句中的语法错误，一举两得。比如，倒装句在考试中就很少有同学主动启用，但是一旦正确启用就会收到意想不到的效果，所以我会给出四组倒装句，然后让学生加强运用和练习。这些句子包括：

1、Only when we realize the importance of environmental protection, can we solve the problem of pollution.

2、So precious is time that we can’t afford to waste it.

3、Diligent as he was, he failed in passing the exam.

4、By no means should teenagers get into the habit of smocking.

第三步，连接词的运用，使文章连贯、流畅。我把这些词分为8类，叫做“畅词”，往往学生由于中西方语言的差异，会忽视这一点，所以在授课中会通过大量的练习巩固和加强学生的印象。而且不仅要写，还写出高水平的畅词，因为高考是选拔性考试，要做到“人无我有,人有我优”。比如，“首先”这个表示次序的畅词，一般同学一定想到的是firstly 或者first of all。可是我建议学生启用to begin with, 或者initially (这个是建议水平较好的启用)。“然而”，绝大部分启用but, however，我建议学生采用on the contrary 或者oppositely。

第四步，也是整个课程的核心部分，要强化“复杂、高级”两个概念。为什么是核心呢?因为学生在这一部分没有正确的认识，在平时的学习中老师也没有有意识灌输和训练总结。大部分学生以为只要写出来、写正确就可以拿到高分，其实80-120个单词包括大概10个句子，如果全部是简单的词汇和句型没有办法达到最高档作文的要求。因此，我们强调高级的词汇和高级复杂的句型，不是说全部必须高级，而是必须出现一些才能符合高考作文大纲的要求。在这一步中，我总结的“高分词汇选择原则”、“简单句到复杂句的瞬间转换”、“高分句子写作策略”以及“钻石得分50句”，通过这些理论和实践结合的讲解，学生会感觉成绩的快速提升，效果明显。

历史，经常会发生改变，它随时都在变迁。

历史是那古老的通济堰，尽管慕名而来，可过了大半天，我们仍是无法细致的观察。他根本只是一个木制的土坝，后来经过范成大将它翻新成石坝。这产生在南朝的水利工程，早已饱经岁月的风霜，他尽管没有都江堰那般名闻中外没有三峡大坝那般雄伟壮阔，但他仍然默默的奉献着自己时，古时候那些丽水人民免遭洪灾侵扰不管后来石坝会变成什么样，他永远默默无闻的保护着丽水人民。

我和杜欣住一个小区，那天中午整个儿院子里救护车凄凉的声响和她的家人撕肝裂肺的哭声，仿佛是把有力的鞭子，无情地抽打着一切给予过她关爱、友谊、教导的人们的心。从那儿以后，靠门前排的那个座位就一直空着，每次迈进教室都会看到那把空着的凳子，眼前就能浮现出杜欣生前与同学们欢声笑语、嬉戏打闹的景象，可是这些都随着她那颗要强、无理取闹、懒惰的心成为回忆。在此之后，我们都会有意无意地提起这件事来，都会使我们哑然失笑，黯然伤神。杜欣是彻底解脱了自己，可她将一直伤害着许多人的心灵，一次次地为她落泪、一次次地为她惋惜。

As soon as everyone steps into junior middle schools, English plays an important role in our daily life. Whats more, with China entering the WTO, English has become the most popular foreign language in China. As a student, I think everyone should have a good knowledge of English. Classmates like asking her for help, because sheis always ready for help.
